Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Botswana

Pictures do not do justice to show how beautiful the house is. The furnishings inside are in excellent condition and the house is beautifully decorated. We were pleasantly surprised by the grounds and the weekly housekeeping, which was very thorough. Nancy was very responsive to all questions. I would stay here again

Petra was an extremely friendly host. He waited for us at the accommodation even though we came late and weren’t able to contact him about it. The house itself is very roomy and feels cozy. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.The location is peaceful and the sunset is beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Kealeboga was a perfect host, I was informed about every detail of the stay and offered great advise of the wonderful food spots around Maun. The house was absolutely stunning.

Safe and secure away from the city but not far from store. A great place to get rest and tranquility.

Rahim was very welcoming and friendly and accommodating. The area is extremely quiet, and peaceful. The interiors and space of the house is more than expected. Quiet and peaceful place to get away.

Good value for money and good location.

We did not expect to find such a beautiful place. Everything is well planned and stylishly put together. Great fishing, delicious meals, birds, animals and breathtaking river and bush surroundings. Could have stayed for much longer!

Gontse house with pool was about a 7 minute drive from the bus terminal. I did get royally ripped by a taxi driver P400 rather than about P100 so check beforehand. Gontse was there to greet me at about 9pm. The home was a nice size for me on my own but had a large garden, pool (which I didn't use) and is used for an events business she runs. I booked for three nights but stayed for five. I loved Botswana and this accommodation complemented the place and the people perfectly. Thank you.

Initially there was a problem due to a mistake Trish had made on B&B. She was quite distraught after realising the mistake, went out of her way to set things right and compensate us for any inconvenience. Integrity is a rare thing to find these days. Had a great time in Chobe on the game drive and then later, the sunset cruise (Trish's staff made the bookings for us) Absolutely recommend Chobe Self Catering and Chobe Riverside Cottages.

This little gem is a MUST STAY! So beautiful and well set out. Everything ++ when managing your expectations. Can’t wait to get back there!

Mimi’s place was a great stay for my family. The price was worth it. My family felt safe and there was a security officer there every night. The house has a lot space for a group of 6 people. Its an old house and needs some renovation.

Detailed google and physical description was sent while I was still at the airport. This made locating the property very easy. A property manager stays within the premises for topnotch attention. Itumeleng was a perfect attendant. The amenities were as listed. There's however still no AC in one of the rooms. The fan there was also not working which would have been a nightmare in hot season. The WIFI signal also flunctuates. It may be necessary to change to a better service provider. In all, Thabos is home away from home with so much space. Walking distance to SPAR and close to the City center. I'd book again during winter season and in the hot days if its confirmed that AC is fixed in the 2nd room. Thumps up for Thabo

We had a wonderful stay at Dirkies place! He is very kind and helpful and assisted us with everything we needed. The Airbnb is located in nature, which we really enjoyed - it’s a beautiful and peaceful setting. However, that also means there are quite a few insects, but that’s to be expected. We could use the gym and the pool which was amazing. Everything was very clean, and everyone we met was super friendly. We would definitely come back! Thanks for everything!

We loved our stay with Kopano and Chris, they were so welcoming and helpful. Their place gave us an authentic African experience, a hidden gem close to town with friendly dogs, cats and chics. Comfy beds, nice showers, lovely pool and a kitchen with all the basics our family needed. They gave us local recommendations and took us on a lovely walk by the river. Overall, our family didn’t wanna leave :)

Beautiful, modern flat located in a quiet part of central Gaborone - so convenient for getting around, but also a quiet haven within the city. Patience and the team were wonderful and helpful hosts - communicative, friendly and helpful - and look forward to a future stay.

All hotels in Maun were sold out so thankfully we had a bed to sleep in. Wr arranged it very late at night and last minute, but all sorted out quickly. Location is quite secluded though

We had a great stay and Kalan was kind enough to accept us with our chows, thank you for that! Quaint little place with everything one needs and very clean. Secluded, peaceful and we felt very safe. We were checked in by Innocent who was also very kind. Definitely would stay here again!

A cute well-equipped room and kitchen in the bush on the edge of Maun village. Kalan was very helpful in getting us in contact with taxis who will bring you to the center of Maun for 3 USD, a so-called special taxi".

Kalan truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable and seamless as possible, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She is an incredibly lovely host—responsive, proactive, and exceptionally hospitable. The space itself was exactly as described and even better in person. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.
