We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and well-kept house. The location is perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature — peaceful, quiet, and far from the noise of the city. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt very homey and welcoming. We didn’t find a corkscrew, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we would happily come back!

A great house, in a great location. It was a very nice holiday.

This home was beautiful, and has stunning views of the nearby fjord. We stayed one night and would have gladly spent several more. There is a hot tub, movie room, games, hair dryer, and multiple kitchen amenities. I was impressed by the number of spaces to relax and enjoy the views. I hope to be able to explore Strand more in the future.

Beautiful house in a perfect location in Stavanger

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

Really charming place, fun and imaginative decor, and the use of space in the design is fantastic. The kitchen, bathroom, etc, were very well furnished. And the host was really helpful and communicative.

Spacious, well equipped home in a quiet suburb of Flekkefjord. Easy private parking. the property was as clean as any normal house, with kitchen and bathroom spotless. Properly equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook full meals for a week. The covered balcony/deck area was delightful to eat outside. Alf was really responsive to questions, whilst never intruding. He left details of local shopping and things to do. This made an excellent base for a week exploring the area by motorcycle.

We had a great stay and can warmly recommend the place! The location was perfect – close to everything but still quiet. The apartment was clean and fresh with a lovely balcony where we were happy to sit and enjoy the nice view. The kitchen was well equipped, which made cooking easy, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, if not better!

Nice host. Nice apartment that met our needs. Tidy and clean. Nice areas nearby, trails and walking/bicycle paths. Located a little outside Stavanger, but easy to get there, for example, by train or bicycle. We had a car. I recommend the apartment if you do not need to be in the middle of the city.

We felt very comfortable and well rested at the beautiful hobby farm with Karin and Torfinn. Very quiet, well-kept and idyllic, lovingly furnished. We were abundantly supplied with eggs from the farm's own chickens! There is much to discover in the area! The tips from Karin and Torfinn were particularly helpful. We were very pleased to have been in contact with you! Recommended all around - we will be happy to come back!

Comfortable cabin in a great location

The cabin is located 30 minutes from Stavanger alone on an island. There is everything you need and it is really cozy both in the house and outside. The lake invites you to row and fish and there is also plenty to discover. The surroundings offer enough activities. Shops are also within 10 minutes. We had three very nice days!

The gravel road to the cabin is about 1km long and very steep. In snowy weather, 4x4 cars can drive up there and cars with snow chains. We didn't have snow chains and had to carry all the luggage up. It would be very difficult if you are in bad shape, or bad walking. The road doesn't get snow removal every day. The cabin is really nice and in cozy Norwegian style. Well-equipped kitchen. Firewood included. The host responds quickly and is very helpful.

Great cabin, clean and organized. Looks like the pictures, everyone had a good time. Memories for the life of the little ones, would gladly back again.

A very nice cabin in a beautiful place. Quiet and peaceful. Nice with fishing water right by the cabin. Beautiful hiking areas both by walking from the cabin and by a short drive. It was great that we got to borrow bed linen and towels, so we as a family of 5 did not have to bring this. We also needed equipment for the smallest, 2 years old. The children were happy to borrow toys and games. We received good instructions before we left and there was a small note in the cabin with information that was very good. We had a very nice stay and would gladly take the trip again on another occasion.

The cabin is a real insider tip for those seeking peace and relaxation. The view of the surrounding mountains is simply breathtaking – you could sit on the terrace for hours and enjoy nature. The place itself is cozy, clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. They always responded very quickly to our requests and gave us valuable tips for the area. You can tell right away that they care about the well-being of their guests. I highly recommend this cabin and can't wait to come back. A real gem in the middle of Norwegian nature!
