Beneree Cottage - overlooks the olive grove

Michelle and Peter are great hosts. Peter greeted us when we arrived and went above and beyond to help us find somewhere that was open for dinner. Beneree is set in beautiful surrounding and everything was very easy. If your looking for somewhere that is peaceful where the only sounds you hear are the birds and sheep. Then this is the place for you.

The accommodation is beautiful and so well appointed with lots of classy features. A lot of lthought went into the finishing of this property. The provisions of delicious breakfast items is a lovely feature also. It’s ideally located close to Millthorpe and a short drive to Orange and other nearby towns. Definitely recommend this accommodation as a place to stay in Central NSW.

Jo was a wonderful host. She was quick to respond when planning our getaway, prepared an amazing bowl of fruits and delicious breakfast supplies that were warmly received by guests and the home was perfect for our needs. It was raining and the home was spacious and so so cosy. We bought Jo a big bunch of flowers to say thank you for providing such a warm experience, however sadly they were taken home with us :( Again, thank you Jo for the wonderful stay. We would recommend you to our friends!

Everything about this home was perfect, we absolutely loved it. It’s got all you need if you’re keen to cook at home and you’re less than 10mins from town if you want to go out. The heating kept us warm, the beds were super comfy. The whole place is spacious, beautifully designed and has all you need. I can’t fault it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, the house itself was spacious with plenty of spots to relax and unwind and had everything we needed plus so much more. Our kids had an incredible time here. The property is well-fenced and expansive that the kids could explore and play safely on their own, which gave us parents some much-appreciated downtime. So many activities for them which was not on the listing and a nice surprise especially collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coop everyday and the toys inside and outside. Sue and Kieran were great hosts, always happy to help and checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed the gardens and surroundings. We had a misunderstanding with sleeping options. There was a queen bed, and and two folded up single camp beds, not a “single bed” as mentioned in the listing., which meant one of us had to sleep on camp bed, with a 5cm thin mattress. The kitchen had essential appliances including a very good microwave oven but no cooktop or bench space, again the listing said “full kitchen”, but in any case we luckily hadn’t planned to cook. No complaints about the place itself, which was very nice and would be perfect for a couple, or a couple and an extra who is young enough to find a camp bed comfortable. All this aside we enjoyed our stay and Philip always responded quickly to our communications.
