What a wonderful house! The butler was so considerate. The outdoor hot spring water was very hot and the fireplace in the room kept it warm. Looking out of the window at the falling snowflakes, this was an unforgettable night for me in Tekapo.

Debbie’s place is perfect in every way we could ever imagine. it’s of a good size for us a family of 3, very clean and super cosy. the heated floor was fantastic, especially for us during winter since it was -4° on some nights while we were there. even 4nights wasn’t enough, we felt right at home. we highly recommend Debbie’s place, without a doubt. simply perfect!

This was an incredibly stylish, comfortable and well equipped home. We really loved our stay here although it was short. It was perfectly located for our trip to Mt Cook. Di was also very responsive to issues raised during our stay. I would highly recommend.

The room is very close to Lake Tikapo. The room is clean and tidy. The information booklets in the room are beautiful. I will stay here again next time.

Gaye was friendly and responsive. We arrived early and he was flexible and allowed us to check in early. This was our last night before heading back to Christchurch. It was a restful stay.

I need to get the landlord's consent before booking. Before booking, I sent a message to the landlord that my wife and I are taking my mother and daughter to the South Island of New Zealand. After the landlord agreed, I booked and paid. Because this is the first time we have booked a room through the Airbnb App in New Zealand. We used to stay in a hotel. When using the App, I did not notice that the number of guests in the system showed 1 person. I neglected to change it. On the day of check-in, the host sent me a message, and I found out. I thought I had sent a message to the host to confirm that we were staying for 4 people around the island before booking. This would solve the problem. I don't know why I had to pay an additional 35 US dollars. I will be more cautious when using the App in the future. Leanne's house is very comfortable, very clean, the surrounding environment is very quiet, and it is very convenient to go to Cook Hill. I recommend it to travelers who need to stay here😊

Our stay was made extra special as there was heaps of snow and it snowed while we were there. Our hosts were very flexible with check out times due to road closures due to snow and ice conditions. The views from the apartment are just stunning. Only thing we would suggest is making sure a shovel is available to shovel the snow so you can park, we had to park on the road, otherwise a beautiful location and amazing stay. thank you.

Loved our stay at Lu’s. The location is just far enough from the main town stretch to feel peaceful, but entirely walkable. Space was just right for us as a family of 4. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the heaters at first and Lu was responsive and helped diagnose.

My mum and I recently stayed here for a couple of nights on a holiday in New Zealand. There is a beautiful view of the lake and mountains from the living room. It’s very centrally located. You can easily walk to the lake or into town. We also did the nearby Cowan’s Hill trail which had beautiful scenery and views. The property is very clean, well appointed and maintained. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Our hosts were very responsive both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time in Tekapo at Lisa’s AirBnb! Lisa is an incredible host, provided us with so many local recommendations and got the hot tub ready for us every night, but always gave us privacy once it was ready. The hot tub was so blissful and was incredible for star gazing! We weren’t at the Airbnb much, other than for using the hot tub and sleeping so the size of it didn’t really bother us, but a heads up for others that it is quite small inside and was pretty tight for us as we both had large suitcases. I wouldn’t let the size of the Airbnb put you off though, as it’s a great Airbnb!
