Holiday rentals with beach access in Beara Peninsula

Really amazing apartment, the stove in the bedroom is a great touch and very relaxing. The place was ultra modern and immaculately clean!!

we had the most fantastic stay! the location is stunning, waking up to the sound of the sea and taking a swim first thing in the morning was an added bonus. the accommodation was comfortable and full of character, everything you could need is provided. the bar and restaurant next door are just amazing!

I stayed at Brian's place for six weeks and was looking for peace and quite so I could read and reflect. I also like walking, particularly in wilderness areas. The location, being just outside Killarney was perfect. The flat was private and the Killarney National Park, which is extensive, was only a short drive away. I also used this accommodation as a base for visiting other places: Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Tralee and Cork, which were not that far away. The trains are great, and I used them to travel to Tralee and Cork. The flat itself was ideal with bedroom, kitchen-sitting room and bathroom, which had all the necessary things. Heating, internet and TV were excellent. Brian and his wife were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions I had. At the same time, they respected my privacy. I had a wonderful stay there and highly recommend to others.

We based ourselves in Kenmare for 3 days while touring around Ireland. Tessa’s cottage was comfortable, had great facilities and extras that Tessa had left to make it a great stay. She was good with her communication and check in was easy. The cottage was convenient to town if you didn’t want to drive. Quiet location. Thanks Tessa we really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge.

Very pleasant contact with Margaret, very fast response time to questions. Beautiful location with sea view with separate small terrace for the sundowner. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and very clean. Margaret had provided us with tea, coffee (French Press), yogurt, granola, rolls, cookies, etc., which saved us the trip to the supermarket. To explore the area on foot, you often have to walk on the road (little traffic) - Margaret has hung yellow safety vests in the closet to increase the safety of her guests. We stayed with her for 2 days after our arrival in Ireland.

As an American staying in Ireland for the first time I was very excited to come across this perfectly located unit in the heart of clonakilty. Small kitchen had all amenities required (no dishwasher tho) but I learned quickly that that was part of the charm. Front door was a bit sticky but its an older building so it is as to be expected. Apartment was clean and comfortable. I had a learning curve with the shower unit which I never did get right but that's probably on me. Beige carpeting throughout made taking shoes off immediately a requirement. I would recommend that as part of the cleaning process all streaming services are logged out of as I had a bit of a difficulty getting into mine until I was able to log last guest logged out. Extra bath towels for longer staying guests and paper towels in the kitchen would be helpful for cleanup. Hosts were very responsive and you cannot beat the location- views outside the bedroom windows were divine! I recommend and would stay again!!

Our stay was just great including a lovely welcome from Mary and her little dog Ellie. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well appointed with all amenities. We stayed during wonderful weather and enjoyed fantastic views across the water towards the Ring of Kerry. Everything was very clean and the view from the excellent bath in the main bedroom was out of this world. Mary went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and even suggested a better stress-free way for my friend to get to Dublin via Kerry Airport - including driving her there herself! She had also written out ideas for exploring the area which we followed and were so glad we had. Thoroughly recommended!

Jane’s haven along with Oscar the friendly dog and her two donkeys made this Airbnb a top destination. Immersed in nature my daily walk to west cove and my sea swims in a nearby secluded beach will resource me for a long time to come. Huge thank you to Jane she keeps her property so well and a delight to see her pottery and art around the place. Also extra treat if you happen to be there at the weekend for her almond croissants! Highly recommend stay 💚

Great place to stay for vising West Cork. A bit isolated so driving was a must but very peaceful and the stars are amazing at night. The wifi and phone reception were the only slight issues and they didn't really impact anything. Will definitely come back again. Pat was lovely too and really easy to deal with.

Great accommodation! Everything was just as described. The location is fantastic, and the view from the kitchen is simply amazing! A direct view of the sea, and the sheep sleep right next door :) Restaurants, pubs, and small shops are all within easy walking distance. James gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the apartment.

