Apartment holiday rentals in Bern-Mittelland District

Beautiful location in a valley surrounded by green, and easily accessible to the mountains and lakes for spring hiking. Spacious main room, with a modern bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. Monika and her family were lovely, really helpful. Our two kids enjoyed playing on the trampoline and bikes and seeing the rabbits! We didn’t use the second bedroom as our children were too small (under 5), but it would be great for slightly older kids.

It was so, so good. I moved around a lot during my 13-night trip in Switzerland. The condition of the accommodation was the best!! It's hard to go up because it's on the 3rd floor, but if I come again, I think I'll come here! The location of the accommodation is also the best. Is it about a 5-minute walk to the Isstein House, Cathedral, and Clock Tower?? Bern Bear Park. Rose Garden also within 20 minutes on foot?? The location is amazing! There's a small park with a nice view and atmosphere near the cathedral, so I bought a sandwich and enjoyed it. I also recommend going to Gurten Park! Juliana was also very kind and the response speed was really fast, so I was able to resolve my questions right away! It was so good, and I was satisfied! My parents loved it, too! I wish I could go again.❤️

We had a great time at Margrit and Roger's. We lacked nothing. The view over the fields to the mountains is beautiful. We were able to watch Milan and the cat every day. Sometimes a deer or a fox. From the apartment, you can easily reach Bern and Thun via S-Bahn or car. We traveled a lot by bike and so it is only 25 minutes to the center of Bern. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Margit and Roger once again for their warm welcome and support on many issues. Thank you very much. I'm sure we'll meet again. 🙂

We felt completely comfortable with Nathalie and Adrian! They have a beautiful home where you feel welcome from the first moment. Everything was very well maintained, lovingly furnished and radiates a warm, pleasant atmosphere. You can immediately tell that heart and style come together here. Mischa and Matthias reply quickly and are sweet hosts. The flat was also lovely and cozy. It had enough cooking utensils, towels ... anything needed for comfortable stays. Beds were clean. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Thank you, Mischa and Matthias! 👍

It was a good place to stay. We enjoyed the place.

The flat is in a great location -- a. quiet neighborhood that's an easy walk to the train station, to main bus lines, to grocery stores, to Bern's "Old City," to a main street with coffee shops and cafes, and to the river. I arrived by train, and found the flat easily thanks to Jean's great instructions. The bedding and the bed itself were extremely comfortable. The water in the tub/shower was immediately hot and there was plenty of it. I would happily stay here again! My only complaint is that there was no coffee provided to use in the little espresso maker (though there was a jar of instant coffee). I considered buying some at a grocery store but did not, as I would have had to buy much more than I needed.

Just wanted to write a few words here. I cannot describe how lucky I feel to have met these people, and stayed at this gorgeous place. Made an amazing trip so much better. The transportation and shopping of the accommodation is very convenient.It is very close to the station and there are many shopping shops nearby.Nice clean, big and nice room.The room facilities are all new.It is well stocked with everyday items and cookware.The hosts were also very kind and friendly and very quick to respond to messages every time!

We had an excellent stay at Werner's place. The house was so neat and clean and the kitchen had the essential utensils and the host was very responsive

The apartment had a super nice location, right at the lake. It is so nice to wake up with this view (and hearing the waves). Located within walking distance of a bakery and a small supermarket. Well connected with public transport. Well appointed apartment. The noise from the main street (at the opposite side of the sleeping room) is easily "shut off" by closing the doors between the kitchen-living room and the sleeping room.

The stay was great, everything worked smoothly! Patrick always writes back very quickly! He met us halfway with the check-out!

The house is beautifully designed with everything you could possibly need — fully equipped kitchen, comfortable spaces, and a view that takes your breath away. It truly felt like a real retreat. Our host was a true Superhost — kind, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. You can feel the care they put into every detail. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Spiez!

View of the lake. The apartment is charming, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities one needs for a family. Conveniently located to Interlaken and other activities (caves, water sports, etc.). We brought in groceries and food from Interlaken. There were a few options close by but we did not try them. The hosts recommended a good group for paragliding.

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

Dominic’s place was as described - lots of space, great amenities (we particularly enjoyed the projector and large pull-down screen for a movie night in), neighborhood was lovely, quiet and residential and lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. It was on the top floor loft but there was a well-functioning lift in the building, which was great for our bags. Check-in was very smooth as Dominic had left very clear instructions with photos on how to get in and he was always responsive with messages.

The host was so very kind and helpful. Their home was beautiful and peaceful. It was a perfect little escape on the mountain! The view from the yard was breathtaking and the hot tub was a wonder amenity to have after a long trip filled with hiking !
