Roberta is a great host, lovely reception and great communication. The place was nice with everything you need. After two days we did notice a little bit of a smell from the fireplace, and with the windows open it was sometimes a little bit noisy, but other than that everything was great. We would stay here again.

Gabriele's cottage is in a strategic position both to reach the beaches and to reach other famous destinations nearby. The house is clean and suitable for 2 people, well stocked with bed, bath and kitchen linen and also with dishes, pots and cutlery. I used the induction cooktop with great ease, as well as the coffee machine and microwave. Upon arrival, we found the fridge already cold and with bottles of fresh water, clearly much appreciated. Moreover, Gabriele and I often exchanged messages, and I always received a response. In summary, I highly recommend Casa Dorotea. Giuseppina

Place is amazing! Little bit challenging to walk up the hill from the parking spot (btw, theres always one reserved for this house) with my not totally healed ankle trauma, but my partner and kids had no problem. Andrea and Eleonora are wonderful hosts. Our car broke 500km away from them and they waited for us to arrive and check in late at night. They helped us with every question we had. Place itself is clean, cozy, comfortable. We had everything we needed. Pool was a life saver in this heat wave. Garden is super cozy, surrounded by many beautiful plants and there are little lizards and geckos running 😍 next to the house is a church and sunday evening there was a little beautiful concert. In the evening temperature drops down quite nicely and you get nice breeze to sleep comfortably.

Marvelous place. Artfully decorated, squeaky clean, very spacious. We stayed here as the hub for day trips to cinque terre and the Apuan Alps. Greeted with a very friendly welcome upon arrival complete with helpful tips for getting around Central Massa. Bed is very comfortable. Felt right at home!
