Holiday rentals in Banda Sea

We recently spent two nights at Kia Homestay and can't recommend it enough! Neni and Saleh, our wonderful hosts, went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They helped organize transportation and arranged a fantastic tour of the area. The meals were absolutely delicious, and we especially enjoyed dining with a stunning beach view. What sets Kia Homestay apart is Neni and Saleh's dedication to educational and environmental projects. It was inspiring to hear about their involvement in such meaningful initiatives. We're already looking forward to returning soon!

The stay at Eddy’s home stay was the perfect stopover before or after you go to the Togians. Eddy is super friendly, helpful and funny. He will help you with everything in and around Ampana and will be the best mate to help you with the journey to the togians. The room is very nice, very clean and comfortable. It’s a very quiet and harmonious place, where you can relax together with Eddy and his friends and family in the evening. See you soon, and then together with my mother 😉 Sampai jumpai!

Leider konnten wir bloß 2 Nächte bleiben. Agus, sein Sohn Richard und das gesamte Team boten einen ausgezeichneten Service, waren sehr freundlich und offen. Die Lage direkt über den Mangroven mit einem schönen Blick in die Bay hinein ist einmalig und die Bauweise der Huts der Umgebung entsprechend. Wir hoffen, bald und dann mit etwas mehr Zeit, nochmals in den Genuss kommen zu können. Bis dahin wünschen wir Agus und dem Team alles Liebe.

I had a great time staying with Marion at her place in Dili. She is very friendly and helpful when it comes to navigating around Dili and getting information about Timor-Leste. You can walk about 7-10 minutes up the street and under the bridge to catch many of the mikrolets and there is the number 11 that goes right past her home. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom which has a private bathroom attached to it and a fridge with a freezer. There's also AC in the bedroom and in the lounge. The apartment was clean and the kitchen has all the cooking supplies (utensils, pots and pans, French press coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, etc.) in case you want to prepare meals yourself. She also has two friendly cats and a big fluffy Husky and they all like people. I also met a lot of great people through her. I recommend staying here if you come to Dili.

Sejauh ini lokasinya sangat nyaman, dengan harga yang sangat relatif murah didukung dengan staff yg rama. Ditambah oleh owner yang sangat cepat merespon pertanyaan. Jadi jika anda ke Timor Leste, jangan lewatkan menginap di lokasi ini.

The location and the setting of the bungalows in the spacious garden, close to the sea, is beautiful. The room and bathroom were both quite big and nicely decorated. Enough space for all your stuff. The beds were comfortable. And a terrace in front of the bungalow. The service was outstanding and everybody was more than friendly. Their English was really good and they were always in for a chat. Breakfast was delicious, started with a plate of fruit, fruit juice and toast/pancakes, whatever you want. The dinner was just as nice. It is situated next to a very quiet beach with lovely swimming. There are bamboo beds and matresses are available. And ofcourse there is a swimming pool. There is an excellent driver available, Jacob, for daytours. We recommend Lepo Lerun, Ikat weaving. Boat trips are organised by the staff. The price you pay is worth every penny. And not expensive at all for what you get. We even stayed an extra night, cause we had such a good time. We highly recommend it!!

Un excellent séjour au Ora sunrise homestay, le service de récupération et de restauration est parfait. l'organisation d'excursions via le homestay est un sérieux atout, l'ensemble du personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute. je recommande +++ !

I arrived at Mana Setivia’s home very late at night. Her and her husband were super friendly and accommodating. The room they have is amazing. It’s easily the nicest place I have stayed in Timor-Leste. Spotless and beautiful room with air conditioning and comfortable bed. A separate bathroom with sit-down toilet and hot water shower! For me, it was well worth the price and way better than a hotel in Dili. The place is in a quiet neighborhood just off the main coast road. I initially had trouble finding the location, but Mana Setivia was able to help me with a live location in Whats App ( the location was incorrect in the AirBnB app at the time I wrote this). Breakfast was great and Mana Setivia accommodated the early start I needed to make. At time of writing, I actually returned for a second night on my way back to my home in Fatuquero . Super friendly people. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Dili especially if you have transport.
