Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Astypalaia

From the moment we set foot into Golden View house we were greeted by stunning views of the township and our beautiful host who had prepared freshly baked authentic Greek food. The house was spacious, clean and has delightful views that we enjoyed from the balcony. We were very grateful for the warm welcome from our host and the local community who made us feel at home. Astypalaia was the perfect place for a relaxing and welcoming getaway while travelling with my sisters from Australia. Would highly recommend this place to stay!

Κάναμε 4 διανυκτερεύσεις. Εξαιρετική οικοδέσποινα η Πόπη, φιλική εξυπηρετική! Παραλάβαμε ένα σπίτι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, στρώματα και μαξιλάρια πολύ καλής ποιότητας, πεντακάθαρα όλα, καλής ποιότητας έπιπλα. Υπέροχη θέα, βλέπεις το κάστρο της Αστυπάλαιας, τους ανεμόμυλους και τα 2 νησάκια Κουτσομύτης και Κουνούπα. Το σπίτι δροσερό με τη χρήση του κλιματιστικού, αλλά πολλές φορές δεν χρειαζόταν λόγω του υψώματος. Μας περίμεναν δροσερά νερά, χυμοί και φρούτα. Ένα απόλυτο σπίτι για να περάσεις τις διακοπές σου ευχάριστα και όλα δίπλα σου! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα! Προσωπικά, θα ήθελα να ξαναμείνω πάλι αν έχω σκοπό να ξαναεπισκεφθώ την Αστυπάλαια.

Great place. Good location half way between windmills and the port. Lovely walk up to the bakery every morning! The apartment is lovely with several terraces. Stairs up to bedrooms are quite steep which was fine for us but just be aware if you might have trouble with that.

The apartment is big, recently renovated, and furnished with everything you may need during your vacation. The location is very good, with an open view of the port and the castle. The main area with restaurants and bars at the beginning of Chora is an easy 5-minute walk away. Angela was a great host, very attentive but also respectful of our privacy. She surprised us with homemade treats and even a little gift upon our departure. Amazing stay overall in the wonderful Astypalaia.

Thank you so much Eirini, what a wonderful home away from home. Based in the valley with stunning views and sounds of the countryside, so very peaceful. A different experience to many others in the islands, especially for nature lovers. Great base to explore the island from. We didn't have a car, and it was an easy walk to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. Astypaelea has a wonderful ecofriendly transport system on app with a stop a few minutes' walk to go to other beaches, Chora or if not keen on walking to Livadi beach area, this made it extremely accessible. The home is brand new, beautiful and set up to ensure a comfortable stay with 2 large balconies to sit and admire the view or have a drink in the evening. Lovely size bathroom, 2 large bedrooms with closets and a very comfortable lounge/sofa bed. Eirini had even left us some lovely local provisions on our arrival and has thought of everything to ensure a great stay. 4 nights just wasn't long enough, we will be back.

Lovely location at the South side of Astypalaia Chora. Amazing view. Tastefully decorated room with traditional elements. Free parking. We would highly recommend it.

Evgenios and Maria are the best hosts we have ever met! They are so kind and thoughtful. Evgenios arranged for us to be collected from and taken back to the ferry port. They greeted us warmly and kindly brought us delicious home-cooked treats. The apartment is spacious, tasteful and very well appointed, it is also spotlessly clean and well equipped. The views from the spacious terrace down to the port and the beach and up to Chora, the windmills and the castle are spectacular. We cannot fault this place at all and plan to return. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending this apartment.

die Unterkunft hat eine umwerfende Terrasse! wunderschöner Blick und wenn man es ruhig mag ist man richtig. es ist ganz einfach eingerichtet, das war ok für uns. es war sauber und die Menschen, die den Check-in und Check Out gemacht haben waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit..vielen Dank. eine Nachricht an den Besitzer dieses Hauses- das Badezimmer ist renivuerungsbedürftig - Türschnalle kaputt, Dusche hat keinen Wasserdruck...also das ist verbesserungswürdig. leider hat auch das WLAN nicht funktioniert, was für mich keine großes Problem darstellte. es ist ein idealer Ort zur Ruhe zu kommen..der Strand in Analipsi ist sehr schön...die Bäume geben Schatten und unsere Kinder hatten ideale Bedingungen zum surfen.

