Everything about this place is wonderful! A filipino style home beautifully made and accommodations were perfect. Even let us come back on short notice when our other place didn't work out. Thank you for letting us enjoy your space!

I am glad that the host has invited us to this listing and we're the first occupants. The place has a beautiful view of the beach. I love that the living room area opens to the shore which is very accessible through the wooden fence. It seems like we own the entire stretch of the beach as there aren't any nearby resorts. The host was very hospitable and has tour us around the place. The way to the chalet is through a series of steps since the beach is at the bottom of what seems like a seaside cliff. We're happy to know that the host offers to cook food for dinner at a price as we find it hard to go up and down the stairs specially with some elderly around. The host was so considerate as to allow us some visitors, some local relatives we have to enjoy the beautiful place. I must mention the host has dogs and a beautiful husky that greets visitors ❤️🐶 and the lovely cat Mingkay who keeps us company all day ❤️🐱.

It was a great stay at this place. Very kindly people working at this place. Always helped us. You can book tours in the apartment and a scooter and get some good food there. The location is quiet and right by the beach where you can snorkel and dive very good. We liked it a lot and would come back again. Thank you!

Stayed in Chad's place for my birthday and it's amazing 😍 the things you can expect in a camping ground just leveled up. few things they can offer are table utensils for rent or purchased and a Wi-fi connection. the best thing in there is the ocean will not leave you even if it's low tide, you don't have to walk far away as the water is just 5 steps away🤗 the hammock and the staff is great too. thanks Val for the recommendation for places to go. Thanks for the great birthday experience Chad. if ur from Cebu City it's 4 to 5 hours travel by bus but can be just 2 to 3 if u have own transpo. If you like to go to Sumilon, ask Val cause he will have someone pick u from the Alfonsa for 500 pesos each and u can enjoy until 3pm in the islet. 🥰 prepare your body for great experience,guys!🤗🤗

This was definitely a great place to stay in Ginatilan. Both Grace and Matias were so accommodating, hospitable, welcoming, and so kind from the moment we arrived until we left for our 2 nights stay. We also got a free banana cake from Grace coz we are celebrating my Husbands birthday. We fell in love with their place plus they have a cutttiee and playful golden retriver ❤️🫶🏻. The sea, sunset, sound of nature, and the vibes, you can really call it a home away from home. You can just sit there, chillin’ and watch the sunset. Their place is also at the center of all activities nearby (Falls and Hot Spring). We also felt very comfortable to our room, there’s no need for aircon because of the sea breeze 🌊. I can really recommend their place for those who are planning to travel southwest of Cebu. Both Grace and Matias were very cool, no wonder Grace got the SuperHost badge because she will really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience during your stay ❤️🥰🫶🏻

If you want to relax away from the crowded city then this is the place for you! Its located in the peaceful side of the beach but still walkable from restaurant and or a local store who sells food and refreshments. And with high tide, its almost a literal beach right at your doorstep. There’s no stable cellular signal but you can connect to the paid wifi. Also its a good thing that they have cr inside the room. Overall we had a great stay!

Absolutely loved my stay! This Airbnb is a peaceful escape, Idea for unwinding and getting away from it all. Highly recommend for a stress-free get away! The Host is fantastic, making the stay even better. Super friendly and accommodating their hospitality added a personal touch to the whole experience. Highly appreciated their warmth and helpfulness.

Room had a beautiful view from the window. It was a good place to rest after being out all day! I liked that there were places to sit outside and look at a beautiful scenery.

Great place to relax and hang! It's simple, private and peaceful. Had a beautiful sunset view and very convenient access by the sea.

Smooth check in w/the house manager, Bernie, meeting to provide an overview of amenities/things to know & being readily available. Check out was also easy as it only required sending a message depature day. The property is as depicted & it's within a humble Filipino community where locals are kind. With that being said, there are some quirks like the 5/6am morning roosters calls/dogs barks as the locals start their day. I didn't mind this as it served as an alarm for early excursions set up by the coordinator that the host connected me to (while more expensive, transport was reliable & logistics=well organized). There was lots of trash on the beach upon arrival. This improved on subsequent days making the beach welcoming. The sliding doors could benefit from some repairs as they were difficult to close/lock due to poor alignment. Also using the pool involved a bit of balancing act due to the narrowness of the ledge to reach the pool stairs. Best feature was the outside shower!

