Castle holiday rentals in Beaujolais

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au château. Le cadre est magnifique, on y serait bien resté plus longtemps si nous en avions eu l'occasion. Beaucoup d'activités sont proposées au sein même du domaine : piscine, sauna, jaccuzi, ballades à vélo, massages etc... Nous avons été accueilli avec notre chiots qui a vraiment pu s'amuser dans le grand parc. Agréablement surpris par le restaurent qui était délicieux. En bref, je recommande le château des Ayes à 100% pour un weekend ressourçant.

Expérience tout à fait agréable! L'accueil de Murielle était parfait ainsi que le petit-déjeuner préparé par ses soins. L'endroit est magnifique et c'est peu de le dire! Nous avions la piscine rien que pour nous. Literie impeccable. Nous aimerions revenir !

We hadden een heerlijk wijnweekend met vrienden in een prachtig kader. Perfect gelegen om wijnhuizen te bezoeken en de mooie regio te ontdekken. We hadden prachtig weer dus konden koninklijk dineren met zicht op het kasteel, de vallei en een prachtige zonsondergang.

This beautiful suite in the Provost's House of the old abbey is so peaceful! The building is full of history (stone spiral staircase! huge carved chairs!) and you can't beat the location on an ISLAND! Don't miss the bakery (Jocteur le Boulanger de l'Île Barbe) located just off the island over the footbridge. Note that there is no access to the historic abbey chapel as far as we could tell. Mary was a perfect host and accommodated our very late arrival at midnight on a weekday. Follow directions and access is easy to find! We loved this historic suite.

My husband and I found a very historic old castle building in a quiet country side. Christine was a pleasant and charming host giving us insight information about the castle as well as giving advice for things to do in the region. We had private use of the kitchen and terrace where we spent our evenings drinking burgundy wine overlooking green fields. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the stay very much. We will definitely come again. Elaine & Helmut

Court séjour , superbe environnement, bonne expérience à refaire mais avec un peu plus de temps 😃.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le château de Henri. L’architecture du lieu est remarquable, et le cadre extérieur est un véritable écrin de verdure. La piscine est un vrai atout, idéale pour se détendre en fin de journée. Nous avions choisi la chambre avec balcon, ce qui a vraiment ajouté une belle touche à notre expérience : la vue y est imprenable et renforce encore le caractère unique du château. Seul petit bémol : le petit-déjeuner, un peu en deçà du reste de l’expérience, qui mériterait d’être à la hauteur du cadre exceptionnel. Nous recommandons ce lieu, aussi bien pour les couples que pour les familles en quête d’un séjour paisible et dépaysant.

Endroit hors du temps, sentiment d’être loin de l’agitation de la ville tout en étant au cœur de Lyon. A découvrir !

Un havre de paix à proximité du centre ville, dépaysant et idéal pour un week-end !

Our family of four with two daughters stayed here and had a very nice time. We stayed in the Empire suite which is actually two bedrooms. There are other room options in Henri’s listings, but this was good for us. It was nice to feel actually on vacation and to just relax rather than running around in the cities on the other parts of our trip. Outdoors, our daughters enjoyed the ping-pong table and trampoline and swing. We also used the swimming pool and went for a walk through the woods around the property then later spent time in the library exploring the old books. I enjoyed sitting on the outdoor table in the morning, enjoying the beautiful views. The castle Château is very beautiful and well maintained. The hosts are very attentive and kind. Thank you for the wonderful visit.

We hebben hier als gezin met 5 jongens een super leuke tijd gehad. Heerlijk ruime plek en met plezier met zn allen verstoppertje gespeeld. Geen luxe plek/inrichting/voorzieningen, maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding was echt prima. Heerlijke omgeving tegen het bos aan. Het huis was boven verwachting lekker warm door houtverwarming en openhaard. Ook lekker warm bad en douche. Vriendelijk contact met beheerder en eigenaresse. Overall erg tevreden!

Fabienne was an excellent host! The grounds were amazing on the vineyard and the park area was serene. Had two peaceful, quiet days in the residence and surrounding area. Would visit again without any doubt where to stay. Thank you so much for a great experience at your location.

Super séjour chez Cécile . Notre aventure au chateau fut une très bonne expérience. Calme , beauté du parc , grand volume , tout est équipé pour toute la famille . Un grand plus : ceuillette de cerises sur l'arbre !!!! Merci pour l'accueil et pour le vin , juste délicieux ! À une prochaine fois ...

Such an amazing experience!! The hosts were very friendly, the room was quirky and very tidy/clean, the grounds were gorgeous and the dogs welcomed us warmly on arrival. Highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant as the food was delicious and made our stay!

Une maison ferme confortable et bien équipée, nichée dans un vallon verdoyant entouré de forêt, univers égayé par des animaux qui ont fait le bonheur des enfants…. et des parents. Une mention particulière pour l’accueil de Tania et Bernard Les enfants n’oublieront pas la visite des animaux en 4x4 avec Bernard…

Nous avons passé un moment reposant dans un château de famille magnifique et très bien entretenu. Gabrielle a été très réactive, disponible et arrangeante sur l’heure d’arrivée et de départ. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, la chambre impeccable. Gabrielle propose des planches apéritives que nous avons eu le plaisir de déguster. Je recommande vivement ce lieu.
