Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Balatonkenese

We spent a wonderful week in the little house, which is absolutely baby and dog friendly. We got everything we needed for the everyday life of a one-year-old baby (travel bed, high chair, baby bath, plastic bowls and glasses) and the kitchen is super well equipped. The neighborhood is beautiful, I can only recommend it!

As a returning guest, I've never been disappointed. We're guaranteed to come back :)

We had a wonderful time with 2 small children, 10/10. Easy access. The house is very tastefully furnished, everything was there, everything is as in the photos. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful, almost a small forest, beautiful and well-kept, surrounded all around. The children really enjoyed the regular interaction with the animals. Petra is a great host, always quick and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back.

A great place to stay for a quiet and active vacation - perfect location in a very quiet area. The house is brand new, beautiful, clean and very stylish! I recommend!!! I also appreciate the communication with the host, which was great. 2 bedrooms for 2 couples, we had a private one. Terrace overlooking the garden, including a barbecue. Parking in the backyard. I really recommend the stay.

This place was exactly what we needed as two teachers wanting to get out of the city. Peaceful, countryside home with a beautiful sauna and jacuzzi that we used multiple times a day. We loved exploring this part of Hungary (we went to Lake Hévíz) and genuinely enjoyed our stay here. We biked from the train station to the Airbnb, which was hard in the winter. A car might be necessary for others.

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Uncle Paul’s place in Balatonfüred. It truly felt like visiting family. Uncle Paul speaks excellent English and is incredibly knowledgeable, not just about wine, but also about local history, plants, and culture. He welcomed us with such kindness: picking us up from the train station (even with our two huge suitcases!), treating us to wine tasting while sharing his deep knowledge of Hungarian wines - how they’re made, where they come from, and what goes into them. He also generously offered us homemade Hungarian fish soup, fresh fruits and nuts from his garden, and even took time to drive us to beautiful Tihany. Uncle Paul has travelled to many countries and shared fascinating stories that kept us smiling and laughing. We drank together, sang together, danced together, and had the most wonderful holiday. Three nights were far too short, we left with full hearts and lovely memories. Thank you, Uncle Paul!

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

We recently stayed at a beautiful cozy country home in Hungary with the whole family, and it was a wonderful experience. Each of us had our own room, all of which were beautifully furnished and had their own bathrooms. The large living room and dining room provided plenty of space for us to relax and enjoy meals together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, especially the pool and whirlpool, which were great for both relaxation and fun. The kids loved the trampoline and had plenty to keep them entertained. Overall, this vacation home was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We look forward to visiting again!

My family and I had an excellent time staying at Marta’s place. The pool, hot tub, ping pong table and foosball table were just some of the highlights. We loved the extensive amount of outdoor living space. Some days we used the outdoor grill and even made a porkolt over the gas burner which was already full of gas for our use. We had a few ants in one of the bedrooms and Marta was quick to send somebody over to rectify the situation. Lucky for us the house had enough bedrooms where this was a non issue. My son accidentally broke the glass of one of the kitchen cabinet doors and Marta was very easy to deal with it. I would highly recommend this place again and would consider staying again if my family and would re visit the Balaton. Thank you Marta for the great stay.

Tamas was a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment was really well equipped and gave us everything we needed. Our dogs really enjoyed the access to the garden. A very pleasant stay

We had a perfect weekend at Melinda's, the house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable for 7 people. Everything in the yard is available for a perfect summer evening, barbecue, pool, sun loungers,… we will be happy to book again.

The house is really beautifully decorated and it has everything you need. It is really small and probably a bit cramped for very large or many people. It worked for us. The bikes are great!

This apartment truly matches its photos, featuring two separate rooms that open onto a small patio. It's located within walking distance of the lake and restaurants. A supermarket and public washing machine are just two minutes away. Car is recommended for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas, but you can also use the near train station to get to other cities. We loved our vacation here.

Great host with a great donkey!

We had a very nice holiday as a family with 2 small children in this cottage. The garden is very nice with a large meadow and the 2 hammocks. The house is neat and very nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable. However, the stairs were a bit dangerous for us with 2 small children. We enjoyed the area very much. There are really many nice restaurants and cafes in the area. And these are very empty in the preseason...great. The road to the house is a bit adventurous, especially if you have a big car like us.

it was a nice house with everything we needed. we stayed with our 2 kids (2 and 5 years) they had a great time in the garden and the Legos in the drawers were also a succes. Netflix was also available and Peter was a great host. The trains wasnt a problem the small ones just startet to shout tuuut tuuut every time a train passed by. Lidl is close as well all in all we had a great time 😊

Wonderful stay at Szandra’s place. Super clean and spacious. Beautiful outdoor space. Perfectly located for us to continue our trip to eastern Europe. Highly recommend.

When I saw the cottage photos I knew it’s the right place for me and when I arrived there I just felt home. The whole area is amazing. It’s away from noise and people just you with the birds and nature of beautiful Balaton. The moment I booked the cottage on Airbnb Abel and Anita were so helpful and communicative. The moment I arrived Anita drove me to the cottage then helped me to visit some places also arranged an activity for me and my daughter. She’s an angel on earth. As soon as you enter, you can feel how much love and passion the owners have decorated this little paradise with. Every detail, from the cozy decoration to the perfectly equipped kitchen, helps make you feel right at home. We would like to emphasise the warm hospitality of the two owners. Not only are they incredibly nice and accommodating, but they are also a real treasure trove of valuable tips for the area. Thanks to their recommendations, we discovered great restaurants and explored beautiful places in the vineyards that we might otherwise have missed. The location in the vineyards is simply idyllic and offers a magnificent tranquility. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
