Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bocas del Toro Province

Great over water bungalow - has everything you need. Rebecca was always very helpful, friendly, and answered very quick. Next to the apartment was a supermarket and 2 restaurants. At night it was often very loud music from places nearby. Thanks for the nice stay!

Abracadabra was a wonderful place to stay in Bocas. We were a family of four, two adults a 6 year old and a baby. Very clean with all the necessities for cooking. We enjoyed the feeling of being in the jungle. We were visited by monkeys and hummingbirds and saw a toucan on the property. It is a very close walk to Bluff Beach which is postcard perfect. Walkable to many restaurants nearby. Bluff beach is not great for swimming or surfing but nice for walking and relaxing. All Bocas activities leave from town which is a 20-30 min drive. We rented a car but taxis are easily called. Although it meant a bit of a trip to town every time we wanted to do an adventure, it was worth it to feel the nature and seclusion of Bluff Beach at the start and end of each day. Nicole was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. Highly recommend this stay if you don’t mind the journey to and from town to get to all other Bocas experiences.

La casa es muy bonita, y se encuentra justo entre la vegetación, con gran vista a la selva de un lado y la costa por el frente. Es pequeña, aunque adecuada para dos personas. El inodoro está ubicado justo contra la cama, por lo que no hay mucha privacidad a la hora de hacer uso del mismo

We live in the Bocas archipelago and were looking for good place for a birthday get away that felt like a complete vacation without actually having to lease Bocas. This was AMAZING! Steve, Terra and Jesse made us feel at home instantly. The house is stunning, very spacious, surrounded by beautiful gardens (we actually enjoyed a sit in the grass under the coconut trees) and so close to a few different beach experiences (in front and to the right for some beach-ventures nearby). The kitchen is quite well equipped, house has lots of nice touches, very large terrace which was enjoyable rain or shine and we loved having so many seating options!! We used the kayaks one afternoon to explore the waters, which was super fun! They have lots of movies and game options as well. We enjoyed the house so much we barely left during our stay (ather than the few short trips to the beach)! I am pretty sure we all took videos to share with friends and family to make them all jealous, haha!!

Like every other review this place is incredible. We didn’t want to leave! Our tips would be - take more cash than you think you’ll need and a little more food than you think you’ll need. 😆 we ate at the restaurant one evening which was lovely and their chef is amazing but otherwise it was easy to fend for ourselves in the incredible setting. Touring the community is amazing (take your bug spray!) and the other outings were equally as memorable. We also toured the cacao farm in Dolphin Bay which was great! We were there with our twin boys who are 7 and not a moment of boredom! The house kitty was adorable and the boys named her Tinta (Valimir said she didn’t have a name yet so was happy she got one 😆) The boys are ready to go back!

Our little family lives every moment spent at the villa! We felt an amazing combination of luxury and home like feeling. Everything was clear, clean, well thought through! Morgan went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you for the amazing stay!

10 Star Rating in our book!! Our stay at the Pool House at Paunch was exceptional to say the very least!!! First of all, Joanna is not your average host... she goes above and beyond in every way! She communicated with me multiple times before our trip and was open to any questions I had. She provides her guests with an invaluable amount of information which 100% made our trip beyond our wildest imagination! She provides this info via a link that can be printed for your reference which I HIGHLY encourage everyone do. We used this information everyday as a guide. EVERYTHING she recommends is the absolute best! She even has breakfast in the refrigerator for your first morning there! We loved every single thing about the house and location!! We felt so at home there! The pool was such a bonus! She is always available to help in any way. We would absolutely stay with her again. We left Bocas feeling like we had made a new friend. She puts her heart and soul into her properties!

The Jungle House at Playa Bluff was a great getaway destination for our 2 families, with 4 adults and 6 children, ages 4-11. The pool was great and the sleeping arrangements worked well for us. There is a decent kitchen, but we mostly ate at nearby restaurants or on our daily adventures. The house is about a 25 min taxi ride from the main town and the road can get soupy, but any of the truck taxis can easily get to the house. The beach is stunning, although not great for swimming with rip tides and currents. The host was super responsive to all questions and I would highly recommend this house. We even saw sloths and monkeys right around the house.