This was our first time to Ireland, and so glad we chose the Dingle Peninsula. This listing is exactly as shown on AirBnB, but in reality is more beautiful. It is very spacious, with a lovely great room (kitchen/dining) where we spent a lot of our time, but the side living room made a great jigsaw puzzle room. The laundry was also spacious, and once we Americans figured out all the electronics of the kitchen and laundry we were quite satisfied. We three couples each had a highly satisfactory bedroom and bath. The walk from the house to the "Star Wars Beach" gave us a chance to get to know many lambs and their mommies (it was lambing season), along with great exercise. The fresh air was so therapeutic. While it was a long trip to get out there from Dublin, it was well worth it. The 30 minute drive to Dingle was only a challenge because we had a van, and had to get used to its size on narrow roads. And Dingle itself is delightful. HIGHLY recommended.

we stayed one night, but the charms of the cottage made feel us home in a second. Gretta bubbly personality and warmth make us welcome and supported. she gave us amazing tips on local activities. the space is even better than the pictures

This is one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The photos don’t do it justice, the home, grounds & view of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking ! Everything you need is on hand, we were inspired! Fresh flowers & comfy blankets, books, every detail was taken care of. We did not want to leave. Gavin was friendly and gave us great tips & suggestions for exploring this incredible area. We would give 10 stars if we could!!! Book this extraordinary stay.!

From the moment we stepped onto the path to the cottage, we were transported to a place of tranquility and beauty. Greeted by yellow and red roses, and an incredible view of pasture, harbor, and hills, we wished we had more time to spend here. Shelagh and Joe are responsive and attentive hosts. They were generous with ideas on memorable walks from the cottage and where to eat out. The cottage includes all the amenities needed. It’s cozy, clean, and welcoming. While outdoors on property, we spent most of time between the comfortable patio and the bench by the Rectory, each with spectacular views

Several pleasant interactions with Frances prior to arrival. We were greeted by Ed who shared history of family home and nearby recommendations of attractions and restaurants, all which were excellent. Beautifully maintained and furnished, unmatched views of the water, and felt like home. Also included wine, eggs, cheese and crackers, snacks, several coffee and tea selections. Our stay here was the best part of our two week trek though England, Scotland and Ireland and truly was magical!

We expected a beautiful accomodation from the pictures but still were blown away when we arrived. The house itself is beautifully decorated but the real prize is the beautiful view - especially from the upper floor. We spent all our evenings in front of that window, marveling at the waves breaking on the cliffs and the beautiful sunset. We also were happy that there was no T.V. since that would have been an unnecessary distraction in a place such as this. Many thanks to Deirdre for her quick and direct help and thanks to Susan for having us. We had a wonderful time.

It was the perfect space for my 2 days in Dingle. Eileen was a welcoming host and she made me feel right at home. The location was a short 5-10min walk from the main part of town and harbor. So many coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and shops to choose from. I would highly recommend this spot!

We rented John's place for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. It was perfect for our needs and was close to many attractions. It was very clean and bright and John was a great host. He even made us homemade cookies!

Absolutely perfect stay! This apartment exceeded all expectations — beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Set in one of the most stunning spots in West Cork, it’s the ideal place to unwind. Anna is a truly exceptional host; her warm welcome was one of the highlights of our trip. The freshly baked scones waiting for us on arrival were such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. I had brought a travel cot for our baby, but ended up leaving it in the car when I saw the gorgeous, cosy cot Anna had already prepared — it felt like a home from home. Every detail had been thought of, and the whole experience was so restful and special. We feel lucky to have stayed here and genuinely hope we’ll have the chance to return. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place to stay. The view from the apartment and surrounding area was breathtaking. Bridie provided great instructions to get there as well as a wonderful recommendation for dinner. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer!!

Lovely coastal home with beautiful views. The hike was cozy and private. I would definitely recommend this location and would come back for another stay.

James was very responsive and answered any question I had. We had a wedding in the local church in Clonakilty and James allowed us to check in early before the ceremony. The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything we needed. I will definitely stay again if I’m back in Clonakilty as the location in the town was excellent.

We had a wonderful time on Valencia island, with so many things to see and do in the area. The place is situated in a quiet area, with pleasant views. The home was comfortable and convenient. We’d be happy to visit again.
