I picked this location due to its proximity to the train station as I was traveling to Salina Cruz on the Tren Interoceánico. I departed by bus and the bus station is also conveniently nearby… appx 500m. It was very inexpensive and did not disappoint.

Un paraíso desconocido es Sal Marina. Por casualidad llegamos a este hermoso restaurante con cabañas, que tiene como principal anfitriona a una perrita llamada “Arena” que no hay forma de no terminar amándola. Tania te da una cálida bienvenida quién junto con sus familiares Julián y Carlos verdaderamente te hacen sentir en casa. Estaríamos una noche y terminamos quedándonos 3; nunca nos dijeron no a nada, la comida es un manjar, fresca, espectacular, sazonada, con los ingredientes justos, recetas únicas de casa, por lo menos en dos ocasiones repetimos platillos; que deberían probar en su visita, filete en aderezo de la casa y pescado frito al mojo de ajo. La vista del lugar hacia el mar es verdaderamente espectacular. Un imperdible en la vida. Gracias Tania, Julián, Carlos y Arena por hacer de estos días mágicos, en donde pude encontrarme por que es un lugar que solo da paz.

Marcos was very helpful, friendly and flexible. The room was clean and big, it has the basic things that you need. It does not have an air conditioning unit but has a roof fan. The place is not so far from town center if you want to walk but you can find moto taxis everywhere and they are cheap.

Acojedor, céntrico y tranquilo, nos sentimos a gusto. Jorge contesta de inmediato y tiene flexibilidad en los horarios. Desayunamos muy rico en el restaurante.

Al final nos quedamos dos noches de tanto que nos gustó el lugar. La playa perfecta y la alberca alivianaba el calor. Hay un restaurante y todo estaba muy rico y accesible. La habitación tenía aire acondicionado y todo era tal cual la descripción. Todos en el lugar fueron muy amables y siempre pendientes de las necesidades, incluso recomendaron un taxi de confianza cuando nos íbamos.

A great place well located right near the ADO bus station. I would recommend to anybody who wishes to see Tehuantepec. Nicole was very helpful and flexible when my bus arrived early unexpectedly, and was quick to respond.
