It could hardly be better! I was wondering why the place isn't booked months in advance. Great location, wonderful apartment and even better hosts. Thank you for the wonderful time!

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

I knew this was going to be a unique experience stayed in a historic home, but I didn't realize how comfortable and relaxing it would be. The home is so quiet and has all the modern conveniences integrated in a subtle way such that it does not ruin the ambience. Carmen and her daughter Melissa were so welcoming and hospitable. They not only helped us find good places to eat and experience nature, but they helped us find our ancestors in the local villages. This is next level hospitality. My only regret is that I didn't stay here longer!

Great location, very quiet environment with lots of nature around, the charm of the cottage/accommodation is a dream, the check in went smoothly and quickly. We were traveling by motorcycle and for us it was simply a dream, on roads and activities from the accommodation. Very nice hostess, she took the time to give us information. We would be happy to book it again and again. 😊🙋🏼‍♀️

It was a simple, uncomplicated stay where everything just fit. Wonderful care, quick answers, always helpful and available. I was particularly impressed by the very tasteful and modern clean apartment and bathroom furnishings. The kitchen was really equipped with everything you need, super clean and neatly arranged. Even a dishwasher was available. The absolutely perfect vacation to relax. We can only recommend it from the heart and will gladly come back

We were there as a family with two children and a dog, the host was very friendly, everything was clean and the restaurant next door was also delicious. In the area there were many opportunities to walk and a special recommendation is the wild garden near Furth in the forest.

We booked Lucie's place on the occasion of my wife's 30th birthday - and it was just perfect! Already upon arrival, we immediately felt comfortable: lovingly furnished, sparkling clean and with many small details that make the stay special. Lucie is a wonderful host - warm, attentive and reliable. You can tell how much passion there is in the space. The surroundings are fantastically quiet and invite you to switch off - exactly what we were looking for. We have been able to use this airbnb for 3 weeks. The many positive reviews actually speak for themselves. We have enjoyed. For those who love a beautiful quiet environment with a lovely nature that invites you to walk and/or mountain bike, this is "the place to be" In addition, you have a beautiful authentic (in my opinion) large German house located on a hill and that is equipped with all comforts. Enjoy the view from the balcony and the magnificent silence. Unfortunately, we residents of the Rotterdam area have not been used to this for years and will certainly miss it. Hans is a perfect host who responds quickly, kindly and adequately to any questions. His explanation of the route to follow, the intake and any other possibilities was clear. Too bad that a few important attractions (natural pool, toboggan run) in Grafenau were closed in late May, early June. It will not surprise you that I highly recommend the house, location and surroundings

We spent a weekend at Ferdinand's and it was wonderful. The surroundings and the tranquility were particularly nice. Everything you need or want is available. It was all very clean. We felt super comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended by us.

Everything was great. Stephan's parents were extremely accommodating and nothing was missing. But there's something to consider for tall people. Duck by the doors :-). It is an old farmhouse and in the past the people were smaller. The ceiling height is great. But you can tell from my comment that everything was great, because if the door height is already addressed and nothing else, it can only have been good:-)

A beautiful house with great views and amenities. The ideal place for a break in nature. The house is super equipped, so you feel right at home :)

The cottage is very nicely furnished, in a small village where it is incredibly quiet. Gas grill, kitchens equipped with induction, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, just great. The hot tub and bathrooms are clean. Wood ready by the hot tub. The heater could use a shade from the road, but there's so little traffic that it didn't matter so much. Overall, we were happy, everything was in perfect order.

It‘s really a beautiful place to stay and it can be used as a hub for exploring the region.

Lovely place, great location

We were three families with one small child each. Accommodation was easy to find and with personal key exchange. A kitchen with space for everyone, the bedrooms all clean and two bathrooms so we all had enough space. The terrace is a highlight because of the great view and completely fenced. And it is a meadow with a swing right next to the property, probably the highlight of our children. We were a bit of a walk and hiking trails are some directly accessible from the property. We really enjoyed the weekend!

We (2 adults, 2 children) felt very welcome and comfortable in Barbara's little paradise for a week. A beautifully restored, well-equipped and charming cottage, quietly located on the edge of the forest. For the little ones, there was a sandbox, a swing and a "bathtub", so we could also just make ourselves comfortable in the deck chair... The contact with Barbara and Günter was really nice and there were also helpful tips for excursions in the area. We would be happy to come back to paradise next to hell (adjacent nature reserve)

This was one of our best experiences: David and his family are wonderful hosts—always attentive, generous, and welcoming. The apartment is cozy, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We can wholeheartedly recommend it. We came to explore the Bohemian region and to trace some family roots, and David and his family were incredibly helpful throughout. His guidance and recommendations were invaluable and spot-on. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We spent a wonderful Christmas vacation at Daniela and Stefan's place (4 adults, 3 children). The house is very nice and cozy. Kitchen utensils and other accessories are sufficiently available and nothing is missing. We felt very comfortable right from the start. The cozy beds are worth mentioning, we slept wonderfully :-) A very nice gesture on arrival is the delicious cake and filled basket with all kinds of goodies. The hosts were very helpful, always available for questions, gave us good tips for excursions and helped us with Christmas shopping. The children were able to romp around in the snow right by the house (sled and bob are available) and the parents enjoyed the sauna. Towels and bathrobes are available. All in all, a perfect vacation. Daniela and Stefan's place is highly recommended.

Thanks to Sophie for a great start with Airbnb. The place is really tip top, a huge garden and a total of even 4 bedrooms. The highlight is the hot tub. From the accommodation, you can get everywhere in the Bavarian Forest very quickly. A real insider tip. We'll be back for sure
