Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Carenero Island

Great over water bungalow - has everything you need. Rebecca was always very helpful, friendly, and answered very quick. Next to the apartment was a supermarket and 2 restaurants. At night it was often very loud music from places nearby. Thanks for the nice stay!

I pretty much have traveled all over the world and this is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed in. The balconies are beautiful and spacious. The pool area was perfect, kitchen is big if you like to cook. The little dock is so peaceful. It’s very peaceful and quiet but not too far from other restaurants and bars. The little beach bar next door is adorable with decent food and great drinks. We loved skully’s bar which was about a 15 minute walk down the road. To get into town is very easy. We used Jose’ as our taxi driver which was recommended by Connor. Also, I highly recommend getting a private boat for the tours of the other islands. Connor gave us a good recommendation. Bogo was our captain and he took us wherever we wanted to go. I don’t usually go back to same destination twice but I will definitely be back here again.

The house is very nice, and is located right between the greenery, with great view of the jungle on one side and the coast by the front. It is small, although suitable for two people. The toilet is located right against the bed so there is not much privacy when using it

Our little family lives every moment spent at the villa! We felt an amazing combination of luxury and home like feeling. Everything was clear, clean, well thought through! Morgan went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you for the amazing stay!

A beautiful place to hide out from the world for a while. While only a short walk from Old Bank and close to lots of other houses, the cottage felt very private. Wonderful sea breezes, beautiful view and tropical gardens, falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was such a treat. We loved the little beach and swimming hole just out front. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. Tons of fans everywhere. Nina and Nesto were super responsive to any questions or requests that we had. A great stay!

Denise’s place was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. We liked the privacy and easy access. The house manual was helpful in navigating to the home and getting in. Morgan was great to work with. Communication was spot on. Wizard beach was a 20 min walk. We loved the plunge pool to cool off. Water taxis were easy to hail. We did a tour to the bat caves. We saw bats and swam in a deep pool inside the cave. A highlight of the whole trip. He provides transportation. A projector was available to watch Pirates of the Caribbean on the front deck. Wowza, what a magical vacation and this home made it that much more perfect.

Lucas was helpful with instructions and travel trips pror to my arrival. He and Gloria were very friendly and welcoming my entire stay. The apartment was just as described and provided everything I needed. It was great to see, hear and experience the wildlife and Lucas sharing his knowledge of the animals. It was a wonderful a relaxing 5 days. I look forward to visiting again!

Very nice place! The photos don’t do justice. About a 10 minute walk from the “main strip”. Very big rooms, two bathrooms. There is also a washing machine which was ideal! Any problems and you get communication straight away!

5 amazing days Alex was very responsive, very present, considerate. The place is superb, between land and sea, splendid view, the cottage is so amazing, a real little cocoon, the little kitty 🐈‍⬛ comes by every day, hugs kisses. We love it The large bathroom, 2 large bedrooms with A/C, very large living space, well-equipped kitchen. It has everything. Close to restaurants ( ciao pizza I recommend ) Taxi just down to take you to town in 10 minutes, $3 per person to town, taxis are also great. To conclude, Alex's Airbnb is really awesome! Ps: beware of guiboles we go up slightly, it's on a small hill but you will take your eyes full!

The space is a little dream. About 100 meters from the beautiful beach. The beach is clean and deserted. It has a restaurant nearby and a cool bar. The apartment is very cozy and the kitchen well equipped. Since there is no shopping nearby, it is worth shopping before arriving in Bocas. The cooking here is very fun. Birds, a sloth and lots of butterflies live in the garden. Very nice and perfect for anyone who is looking for some peace in nature. We'd love to recommend it to everyone 🥰

It was a pleasant stay! We loved the view and the beach close by! :) I loved the talk I had wi the Lily she was very friendly and we realized me and her are probably relatives! Hahaha My partner and I really enjoyed this stay! Thanks again!

My experience in this stay was excellent. The place is as shown in the photos: clean, comfortable and ideally located. The host was very attentive, always willing to help and provide local recommendations. I felt at home from the start. I would definitely recommend and would come and stay here again on future visits. Danielle's place is perfect, very clean, comfortable, is completely quiet during the night, the internet is fast.. it has everything you need for a nice stay. But the most important aspect is the location. It's basically in Colon's central area, you have the supermarket about 2 blocks, restaurants of all kind, the airport is just 3 blocks distance. This is the most perfect location, we will definitely return.

This was our second time staying at this place and it will definitely remain our first choice every time we return to the island. The location is excellent, the space is comfortable, clean and well cared for, and the host is always aware that everything is perfect. We felt at home. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

The place was as expected or better, the location is fantastic because it's in the center area but still not too close to the noisy places, being on the 3rd floor helped. I'd go back to Dea's place, no question about it. There are cheaper and more expensive options around but I think this is a very good sweet spot, everything was clean, we felt safe and comfortable at all times! We had no trouble with the stairs but keep in mind that if you go with someone who has difficulty walking, going up to the 3rd floor where the condo is will be a challenge, we were totally ok with that and as long as you have no mobility impediments, the place is easy to get to. There was a minimal confusion about the locking mechanism at the front door, the bottom locker was loose and we thought it would be a problem but Dea was very responsive and explained how to use the top locker, which was totally fine and eased all our worries. I would recommend it and come back as well.

Bill was a gracious host and knew the island like the back of his hand. I would 1000% recommend his place to anyone looking to come to Bocas. He’s is extremely helpful and accommodating. Thanks!