The place is great, it sits right above the water and is perfect for a quick getaway. They have a restaurant on sight and the food is great and well priced. Overall great value

Lola’s place was the perfect place to start our trip in the Philippines. From the minute we go there we felt right at home and were greeted with a big smile and open arms. They gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try etc and went above and beyond. Could not recommend this place enough and would love to stay there again.

The charged bill of the electrcity is understandable since the rate of the electric company is quite high. all in all my experience in the place is so far great. Place will recharge you sea windy breeze, view is amazing and the place is so solemn my mind is full charge. Thanks jake and ate erma all in all the price is justified the electricity bill.

Stephen was a great host. Perfect place for nature lovers. If you are concerned with dogs, geckos and frogs, you might need to think twice before staying here. The pool here is well maintained and peaceful. There's a sitout by the pool where you can chill and have a great conversation with Stephen when he's around. Loved the place overall

You definitely get your moneys worth, all the reviews I read were accurate. Close to the action, yet far enough where it was quiet. Although I did not meet the host Leah, she was quick to respond to all my messages/questions. Chris was waiting for me when checking in which was quick and easy. Mr. Dandy the security guard was onsite guarding the entrance every night. Dandy was the first person you see when leaving and returning. Dandy is a just a great human being, with the Filipino hospitality you would expect and more. It was a pleasure to talk to Dandy during my 2 night stay. If you are considering renting from Leah… Do It !!

Mariana’s guest house was perfect for me and two friends. The location was great, a short 10min walk into town. The view from the room was stunning, some of the best sunsets I’ve seen. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mariana’s. her communication was very fast and helpful. We would love to stay again one day!

Gia's place was exactly as pictured. You pay for the location and breathtaking views from the balcony. Literally steps from the ocean where you will see everybody snorkeling and diving with turtles and sardines. The location is very close to a popular dance bar that is open until 3am with music playing until then. The offshore boats begin their tours at 7am with noise from the boats and people. I wouldn't recommend if you're a light sleeper. The room itself has a very rustic feel, is spacious and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Plenty of storage space and perfectly working AC. The water pressure in the shower was low, but functional. This rental space will grow on you. The people who operate the reception, kitchen and tours were so friendly and helpful. Toto is a local guide who frequents the property and if you choose to make Gia's your next accommodations while in Moalboal, his local suggestions and knowledge of the area is superb. I would 100% book again.

great place for relaxation. Hospitality is outstanding

The location is PERFECT- 2 mins away from Whale Shark Watching and Sumilon. Accessible to restos and convenience stores and ATMs. The house itself is functional. Everything you need is in the house ( rice cookers, scissors, ref, gas stove, hose for washing the car, basins, towels etc). Having a private beach is a BONUS!! Imagine swimming at the private beach which is literally a stone's throw away from the Butandings! Lastly, the caretaker, Leah is simply the best. She guided us all three days we were at Oslob. We felt safe, secured and very well spoiled by her attention. She went the extra mile for us. She booked us EVERYTHING we needed: from simple favors of getting us ice, and items we needed for cooking, to booking us massage therapists, to providing us priority services at Whaleshark, Sumilon and Monkey Viewing. In return we ensured we left the space spooky clean same way we found it when we arrived. Oslob experience was a dream!

My family of 4 (kids 6 and 4) enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. However if you are a light sleeper, it was pretty loud some nights with the music and dogs always barking. But you can snorkel right off the back patio area down the stairs. It's a prime location as we were able to see sea turtles and the sardine run. The hosts are extremely responsive and offer laundry service as well. We were able to get jugs of drinking water very easily which was also a plus. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend staying here!

This place is definitely worth every cent! It was private and peaceful. Wonderful amenities and just across the beach. Edwin was also an amazing host. Very responsive and friendly. He even helped us when we had a little issue during the wee hours of the night. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!
