Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Birch Bay

I’m in a long distance relationship and my partner and I like to do airbnbs during his visits here to check out different areas-I knew he would love the accessibility to the trails from Dawns house. My 6yr old son LOVED the downstairs and bunk bed despite how cold it was. The pellet stove was a bit intimidating to figure out so we left it alone. Downstairs did have a bit of a cat pee smell-my kiddo wasn’t bothered because his allergies were so bad he couldn’t smell (not a pet allergy, just the wild cottonwood this year), but it was hard for me to stay down there. The hot tub was an added bonus, it probably could’ve been cleaned a bit better before our stay but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall beautiful home and comfortable stay.

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a beautiful farmhouse. It has everything you need. The kitchen was great for our morning breakfast. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Check in and out was very easy.

There isn't much to say here other than simply stunning. Ashley & Brittany have created a beautiful sanctuary perfect for a weekend getaway on Lummi Island, a lovely and peaceful location. The place is simply perfect, functional, spacious, ideal balance of high touch and at-home-feel finishes. One standout experience for both of us was watching the birds feeding during low tide, tons of eagles, herons, and other interesting birds. 10/5 stars.

We had such a lovely and relaxing We had such a lovely time at Charles and Kristy’s, exactly what we needed for a getaway from city life for a few days! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home, and oh the views!! When not enjoying the serenity of the home and its amenities, there was plenty to do in the charming downtown area of Friday Harbor and all throughout the island. Us humans and our pup loved every moment of our stay!

Staying at Cindy’s was great overall. Only very minor inconvenience when arriving/departing is having to find somewhere to park on street so you can access the suit to then access the parking. But location and cleanliness made up for that for sure. Cindy was pleasant to talk to and helpful. I appreciated there was coffee for the morning. We were a party of 5 and we all fit fine in the suite. The skytrain was a bit noisy through the night but didn’t bother me. The place is exactly as described, view is nice, location is perfect and you can’t beat that. Will stay there again for sure.

Great central location. We enjoyed exploring the area. Sohee was extremely responsive and helpful. She provided very detailed instructions that made check in and check out simple.

Our stay in this condo was very good. The photos matched the actual surroundings and the hosts were wonderful to work with. The unit is located very close to the Chinatown Train Station (which makes access to & from the airport easy) and a stop on the "Hop On-Hop Off" bus tour very convenient. We were forewarned about areas of the city that were experiencing a lot of homeless people so that we could make sure that any walks were headed in the right direction. Very pleased overall.

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

We enjoyed our stay! Wish we’d had more time. Our kids loved the indoor pool, and we had fun exploring the local area!

Perfect place to stay for our group with 4 adults and two kids. We loved the views!

Had a great time at Liz’s condo! Very clean and had everything you would need. Spacious and full of natural light, we had plenty of room for four adults and two dogs. It was handy to have a green space where the (leashed) dogs could do their business right out the front door, and there is a beach and a .5 mi paved path just across the street from the condo complex. Walked to the brewery down the street (dog friendly) and could’ve walked to several restaurants in the area. We were biking in Bellingham, and that was only about a 15 minute drive as well. Thanks again!

Spotlessly clean. Fantastic apartment for our family of 5. Amazing location right next to the sky train and Rogers Arena (highly recommend going to see an ice hockey game!). Supermarket just round the corner. Lovely views, the apartment has everything you need and we made good use of the swimming pool and hot tub which is really big. Overall we had a fantastic stay and the host was very responsive.

My return stay at Mark’s was just as great as the first. I will definitely be back!

Super cute suite. Would definitely book again if staying in the area. Could hear the kids minimally but not often and not loud, just their pitter patter of little feet. Not a bother for us at all. Highly recommend

This home, in our opinion, was ideally located for our first trip to Vancouver. The peacefulness and gorgeous views from the rooftop were by far our favorite aspect of the place. Everything was very clean, beds were very comfy and bathrooms clean as well. James was very responsive with any of our questions and was very communicative about house rules and so forth. Would love to stay here again. Thanks, James!

Beautiful place, super clean, great communication with host. Met our needs very well. Don't plan on preparing much food in the kitchen - minimal dorm type facility, but that worked out for this visit.

My dog Lucy and I had a great stay. It suited us—one adult and a small dog—perfectly. The house isn’t much bigger than a postage stamp, but it is perfectly outfitted and spotless. The best part for us was the fully fenced backyard with a big lawn—plenty of room for Lucy to run around. We loved the propane fire pit. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, once you figure out the shortcut. This little gem is perfect for one adult and 1-2 smaller companions, whether children or furry friends. Or maybe 2 smaller adults 🙂. Tyler, the host, was on-the-spot responsive. I would certainly rent this home again.

We enjoyed Clay’s place. The price is so reasonable. The place is packed with toiletries and useful items; the kind of items you forget and then have to go back out and buy. We didn’t need any but if we had, they’d have been there. The roof top deck was just lovely. The yard is beautifully maintained and artistic. I saw and heard so, so many birds! For a bird nerd that was a real treat: the flowering plants attracted big, fuzzy bumble butts. The sounds from the yard were such an added bonus for me. The home is a short walk from the water. We loved staying with you. Thank you.
