Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Our small cozy wooden house is located in a vacation home village right by the Holzbach Gorge on the Westerwaldsteig. Enjoy the tranquility and nature of the beautiful Westerwald. The cottage is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours and is close to a swimming lake (Secker Weiher). With up to 4 people, you will stay alone in the house. The garden is also intended for your own use. Arrival without a car is not possible. !! No rental to companies!!

Limburg with its beautiful old town and the cathedral invite you to linger and stroll in less than 20 minutes' drive.

Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength and inspiration. Fire pit and kettle grill are available. "Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
