The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. Shahrear's cottage was beautiful inside and out, secluded and private from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was fully equipped with kitchen necessities and also had linens bedding provided. Shahrear was very responsive and friendly from booking to check out. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway!

We got a last family get away before our girls go off to college. It was a beautiful spot to play games, enjoy a slower pace and get some quality family time together. We fished, read, played games and just enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the area. Alex and Violetta were super responsive to the questions that I had. Beautiful home and lots of thoughtful amenities.

A perfect getaway — again! This was our second stay at this charming cabin, and it was just as wonderful as the first. Everything was exactly as listed — spotless, beautifully organized, and full of thoughtful touches that show real pride of ownership. The setting by the creek is serene, with gorgeous views and total quiet. We especially loved evenings by the fire pit. Easy access to Bobcaygeon is a bonus. We’re already planning next year’s visit — highly recommended!