Lucas was helpful with instructions and travel trips pror to my arrival. He and Gloria were very friendly and welcoming my entire stay. The apartment was just as described and provided everything I needed. It was great to see, hear and experience the wildlife and Lucas sharing his knowledge of the animals. It was a wonderful a relaxing 5 days. I look forward to visiting again!

Very nice place! The photos don’t do justice. About a 10 minute walk from the “main strip”. Very big rooms, two bathrooms. There is also a washing machine which was ideal! Any problems and you get communication straight away!

Julieta’s place is a bit higher than the rest of Old Bank village, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. She has a big garden surrounded by big trees and bamboos specifically her jackfruit trees attracted many birds which we could observe every day from our room! The trail to Wizards’ beach is right at the corner where we saw a couple of sloths! She is very friendly person who cares about us all through our stay by messages, despite she was off the island. Highly recommended!

5 jours incroyables Alex a été très réactif, très présent, prévenant. L’endroit est superbe, entre terre et mer, vue splendide, le gîte est tellement incroyable, un vrai petit cocon, la petite minette 🐈‍⬛ passe faire son tour tous les jours, câlins bisous. On l’adore La salle de bain grande, 2 grandes chambres avec Clim, très grand espace de vie, cuisine bien équipée. Il y a tout. À proximité de resto ( ciao pizza je recommande ) Taxi juste en bas pour vous emmener en ville en 10 minutes, 3 dollars par personne pour aller en ville, les taxis sont aussi géniaux. Pour conclure, le Airbnb d’Alex est vraiment vraiment genial ! Ps : attention aux guiboles on monte légèrement, c’est sur une petite colline mais vous allez en prendre plein les yeux !

Mi experiencia en este hospedaje fue excelente. El lugar es tal como se muestra en las fotos: limpio, cómodo y con una ubicación ideal. El anfitrión fue muy atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y brindar recomendaciones locales. Me sentí como en casa desde el primer momento. Sin duda, lo recomendaría y volvería a hospedarme aquí en futuras visitas. ¡Gracias por todo!

Unser ganzer Aufenthalt war perfekt - die Betten, die Küche, das WLAN, die Klimaanlage, die Kommunikation - alles. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber die Dusche. Sehr groß, nicht rutschig, heißes Wasser (nicht nur warm) und vernünftiger Druck. Das haben wir so nur ganz selten auf unserer mehrmonatigen Tour durch Mittelamerika erlebt.

Danielle's place is perfect, very clean, comfortable, is completely quiet during the night, the internet is fast.. it has everything you need for a nice stay. But the most important aspect is the location. It's basically in Colon's central area, you have the supermarket about 2 blocks, restaurants of all kind, the airport is just 3 blocks distance. This is the most perfect location, we will definitely return.

Esta fue nuestra segunda vez hospedándonos en este lugar y, sin duda, seguirá siendo nuestra primera opción cada vez que regresemos a la isla. La ubicación es excelente, el espacio es cómodo, limpio y bien cuidado, y el anfitrión siempre está pendiente de que todo esté perfecto. The place was as expected or better, the location is fantastic because it's in the center area but still not too close to the noisy places, being on the 3rd floor helped. I'd go back to Dea's place, no question about it. There are cheaper and more expensive options around but I think this is a very good sweet spot, everything was clean, we felt safe and comfortable at all times! We had no trouble with the stairs but keep in mind that if you go with someone who has difficulty walking, going up to the 3rd floor where the condo is will be a challenge, we were totally ok with that and as long as you have no mobility impediments, the place is easy to get to. There was a minimal confusion about the locking mechanism at the front door, the bottom locker was loose and we thought it would be a problem but Dea was very responsive and explained how to use the top locker, which was totally fine and eased all our worries. I would recommend it and come back as well.

Bill was a gracious host and knew the island like the back of his hand. I would 1000% recommend his place to anyone looking to come to Bocas. He’s is extremely helpful and accommodating. Thanks!
