it's a place in good fantastic season. the vision of the lake every day is a living picture. Swim there without a wow crowd. 2 good restaurants. the famous nets of perch of the lake, with a view of a treat. small town where it's nice to stay. there are lots of beautiful discoveries around the France or Switzerland side.

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Future guests may want to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before arriving. That said, the mountain views and tranquil setting

Nothing to say except thank you to Thomas for his welcome, kindness and availability. The place is exactly as in the photos, it's a peaceful place with a breathtaking landscape. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the stay. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Maria and Jean-Marc are very welcoming and very open hosts without being stingy with practical information. The accommodation matches the description of the listing exactly and is very functional. Jean-Marc offered to take us to a site close to their home while showing us his native region. A big thank you to Maria and Jean-Marc for their advice and availability. I look forward to seeing them again if the opportunity arises.

We had a great time. The description of the accommodation and amenities is perfectly in line with reality. Beautiful views of Lake Geneva. The place is very nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. It feels like home. Jean Luc is a very friendly, caring and accommodating host. We recommend it 100%, you won't be disappointed.

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

The stay was comfortable and the apartment has everything we needed for our stay. Location is super great, just 2 minutes walk to the lake. It’s also located near the shopping streets and less than 10 minutes by foot to the train station. Sandrine has been a nice host, providing us flexibility in check in and check out. She has given us great hospitality by providing us information on what we can do during our stay at Montreux. Thank you, Sandrine for the comfortable stay! :)

I had a very lovely time in Montreux at Gwendoline’s apartment. I can say that this has been my best Airbnb stay so far. The apartment is so beautifully done, spacious enough for two people. It has a balcony and a lake view which is so pretty. It is just 10 mins away from the city centre so very convenient to go see all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment if you’re in the area.

A beautifully presented apartment. It was easy to access and clear instructions were given on how to find the property and how to get in. The interiors are beautiful and wonderfully craftsmanship with all the beautiful wood touches. Me and my family had a wonderful stay!

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in! The host is kind, responsive, and extraordinary helpful. We felt welcomed and right at home. You sleep right beside the stars and wake up to the sun on lake Geneva. Perfection. Plus, all of the extra recommendations and transportation passes are such a bonus!

What an incredible retreat! This Airbnb stands out as my favorite for a reason. The stunning location offered an unparalleled view, a true 10/10 that provided the most serene backdrop for my much-needed downtime. It was genuinely the perfect place to completely recharge. The Airbnb itself had everything I could possibly need, whether for a short getaway or a longer stay. Rudolf was a flawless host, full of invaluable local insights that made exploration even better. I particularly enjoyed the gorgeous hiking trails accessible right from the property and the lovely stroll into town. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This was by far the most satisfying accommodation during our trip to Switzerland. The apartment is beautifully designed, reflecting the host’s elegant and refined taste throughout. A superb apartment. It had everything we needed. Sadly we were too tired from the day’s walk to enjoy the street party.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivanka's condo. We were looking for something serene and peaceful, and we found exactly that! You have an amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains, and the huge balcony allows for a total submersion into the surrounding nature. I particularly enjoyed the hanging chair on the balcony. We also really appreciated that we had everything we needed; we did not have to want for anything. The space was spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. Ivanka was also extremely responsive, always under 10 minutes, and this was so lovely. She gave excellent suggestions and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Ivanka!

Wonderful studio apartment with a real bohemian vibe. So peaceful, a chance to experience a different kind of life to that in the big city.

Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

A very nice apartment. Check-in and check-out well organized. Great location. We liked it a lot. The street is very busy, so we had to keep the windows closed at night. The windows are well insulated, but you could still easily hear the traffic. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach, but we were able to lie down next to the water.

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

We had a great welcome from Jean Luc when we arrived, with ideas for walks in Evian and the surrounding area. The apartment is very well located in the center and Lake Evian. The city is nice. The apartment has everything you need (like at home). The garden is pleasant for naps. 😉 We had a great time and recommend.
