It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. From all windows, the apartment offers fantastic views of the Werra/bridge or the old town. The rooms are lovingly furnished. The hot tub is heated and is there for your own use all year round. There are no other guests.

Outdoor fans, take note! On our farm we have just the thing for you: A cozy wooden car with a loft bed (1.40 m) and sofa bed (1.20 m) and a shepherd's wagon with a large lying area (2 m x 2.20 m). There is also a shower house with toilet in the meadow. Our ducks and pigs live right next door. There is electricity. Wi-Fi is available in the farmhouse 150 meters away. Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The owl's nest is a magical accommodation that lives up to its name. We spent a very nice long weekend in the Alte Forsthaus and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, in which nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. Thank you very much!

We were three couples plus children. The accommodation is much better than you can capture with photos. It is really perfectly suited to families. The toys are great, great books, great garden with a mega trampoline. It was just perfect for us. We wanted to spend a lot of time there, despite the changeable weather, we were busy with everyone at all times, both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is excellently equipped. If you want to look for something that's "missing", then labels on the cabinets, where something is inside. The kitchens are huge and there is soooo much. :-D So, thank you, thank you, thank you. We are looking in our calendar to see when we can come back. Best regards

Super nice! Idyllic, large meadow by the house great for ball game or frisbee, several creeks by the house + various cozy places. Inside everything very tasteful, nice mix of old + new, lots of wooden beams, very different room heights. Upstairs 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Toilet on the ground floor would be more practical, especially since the stairs are a little special, just old building. The remnants of the former mill right by the house ensure a clearly audible perpetual sludge. You can't hear cars passing by at some distance. Directly around the house there are only meadows, water, trees, fields as well as the neighboring house with 2 (?) other apartments. Lots of beautiful views. Brilon can be reached in 5 minutes by car, but you feel very nice to yourself due to the valley location. Weak Wi-Fi, which is noticeable during music streaming and use of the media library, for example. Good fully automatic coffee machine. With all the small criticism or ideas for improvement: we felt very comfortable!
