Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bay of Kotor

We spent a lovely week at the beautiful River House, it is in a great location and in beautiful surroundings. Katarina was a wonderful host providing clear and timely communications, keeping in touch throughout. We were spoilt by mum who lives nearby bringing treats. I would highly recommend River House as a home from home in Mlini.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und hat super für uns als kleine Familie gepasst. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick über die Bucht. In wenigen Minuten war man, einen kleinen Berg hinunter, direkt am Wasser. Schade war, dass zu der Zeit wo wir da waren (Mai 2025) viel ringsherum gebaut wurde und teilweise Dinge verbrannt wurden, die nicht gut gerochen haben. Da wir aber davon ausgehen, dass dies nur temporär stattfand beeinträchtigt es nicht unserer positive Bewertung zur Unterkunft. :)

Els espais són molt macos i càlids. Un lloc molt tranquil i agradable per passar uns dies. A la casa t’hi faran companyia els gossos i un gat molt simpàtic! Trobaràs una gran varietat de fauna salvatge, que et recorda constantment que estàs en plena natura.

Liebe Marica und lieber Marko, vielen lieben Dank euch noch mal für Ihre Gastfreundschaft und die Möglichkeit, in eurem Haus zu bleiben! Die Lage der Unterkunft ist paradiesisch, dieser Aussicht von dem ganzen Grundstück auf die grünen Berge und Meer ist umwerfend! Wir haben es sehr genossen, draußen auf der Terrasse an dem großen Tisch zu essen (der Tisch ist neu und noch nicht auf den Fotos) und im beheizten Pool zu baden. Das war perfekt. Die Unterkunft besteht aus zwei Häuser. In einem ist ein Schlafzimmer mit Galerie. In anderem gibt es zwei Einheiten jeweils mit separatem Eingang (ein Schlafzimmer in 1. Etage, zwei Schlafzimmer zusammen in 2. Etage). Alle Einheiten haben eigenes Bad. In der Unterkunft ist alles, was man braucht, vorhanden und sogar noch mehr, weil die Besitzer auch selbst da wohnen. Die Zufahrt ist nicht einfach, aber auf jeden Fall machbar, man soll gut Auto fahren können. Marko gibt viele nützliche Tipps und ist sehr hilfsbereit und humorvoll. Viele Grüße

We were guests at Jas’ apartment as a family of four with two younger children. The apartment was very clean and offers a lot of space. It is located in a quiet area, which offers a very good starting point for exploring the fjord, the mountains in the surrounding area or the touristy very interesting places Kotor and Budvar! Despite the still early time in the year (end of April) and on average about 20 degrees Celsius, the sun was very warm and our children were in the well-kept pool every day. Overall the accommodation was modern, clean and well maintained. Jas, the host, communicated very friendly and proactive, was quickly available for questions and gave precise descriptions for the arrival and for orientation in the apartment. In general, a lot was thought of from the perspective of the guests: there was a lot of wood ready for the fireplace, neighbour Rosa welcomed us friendly and there were enough towels and other basics for the first days in the apartment. Highly recommend!

Ado's place is perfect for us to relax before heading home. Right along the coastline where the first thing you see when you get out of the property is the Bay (Just to clarify, you cannot see the Bay inside the unit). It's very peaceful and yet within 15 minutes walk to the Old Town. Abundant restaurants and even some markets to dine and shop. Ado also recommended a fish market for us to buy fresh catch. It's a must visit place if you love to cook seafood and drink wine. We arrived very late at night, so it was a bit nervous driving the narrow coastal road with cars parked on both sides and without street lights. But Ado was kind enough to have his daughter waited outside for us. The bathroom was a bit tight and the water heater capacity was small, so if you are a group of four and want hot showers, you will have to space yourselves or take quick showers. We got used to it the second night :) All in all, it was a splendid stay. Thank you for everything, Ado. Best to Bo-Bo too.

Wir waren begeistert von dem wunderschönen Balkon und dem Blick über die Bucht. Wir haben es täglich genossen! Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, um jedes Gericht zuzubereiten. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr ruhig. Wir waren völlig ungestört. Die Kommunikation war perfekt: Schnell und wir haben jede Information bekommen, die wir brauchten, auch über die Gegend und geplante Aktivitäten. Dank voor het geweldige verblijf! Het uitzicht is subliem. De locatie is centraal; verschillende leuke plekken zijn (per bus) goed te bereiken. Eetplekjes dichtbij, supermarkt voor het hoognodige in de buurt. Vooral de gastvrijheid van Jelena en Nikolai was de kers op de taart. Het begon al met een warm welkom. Je kan voor al je vragen en tips terecht, maar ook voor een gewoon gezellig praatje. We mochten proeven van de eigen gemaakte ‘womens’ en uiteindelijk ‘stronger’ likeur en hier werd uitgebreid over gedeeld. Vonden wij een erg leuke aanvulling op ons verblijf. Al met al echt een aanrader voor een leuke, ontspannen en gezellige plek! Dank!

Dreamtime Villa was one of the best AirBnB villa's we stayed in. The villa is spacious, as indicated on the site. Anz who is Marko's son he is present at the villa 24x7, which is a great help. He takes care of all the needs and that was an added advantage. He was reachable whenever required and has super knowledge about the area. The Villa is around 30 min drive from Lustica Bay where there are lots of nice restaurants and grocery. Villa has sizable swimming pool, pool table and lot of facilities to keep you and kids busy at the villa.

