Family-friendly holiday rentals in Balatonakali

Wow!!! We loved this place sooo much! An amazing place with the most perfect view, the owners were so nice and thoughtful! They let us to check out later and when we arrived they even welcomed us with a local drink. Really I can’t say even one bad thing about them! Thanks you guys we had the best time ever! 🙏🙏🙏

Wir können hier nur sagen das die Unterkunft absolut toll ist. Direkt am Balaton gelegen, jetzt im April schön ruhig und das Haus bzw die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Ein Traum wenn man bei nicht so warmen Wetter, im Whirlpool oder auf dem Sofa sitzen kann und durch die großen Panorama Fenster auf den Balaton blicken kann. Alles in allem war dies ein traumhafter Aufenthalt für uns Ungarn Fans hier im April.

Apartment was really clean and cozy. It was first apartment that we stayed, where kids did not want to go out, due to toys in apartment itself. It also has hot tub available during winter inside - shared with other apartments, bit during our stay it was never occupied.

Wir hatten das Haus für einen großen Familienausflug gebucht und waren begeistert. Das Haus ist sehr schön und der direkte Seezugang mit dem schönen Garten war wunderbar einladend. Die Gastgeberin war gut erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich würde das Haus wieder buchen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Alles war genauso, wie beschrieben - sauber, komfortabel und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind der beheizte Salzwasserpool, der Whirlpool und die Sauna, die für absolute Entspannung gesorgt haben. Es hat einfach alles gepasst und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-).

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Tamás, Appartment hält sehr gut, was an Hand der Fotos und der Beschreibung versprochen wird. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir Spa und Privatstrand des benachbarten Hotels Azur mitbenutzen konnten. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal sehr aufgewertet!

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat a szálláson. Otthonos volt. A gyerekek élvezték a kertet a saját játszótérrel. A házigazdától szuper ajánlásokat kaptunk. Minden napra jutott valami gyerekbarát program pár perc autóútra. Imádtuk az őszi Balatont!

A szállás nagyon tiszta volt, jól felszerelt és minden a közelben volt. Csak jót tudunk mondani, biztos hogy visszamegyünk még, csak ajánlani tudom!:)

We spent an awesome long weekend at Julianna’s place. The panoramic lake view from the terrace is spectacular. The fully fenced garden was perfect for our dog. Marked hiking routes, and several vineyards are in walking distance. Daytime temperatures reached 30 °C while we were there, yet the house stayed pleasantly cool throughout. Highly recommended.

Mein Mann, unsere Tochter und ich verbrachten drei wundervolle Tage in der bezaubernden Villa von Balázs. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit. Für uns war alles perfekt, das Haus war angenehm kühl trotz einsetzender Sommerhitze und es war schön den Abend bei Wein und Spiel im privaten, sehr charmanten Garten (Wald) ausklingen zu lassen... Wir waren begeistert und wollten garnicht heim.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour de 8 nuits dans la maison de László, avec notre petit garçon de 3 ans. László et sa charmante femme nous ont accueilli avec des figues et des pêches du jardin et des jouets pour notre fils. Et nous avons même reçu du pain frais fait maison! Un délice! La maison est adorable, une maison qui a une histoire, mais elle est bien aménagée et bien fraiche lors des fortes chaleurs. C'était parfait pour bien dormir la nuit. Nous avons pu profiter du superbe jardin et des herbes fraiches pour cuisiner (romarin, menthe, etc) et notre enfant avait tout l'espace rêvé pour jouer. Il y avait même une petite maison cachée pour lui dans le jardin! Le soir, il faisait tellement calme et le ciel était si vaste et dégagé que nous avons pu admirer la voie lactée et de nombreuses étoiles filantes... Le village est très beau et paisible, à seulement 10min du lac et d'une petite plage aménagée pour enfants et adultes. C'était juste parfait!

Anna's house is a very nice place. We were 11 people, 5 children and 6 adults so the adults lived in the big cottage and the children in the smaller, detached one. The children enjoyed the several hideouts for their games. Very nice garden and very nicely refunded houses. The Balaton is around 20min driving. After Anna explained how to find the house, needed to go through the neighbour's garden, than it was easy to find it. I can just recommend it, if you want a calm holiday.

