Holiday rentals in Azogiras

We just returned from 10 days at this property and can’t overstate how stunning it is. We sought out something that would feel like a luxury resort without all the people and this really delivered. The pool and grounds are so beautiful, completely private with views over Phalasarna Bay. The shallow section of the pool was perfect for our 4 year old. The whole outdoor space is serene and the outdoor lighting around the property just after sunset is truly magical. Inside the house is just as nice and was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels were provided for the shower and pool. Phalasarna is not overly touristy and feels like a hidden gem, the beaches were not crowded, the prices of local restaurants were very affordable (We loved Spilios and Alea). We had such a lovely time here and we will remember it fondly. And extra thanks to Giannis for accommodating such a late check-in and being so welcoming after we were delayed. We would love to return someday.

We recommend Villa Elena with our highest endorsement. Sifis is a compassionate host with resourceful info & recs, def reach out to him if you have any Qs; he’s very responsive. Thoughtful/Delicious homemade meal ready on arrival. Kitchen stocked with basic food including many oranges for fresh squeezed OJ everyday & the best olive oil on Earth. Private/Tranquil location with amazing views yet close to beaches, market & bakery. Short walk to point for breathtaking sunset. Visited during low season so pool not used & did not think in advance to pay extra to heat hot tub but indoor fireplace used daily. Inexperienced drivers may have difficulty navigating to home. Rec 4x4 rental car with navigation system but did ok in Fiat Panda with propped up phone on dashboard. Sifis & family are amazing hosts, high quality humans & new friends. Hope to return someday for at least 2 weeks to see more of Crete. Would def stay here again if available. Thank you!

Ein wundervoller Ausblick von der Dachterrasse! Babis ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, hat mir tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Region gegeben und mich sehr freundlich in der Wohnung willkommen geheißen. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt und besonders die Dachterrasse der Wohnung ist traumhaft!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette belle maison plein de charme. Points positifs : - logement parfaitement propre - climatisation dans les chambres - endroit agréable, beau paysage - situé à 12 minutes des plages de la côte nord ouest comme Falassarna et à 35min de Balos - de supers restaurants à 5/10 minutes (je vous recommande Kaliviani fish & meat Taverna) - directement sur la route principale, pas de petits chemins pour aller à la maison - le propriétaire est très gentil, disponible, et arrangeant - des petits chats qui deviendront vos meilleurs amis si vous les nourrissez en juste en bas de la maison - équipement complet : sèche cheveux, lave vaisselle, lave linge, fil à linge, congélateur… - il est facile de garer la voiture Points moins positifs : - Les petits lits 1 place sont sûrement ok pour des enfants, mais pas très confortables pour des adultes, on sent les ressorts - route principale située juste devant la maison

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation. Så nöjda. Vackrare än på bilderna. Vi är jätte nöjda med semestern. Fick massor av bra tips på restauranger o sevärdheter. Hjälpsamma o svarade snabbt när vi hade frågor. Hela familjen var supernöjda med semestern.

Het huis was prachtig, zeer goed gelegen en rustig in een klein gehuchtje. Zicht op de bergen, mooi terras,... We werden heel warm ontvangen, met enkele dingen in de koelkast speciaal voor een eerste maaltijd, vers fruit, een cake. Zeer verwelkomend. Goede bedden, mooie handdoeken, kamerjassen en slippers (als in een mooi hotel of spa!) en volledig uitgeruste keuken. Perfect! De regio is rustiek en vol mooie baaien en stranden (Balos!).
