Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ayent

Very nice place, matched the description, very beautiful neighborhood up on the hill. The host is very nice and responsive. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped.

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

Absolutely perfect Swiss chalet tucked away on the edge of the village. Stunning view of the 3 mountains, and well placed for various local walks as well as excursions further afield. Liza looked after us extremely well, always on hand for any problems (there were none!) or to help with any queries, and always with such good humour. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying with Patrizia and Antonio, without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. They’re the kind of people who remind you that there’s still so much goodness in the world, the kind you can count on, even as strangers. Thank you both for everything; your humanity and care meant more than words can say.

Very spacious house for us, a group of 8 adults. We each have our favorite spots inside the house or outside Jacuzzi or balcony watching the Matterhorn changing colors during the day. Taxi is able to drop us off at the lift to the house, so no train and dragging luggages required. Everything is perfect. We are so glad that we chose this house.

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is outstanding and is something very special. There's nothing missing here. The view of Mont Blanc from the chalet, as well as the possibility of using the many hiking trails directly from the accommodation, are spectacular. Vincent is an excellent host. I am deliberately not saving on superlatives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to being Vincent's guest again in the future.

Marie-Cecile and Tomas were such lovely hosts and they obliged certain extra requests to make our stay extremely comfortable. The village is beautiful, well connected and has plenty to do if you like hiking and absorbing the views. A great place to soak in nature, very comfortable for 3 people. A fabulous hideaway, so quiet, no noisy roads, no noisy people. Just perfect. Lovely and warm, very clean, full of everything we needed. Was great to just read and not have a TV And we didn't need a microwave because we were able to cook ourselves easily. Plenty warm water and so luxurious to have a bath in the apartment, fantastic!! Also Samoens has lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. In addition we were able to use a couple of spare towels as a curtain in the bedroom, so no problems at all. The information provided was so thorough, there was nothing we didn't understand. A wonderful place to stay for a week Thank you so much Scotti You have been amazing, I hope we can stay again ❤️

Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our trip. The place was exactly as advertised and in pristine condition. Sabine was very responsive and gave great directions and tips. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need plus coffee, tea, and other little bonuses. Views were amazing, and it was easy to get to all of the activities in the area. Wengen is a wonderful village, the perfect Swiss town. We will absolutely be back and recommend Sabine to everyone!

We had a really nice stay at Janine's place. The check-in instructions are clear, the house located in a scenic location with easy connection to public transportation. The settings in the house is cozy and thoughtful, we enjoyed making breakfast and dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The interior and furniture in the room makes you feel like home. Not to mention the fantastic mountain view out of the window! We would definitely recommend this fantastic house!

Kandersteg is an amazing location for a getaway! 360° views of the Alps that are just awe-inspiring and this home puts you right in the middle of it all! A cozy home that is just minutes’ walk into Kandersteg for shopping and dining, but also a very easy walk to the gondola up the mountain. We never needed our car! The hosts are very easy to communicate with and are proactive with instructions. I’ve already recommended this home to friends!

We had a wonderful time at Nicole's farmhouse. The location is beautiful, tucked away in the countryside. Out children loved spending time playing outside with the lamb and chickens! Nicole was out of town, but Loic took good care of us and made a lovely breakfast. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling through the area!

What an amazing place, complete with everything you could possibly need, and the best host, Bendrie - whose warm smile and friendly demeanor invites you to feel immediately at home. Mimi the cat also helped with that. The space was more than enough for 3 couples to share, buy we were only 3 in total so we enjoyed spreading out and soaking up the views from the balconies. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the hike to Lac Taney as well, which is conveniently on your doorstep. Also, loved the drive up and down the mountain. A perfect experience for my sister and niece to experience Switzerland for the first time. Truly unforgettable.

We had a very good week at Lorraine's, the accommodation is very well thought out with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's a luxury skiing! It is part of a residence with swimming pool, the services are good levels and it is a few minutes walk from the eggs that go up to the top of the resort. With snow, it's even accessible by ski! I wholeheartedly recommend staying! Thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.

We were warmly welcomed and were allowed to spend a few relaxing days. We felt right at home. The children enjoyed the play possibilities and were allowed to feed the deer. It was great!