This is the second time I have stayed it this property and it did not let me down. I requested the booking and within minutes was booked in. Very easy process. Will definitely be back again.

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Uncle Paul’s place in Balatonfüred. It truly felt like visiting family. Uncle Paul speaks excellent English and is incredibly knowledgeable, not just about wine, but also about local history, plants, and culture. He welcomed us with such kindness: picking us up from the train station (even with our two huge suitcases!), treating us to wine tasting while sharing his deep knowledge of Hungarian wines - how they’re made, where they come from, and what goes into them. He also generously offered us homemade Hungarian fish soup, fresh fruits and nuts from his garden, and even took time to drive us to beautiful Tihany. Uncle Paul has travelled to many countries and shared fascinating stories that kept us smiling and laughing. We drank together, sang together, danced together, and had the most wonderful holiday. Three nights were far too short, we left with full hearts and lovely memories. Thank you, Uncle Paul!

Szilvi was very kind, and the place looked exactly like in the pictures. We stayed with our one-and-a-half-year-old baby – it was perfect for the little one too. There’s a small playground in the garden, which we especially appreciated. If you’re planning to go with a baby, it’s an ideal environment. I can only recommend it!

We had an absolutely fantastic two-week stay at this Airbnb! The house is perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kitchen is fully fitted, making it easy to cook meals, and every part of the house feels thoughtfully prepared to ensure a pleasant stay. The garden and pool area are simply wonderful—beautifully maintained and a joy to spend time in. Both my children and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming and lounging by the pool. A special highlight for our kids was the company of the owner’s two lovely cats, who were an absolute delight to have around. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, always available to offer recommendations and ensure that we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had an amazing two weeks here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect holiday getaway!

We had such a wonderful time. we spend almost 4 weeks in this wonderful Home. we loved the House, the beautiful Garden, the nice Pool and we Had everything we needed. the neighbourhood is quiet and everything is close by. Marta & Szabolcs are DreamHosts. super nice communication, Tips and recomendations. Inside the House we felt Like Home from day one. comfy beds. two fridges. All Things are Designed to have a fantastic stay. with Car you will be able to explore all Balaton Sights with ease. Highly Recommended. Thank you for making our Holidays such a great time.

We hadden een superleuke, aangename vakantie in deze prachtige villa. Het huis is zeer goed uitgerust, heeft een mooi terras en een prachtige tuin met veel bomen, die de nodige verkoeling geven tijdens de warme zomerdagen. (de airco's op de slaapkamers zijn ook een grote meerwaarde) Het rustige strand ligt om de hoek (ca. 200m) en met de bolderkar neem je met gemak al je strandgerief mee. Te voet of met de fiets ben je zo in het centrum bij de bakker, kleine supermarkt of restaurant. Een absolute aanrader om het Balaton en deze mooie streek te ontdekken.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay! Our family (kids, parents, and grandparents) had the best time at this gorgeous villa in Balatonfured. The house is so pretty, with comfy furniture and cool decorations that made us feel right at home. We loved hanging out by the pool. The kids had a blast, and us adults got to relax in style. It felt like our own little paradise. The kitchen is great (we love to cook), and we enjoyed eating outside on the terrace every day and every meal. It was great being so close to the lake too - we could walk to the beach and restaurants in just a few minutes. If you're looking for a special place to make memories, this villa is perfect. We can't wait to come back!

Very spacious apartment for a reasonable price.

Baráti társasággal voltunk. Nagyon szép, tiszta és otthonos a ház. Csodálatos a kilátás. A tulajdonosok kedvesek, barátságosak, rugalmasak. Családdal is szeretnék majd visszatérni :)

Apt. has everything what you need. I have a feeling like at home. Location is GREAT, walking distance to beach. I would rate this place 10/10. We will be back for sure.

Logement parfait, hôte très gentille et très réactif, nous avons adoré notre séjour. Nous ne pouvons que recommandé ce lieux et nous reviendrons!
