Very well located in the heart of Chinon in a beautiful building with character. We would recommend this listing and would be ready to go back.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, almost too short! Well received, we had the good surprise of having access to a larger than expected accommodation, with all the comforts you wanted. The place is peaceful and we were able to enjoy the exteriors during the evening. The plus is of course access to the SPA with a very nice outdoor pool! The one-room apartment is really very nice and exceptionally tastefully furnished. You can see that an architect with a love of detail was at work here. We felt very at home for a week and enjoyed Saumur and the surrounding area from here. The apartment is fully recommended without restrictions. Only the entrance and the staircase are unsuitable for people with mobility impairments.

Very good stay in this beautiful renovated apartment well equipped and richly decorated. The neighborhood is quiet and at the foot of the castle. Jehan was attentive and very responsive.

Fantastic centrally located.Its around 30 min walk from station. Within a few minutes walk there are plenty of eateries. The bakery opposite is great. Saumur is a very walkable town, you don’t need a car. The apartment is quiet and well equipped. We will return.

We had a very good stay with friends in this beautiful barn, tastefully renovated. The living room is spacious and the garden is huge and quiet, perfect for children. We had a great weekend at Sylvie's home. The accommodation is very large, clean, nice, and really quiet although we are in the middle of the village. Basic necessities are provided (sponge, dishwashing liquid, dishcloth, garbage bag, dishwasher tablet...) The welcome is warm, we recommend it!

Excellent 5-day stay. Marie and Bruno were lovely, they took the time to show us around and explain everything to us. They are very accommodating and attentive to prepare the stay in advance. Large house, clean, perfect for a large family with children. The large garden and its many activities (swimming pool, swing, trampoline, hut, orchard) kept the children busy on their own. There are also many indoor toys. A treat for the kids. Superb plancha for 14 people. Nice beds. However, there is only one bathroom. With 14, you have to get organized, but it can be done. In short, a success!

I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

Very nice accommodation, consistent with the photos. Only a small downside for the underground parking spaces, we could not access them. And unfortunately, the response time to our message was long. but otherwise the location is really great! and quiet neighborhood

Bonjour, We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights, very nice host, helpful, responsive, with good advice on what to do in the surrounding area. The apartment was very good, good location, quite large. Two small downsides, the key box to collect the keys is not on the landing but on the other side of the bridge, and the insulation of the apartment which is not perfect, but that does not prevent sleeping or otherwise. Very pleasant stay, in a very pleasant apartment and a very pleasant host too. I would highly recommend it
