Our stay was amazing. We went to Grijó for a wedding and the location couldn't be more perfect. Emília was an amazing host, super available, attentive and of a giant sympathy! The house, besides the excellent cleaning, is very welcoming and is equipped with everything we need and something else :) all the corners were thought to detail with a lot of love and affection, both inside and outside that is also very pleasant ! And it's impossible not to feel the good energy ❤️ We sincerely thank you for your attention and look forward to coming back!

Ines is a wonderful person and excellent communicator that responds quickly. She met us upon arrival to show us around and was so thoughtful to leave us fresh fruit and snacks. She also has a vast knowledge of local places to visit, the Portuguese culture, driving tips, restaurants and more. The home was perfect for the 3 of us. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The home is cozy with a working fireplace, a back yard to bask in the sun, great WiFi, and heaters for comfort as needed. Numerous restaurants, local convenience shops, cafes and a cool mall (Vida Ovar) within 10 to 20 min driving. Definitely recommend having a car to explore. I highly recommend her home for a wonderful visit.

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Host was so responsive to all of my messages (both prior to and during my stay) providing me with helpful information for our arrival, checkin and stay.The AirBnB has excellent amenities and I made a lot of use of the kitchen and common space. Very quiet área with amazing landscaping views. Highly recomended

I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

Absolutely a perfect find. Peaceful. Well equipped kitchen, toiletries. Home made jam and honey. Aveiro a nice place to visit. Also the painted houses on the coast. Margarida is a superhost indeed.

Maybe not for everyone but us we experienced the house and surroundings as a little paradise. The house has character and the whole lot around it is beautiful. It is quiet and has lots of space. The pool is real pool, and not an enlarged sort of bath tub. A beautiful view is included. The house is well equipped, everything worked well. The shoreline is a 40+ minute drive and worthwhile visiting. One can walk kilometers on the wooden board walk or bike along. Even to Porto along the shore which is really not far away. It passes Afurada………… you may want to plan a stop there for excellent sea food at a very reasonable price Hiking trails are in the area. Do some smart shopping for groceries and the like at a supermarket, we did not find anything close by. Maybe a minus for some, if you like to go out and enjoy night life nearby, that is a no-go.

It was a good few days ago. Weather helped. The kids loved the pool and the space. And the adults too. :)

A genuinely perfect holiday home. Stunning location, wonderful pool, amazing to have a grass 5-a-side football pitch for the kids. Host was helpful, flexible and kind.

We really liked Sara's apartment, it's new and modern. We loved the decor and comfort. It has everything to spend a few days there. Check-in is flexible and independent. Sara was friendly and helpful. Although we do not travel with our pet they accept them, a point in favor. I would definitely repeat.

Very nice suite, with the comfort of a bedroom and suitable for a baby! The shared area with the other hosts was just beautiful! Very nice, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well-equipped, several small corners allow you to enjoy the garden and terrace as you wish: a real plus! The pool was as described and very enjoyable with this sun. We recommend this little piece of heaven 100%!

Carla was very kind. We asked if he could supply us three more fluffy pillows and he did it the same day, without bothering us for anything and without putting any objection. This is our best stop on a trip to Portugal. The house has everything you need, it's just nice to be inside. We were still in the moment when the electricity and communication went missing in Portugal - so the hostess and her family showed unreal care - and they brought candles, and the grill was lit and offered food - well, we never had such a cool "apocalypse"! I definitely recommend!

A place with a nice garden where children can play, a courtesy dinner on the first day. Can't ask for more

The house is super nice and cozy, the patio is not finished but it's great to have a place to put the car. The house looks new, there is a little smell of humidity due to the humidity itself, but it is normal for the area, still the stay is very pleasant, with everything you need in a very quiet area. Ana's service is 10/10, a kind, attentive and thoughtful person. 100% Recommended stay. Thank you Ana and family❤️.

This is a unique place. Nothing compares with it. A small village of picturesque buildings - nevertheless, you do not have to miss anything of modern convenience - with the most beautiful and stunning nature. Amazing and must visit.

The only adversity was related to check-in. Mr. Lobo, host, was not present. Tirando this contrariety everything was perfect. The house is in a private place which guarantees a calm and quiet atmosphere. It was clean and is well equipped. It is perfect for a family holiday.
