I recently stayed at this beautiful retreat and was thoroughly impressed. The entire property was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully maintained. The horses were gentle and a joy to be around, they even come close to house. was really nice to pet them. The spa and pool area was a true highlight: serene, clean, and incredibly rejuvenating. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or a bit of adventure, this place offers the perfect balance. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my return. Thank you for having us!

lovely little place clean and well maintained in a quiet area. They left bacon and eggs and a few other goodies for us to enjoy which was very much appreciated. Spa was lovely and clean unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it. Highly recommend for staying and exploring the Hunter Valley.

We are so happy we have found this beautiful gem. We will come back for sure! Our arrival was a bit stressful as we were trying to arrive quickly before the roads were closed (due to floods) and Jill helped us along the way even organizing a really early check in! We were also lucky to stay another night as the roads were still closed or just newly opened. The place is beautiful in the rain and bathed in the sunshine. We saw so many birds and loved saying hi to the chickens everyday. It is cosy, well furnished and extremely comfortable! It really feels like home! We will recommend it to friends and family when they come to this part of the world!

This is my second time staying at this cottage and it felt like home again. Cecilia is warm and friendly and takes great pride in being a host. Everything is as described and the cottage has what you need for a short or long stay. It’s a great location in Stockton, with all amenities accessible on foot. This is one of the best, if not the best, Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

An absolute stunning property, we couldn’t believe how big the house was despite looking small. It was very cozy and loved the special touch of getting into a warm (electric blanket) bed at night. The views were to die for and baths were a great idea. We 100% recommend and would love to come back one day.

We were in Maitland for a weekend of sport and Sally's place was an easy 14 minute drive from town - and a welcome escape from the noisy stadium. We were greeted on arrival with warm freshly baked bread and homemade treats, and made to feel right at home. Our dog loved running around and meeting the inquisitive cows and friendly horses along the fence line, and we were warm and cosy inside the cottage - and protected on the sunny verandah on what was a pretty cold and windy long weekend. Thank you Sally for a lovely stay!

Amazing place. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Peaceful and quiet with very comfortable beds and furniture. Excellent host who goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and want. Will happily leave you alone or keep you company and entertain you, if you prefer. Cozy fireplace. Modern bathroom. Awesome sauna and pool. Amazing views with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Excellent fire pit. Clear views of the stars and the Milky Way. A perfect getaway.

Our stay at Tallowood cottage was lovely. The cottage was better than pictured. The bed in the main bedroom was probably the best bed we have slept in for an Airbnb. The house was roomy and comfortable. Unfortunately we stayed during an East Coast low and the backyard turned into a swimming pool so it was difficult for our dog to use. We just used the front yard instead. So great to have a dog friendly comfortable property so close to a dog beach. Susan and her team were extremely responsive to our communications and let us extend our stay until the road home had reopened after the floods a bit further south. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Had the most beautiful stay at Eamonn's on the river. The place is so sweet & exactly as described and pictured... such a serene escape with beautiful scenery, great amenities & hosts to match. We enjoyed sitting by the lake and outdoor fire place every evening which was stocked with wood and fire lighters to get us on our way. It was my hubby's bday while away & Eamonn went to the extremely kind trouble of baking a scrumptious cake to celebrate which he delivered to us. We also got to mingle with a litter of puppies which was a treat & added bonus : ). Eamonn came to the rescue when my husband has an allergic reaction as well , promptly bringing over some antihistamines early in the morning. Twas a perfect weekend, owed to the place and hosts. Thanks so much for having us and spoiling us!

Absolutely loved my stay at Chris’a place. From the moment I arrived felt right at home. Loved all the inclusions jams breads coffees milk ect. It’s perfect spot to the beach and shops all walking distance. My dogs loved the dog friendly beach. I loved the privacy of Chris’ place the dogs had a little front area and I could sit there with a cuppa in the sunlight whilst they played. Thank you Chris !!!

Great house to stay in! Very spacious and close to the beach/shops and a short drive from other surrounding beaches and shops. Amazing price for what you get as well. Lovely back yard and easy to get in to.

This was our first time booking through Airbnb, and my sister and I had such a wonderful time here. The place was very well presented, clean, tidy, and so peaceful. Roz was super accommodating with our last minute request to stay. We were so grateful to have a ‘home away from home’, for the duration of a course I was attending nearby and to share the cosy, private and peaceful space with our dogs. The sofa bed I front of the fire was a big novelty for our daughter, and we all stayed very warm thanks to the plentiful firewood provided. Beautiful north western mountain views from the elevated site and wonderful sunsets to wind down with in the evening. Comfy beds, fresh linen and quiet nights left us all refreshed and ready to explore and enjoy the wonders of Biripi and Worimi country. Thanks Roz! I will certainly recommend.

Such a magical place! The cottage is tucked away in nature, full of flowers, birdlife, and even a herb garden we were welcome to use. Ashleigh and Jarrod were incredible host-very kind and welcoming. We spent a few peaceful nights here and left feeling truly refreshed. Would absolutely stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ken & Cathy’s lake house! The cottage is lovely and cozy, with a charming wood fire that kept us warm during the cold winter nights. The location is perfect, offering stunning sunsets over the lake—a truly magical sight to end each day. Ken & Cathy’s communication was exceptional, providing a detailed app with all the information guests might need. This was incredibly helpful and made our stay seamless and stress-free. Beyond the lake house, we had a fantastic weekend exploring the area and discovering the beautiful beaches nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chill-Out cottage. Check-in was super easy. It’s a great property for families with dogs. The dog friendly One Mile beach is just around the corner, our doggies were thrilled. The cottage was very comfortable, spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. There are books, games, puzzles for rainy days and we enjoyed watching Binge and Netflix in the evenings. We will definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at sea eagle point. Great location - calm, relaxing and lot of area for boys and girls to run around.
