Small private island located between Angouleme and Cognac, on the path of the bike path "La Flow vélo", in the immediate vicinity of the pretty beach of Le Bain des Dames. House with adjoining garden overlooking the river. Numerous activities on site: swimming pool, kayaks and bicycles, large games room: billiards, table tennis, table football, darts, board games, toys for children, books, comics... The island is also home to a forest garden which makes it a true oasis for biodiversity!

The little extras: your host practices traditional Chinese energy and the outdoor spa between June and September.

Cabin built mainly with recycled materials on the small island of our pond. Comfortable interior layout, suitable for both short and long stays. Breakfast included and served in the morning between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Ideal place to recharge your batteries, work on a project, play board games (2 on site), enjoy a person you love, stroll in nature (park, forest, vineyard) or on the water (boat), have a barbecue…

Le Petit Tournesol - gîte for two in Challignac

The little Gîte is a beautiful open plan space for two people. A double bedroom sits on the mezzanine level. The gîte sits adjacent to our home ‘Le Petit Tournesol’ and is surrounded by gardens and countryside. In the day please enjoy the pool area (May-September) and the gardens to relax and unwind. Reservations for age 18+ only. We are unable to host children and infants.

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family, ideal for walks, close to shops 1 km away. 30 minutes from Angoulême, 30 minutes from Cognac, 50 minutes from Bordeaux, 20 km from the Jonzac thermal baths, one hour from Royan and 50 km from the Dordogne, in a totally rural setting in a former 17th century convent converted into a dwelling.
