We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. Je recommande à 100% ce logement. Céline notre hôte était réactive et très amicale. Toutes les instructions étaient claires et le logement conforme aux photos et à nos attentes. Très bien situé et très bien équipé, nous étions avec des enfants en bas âges, nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait. Merci beaucoup pour cette parenthèse normande dans ce très joli cadre.

One of the best AIRBNB I got. The House is truly a gem, with a great pool. Perfect for 2-4 persons and to discover Normandie.

We spent 3 nights here during our tour of Normandy. Nathalie's property is absolutely stunning. Her garden was in full bloom for our visit and it's so well cared for and tended. The cottage was perfect for our large group and Nathalie was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend staying with her. You won't regret it!

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

Leur accueil chaleureux nous a fait nous sentir immédiatement bien.Le logement, spacieux et d’une propreté irréprochable, est parfait pour se ressourcer dans un cadre calme. Sa localisation est idéale pour explorer la région, avec des restaurants à proximité, notamment à Arromanches-sur-Mer et à Bayeux, à seulement 5 km. Chaque matin, Chantal et Jean Charle nous ont préparé un délicieux petit déjeuner, mettant en avant des produits frais, accompagnés d’un excellent gâteau fait maison. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur générosité et pour avoir rendu notre séjour si mémorable!

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely 3 days in Claire’s cottage. We enjoyed the local cider, jam and nuts left as a welcome treat. Claire was quick to respond when we had questions and gave us some good recommendations for local restaurants. We would highly recommend staying at Claire’s if you are travelling to Bayeux, it is a quick drive into town. Thanks for welcoming us and being patient with our attempts to speak French.

Our family of 8 found the home to be exceptionally great. The accommodation is amazing with lots of room including the kitchen, baths, dining room, and roomy bedrooms. The back yard is great with many nice touches. The separate yellow bedroom is great for being so close to the main house. We were greeted by Marcel and his family at check-in, they live next door so always easy to communicate with. Parking for two cars reserved directly in front of the property was a nice touch. The host added some nice additions such as cold drinks, coffee and even champagne!! Highly recommend for a family traveling together!

Un cadre exceptionnel et authentique, rénové avec beaucoup de goût par le propriétaire, qui habite sur place. Excellente communication de la part de l'hôte, qui est disponible et qui nous a accueilli dès la sortie de la voiture. Je recommande!

Maison idéale pour découvrir la région ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 nuits dans la jolie maison de Carole et Marc, située près de Bayeux – un emplacement parfait pour visiter les plages du Débarquement. La maison est très propre, confortable, bien équipée, et le calme des lieux est vraiment appréciable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la terrasse, très agréable pour se détendre en fin de journée. L’arrivée était simple grâce à une boîte à clés, et nous avons ensuite eu le plaisir de rencontrer Carole et Marc, très accueillants et attentionnés. Nous étions une famille avec deux ados, et même si la maison ne dispose que d’une seule salle d’eau (ouverte sur la chambre), cela ne nous a pas posé de souci particulier – il suffit juste de s’organiser un peu. Un grand merci à Carole et Marc pour leur accueil – nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

Nous recherchions un endroit calme , à la campagne , pour 2 nuits pour 3 adultes, pour visiter la région. contrat plus que rempli !! le logement est spacieux , moderne , très agréable et au calme et Jipe très accueillant et réactif. Nous recommandons plus plus

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? Nicolas m'a accueilli avec gentillesse et chaleur. L'entrée et la sortie se sont déroulé très simplement sur une relation basé sur la confiance et ce fût très agréable. Le logement est très bien situé Bayeux centre accessible à pied, proche sortie national pour aller faire des visites, commerce à proximité. La cour est sécurisée et l'environnement est très calme. On avait trois voitures et on a toutes pu les garer gratuitement au porte du logement dans la rue.

This home was the perfect blend of private and quiet while still close to the town center. The home was cozy and had plenty of space for everyone. Emmanuelle and Romain were extremely kind and welcoming and answered all of our questions. Can’t recommend this home Enough!

Easy to walk to town where there are great restaurants All bedrooms and bathrooms superb. Kitchen very good and lounge areas perfect

Benoît was an excellent host, with great communication. His property was in the perfect location for our explorations along the coast of Normandy visiting the beaches, cemeteries and museums etc. I Would definitely recommend this property without hesitation.