Magnifique villa isolée qui surplombe la baie de Kotor. Très moderne. Terrasse et baies vitrées incroyables. Vraiment un bel endroit et un super service de l'hote Grandes chambres avec leur salle de bain individuelle

Marta's apartment is very well designed with good separation between living and sleeping areas. All of the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and closets and drawers are plentiful. There is a washer and a dryer which is not common feature. The kitchen and dining room are also well appointed. The sofa and the chairs are comfortable. Marta's apartment is located on the last floor, has a beautiful large terrace with outdoor furniture, and a Weber grill. The views of Tivat and the bay compliment the whole experience. The apartment has one assigned parking spot in the underground garage. We had 2 cars and we were able to find parking by the building. Please be advised that you have to be able to climb one flight of stairs as the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor. Marta is very pleasant and easy host to communicate with. Our stay was relaxing, conveniently located, and picturesque. I would definitely rent again from Marta in the future. 5 star experience.

I booked the house for my parents and their friends, à group of five. The house is big and comfort, have everything may need during the stay. It is in a relatively more quiet area but you may easy access to popular spots with less than 30 min drive. There is also ferry access allows you to get to Budva and Tivat easier. It’s a good stay to explore Montenegro

Wir wurden so herzlich begrüßt, dass wir uns sofort wie zuhause fühlten. Die persönliche Note des Teams war spürbar in jedem Detail – aufmerksam, herzlich, dabei angenehm unaufdringlich. Es war, als würde man zu Freunden kommen, die einfach alles daran setzen, einem eine unvergessliche Zeit zu bereiten. Das Haus selbst ist ein Traum: stilvoll, aber nicht überladen – mit genau dem richtigen Maß an geschmackvoller Deko und viel Gefühl für Atmosphäre. התארחנו בדירה מהממת שמושלמת לשהייה ארוכה. הדירה מאובזרת ברמה גבוהה מאוד – במטבח יש פשוט הכול, עד הפריט האחרון. מרגישים שחשבו על כל פרט. החדרים מרווחים, מעוצבים בטוב טעם ונוחים מאוד. הכל חדש ונקי, ויש גם מתחם חיצוני ענק עם אזור ברביקיו ופינות ישיבה שפשוט תענוג לבלות בהן – שקט, ירוק, רגוע. החיסרון היחיד הוא המיקום – הדרך לדירה כוללת כביש מפותל, ואם אתם פחות מנוסים בנהיגה הררית זה משהו שצריך לקחת בחשבון. עם זאת, יש חניה פרטית ונוחה צמודה לדירה. לסיכום – חוויה נהדרת! מקום מושלם למי שמחפש שקט, נוחות ואירוח מושקע באמת.

We really enjoyed our stay — the view is fantastic! The house is well located around the bay and had everything we needed, though we did pick up a few extras like olive oil and coffee. The balcony is a bit close to the neighboring one, but it wasn’t an issue as we hardly saw anyone. Overall, a great spot. Thanks for hosting us!

Puhdas asunto ja omistaja vastasi nopeasti sekä oli auttavainen. Allasalue oli todella siisti myös! Maisemat olivat todella kauniit, varsinkin auringonlaskun aikaan. Ei moitittavaa.

Great location in old town. Host gave clear instructions on how to find the apartment and get inside. It is in the old town, so you will need to walk your luggage to the apartment, including many stairs. Also, old town can be loud. Bring ear plugs if that is an issue. Apartment was wonderful. Would stay here again.

Приезжали на пару ночей, расположение квартиры очень милое. Крутой вид из окон на море и горы, старинные окна. Очень понравилось :) Рекомендую брать маску для сна и беруши, потому что иногда проезжают громкие машины или проходят шумные компании

Wir haben es sehr genossen bei Anita. Die private Schwimm-Plattform war auch für den Sundowner bestens geeignet und wurde von uns viel genutzt, da die kleine Terrasse zur viel befahrenen Straße rausgeht. Wir habe viele tolle Tipps bekommen von Anita und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der kleine Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke hat alles, was man auf die Schnelle braucht und vergessen hat, einzukaufen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

A beautiful and homely space where we were able to enjoy the stunning views and close proximity to Kotor old town. Igor was an attentive and communicative host and even allowed us to check in 30 minutes before they agreed check-in time which was a massive relief after a long day of travel. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this beautiful apartment.

Wij zijn 4 dagen verbleven in de accommodatie, het was een prettig verblijf met een super uitzicht, heerlijk bed, mooie ruime badkamer en echt zeer makkelijk te vinden. Tijana was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam tijdens ons verblijf, ze gaf goede tips over de omgeving en reageerde snel. Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan als je in Tivat wilt verblijven.

Heel fijn ruim appartement gelegen aan een van de rustigere gedeeltes van de baai van Kotor. In alles voorzien: zeer volledig ingerichte keuken, super douche, wasmachine etc etc. Terras is ook fijn, de vorige gasten hadden jammer genoeg de kussens van het tuinmeubilair in de regen laten liggen maar daar kan Marina niks aan doen. Je kan een paadje aflopen naar de baai (1 minuut lopen) en daar kan je ook zwemmen, met prachtig uitzicht (voor zover er geen cruiseschip in de weg ligt) Prima verblijf!