We had a wonderful stay in the levantis suite. The view from the jacuzzi pool and bee are stunning. Silence, privacy and romance were in any minute of our stay there. You get much more than you pay. The communication was on point for any need/recommendation. We will definitely visit Astypalaia and if not booked out, of course the same suite.

Anastasia è una host adorabile, estremamente gentile e sempre disponibile. Ha atteso il nostro arrivo fino a tarda ora e ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze. La casa si trova in una posizione comoda, proprio sotto i mulini della Chora, vicino a negozi, ristoranti e locali, ma allo stesso tempo è silenziosa con un piacevole spazio all’esterno e una bella vista sul mare. La casetta è ben organizzata, gli arredi, i colori e gli oggetti originali presenti all’interno rendono l’ambiente accogliente e speciale. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana bellissima ad Astypalea, anche grazie ad Anastasia e alla sua proprietà. Speriamo di poterci tornare presto.

We stayed at Anne's beautiful house for a week and we really, really loved it. It is a traditional old house right under the old castles walls in the main town of the island called Chora. It is renovated and very spacious. The interior and the decoration is very cozy and you can see Anne's love for Greece and Astypalea in every detail. The house gives you a very warm feeling and we felt like it was our own home. Also the location is perfect, it has a stunning view from the balcony, it is somehow safe from stronger winds and it is mostly perfectly quiet. The towns center is less than 5 minutes by foot so you can easily go to the supermarket or get your breakfast. And on your way you come across all those little "paths" and stairs that connect all of the houses in Chora which is just amazing. Anne, our stay was really wonderful. We enjoyed it very, very much. Thank you! P.s. It's also recommended for people who work remotely since there was a big table and good internet.

A beautiful, quiet location overlooking Livadi Beach. Right in the middle of 7 or 8 restaurants and still remarkably quiet and peaceful. A very comfortable covered terrace for dining and relaxing with an upper uncovered terrace for lying in the sun. Maria , the perfect host, still able to run the best restaurant in Astypalea always looked after us. Either in the apartment or dining on the beachfront. Everything is catered for with a supermarket next door that has everything and run by the friendliest family you will ever meet. You are made to feel welcome by all at Parathinalos Beach House and Livadi Beach. Highly, highly recommended.

Appartement agencé avec beaucoup de goût. Tout est impeccable. La vue sur le Kastro de la terrasse est très belle. Eleni a été très accueillante et nous a fait profiter de spécialités locales qu’elle avait cuisinées. N’hésitez pas à la solliciter pour les explications sur le meilleur accès à la maison et le fonctionnement d’Astybus (très pratique). Nous y reviendrions avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Το κατάλυμα ήταν πραγματικά πολύ όμορφο και προσεγμένο! Παραδοσιακό, με υπέροχη θέα στον Πέρα Γυαλό! Ο παραδοσιακός του χαρακτήρας δεν εμπόδισε καθόλου την ύπαρξη μοντέρνων παροχών. Το πάρκινγκ είναι δύο λεπτά με τα πόδια, όπως και οι ανεμόμυλοι. Το κάστρο απέχει 10’ με τα πόδια! Η οικοδέσποινα μας πάντα πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει, ειδικά στο ευέλικτο check in και check out.

A beautiful apartment with a narrow but awesome view. We had a little trouble finding the address but if you put in Gerani Delux Suites it is in that block. Veranda has a gorgeous sunrise. Very helpful having milk, cheese, wine and biscuits! The furnishings are simple and elegant. The AC took about 3 minutes to start but worked well. Lovely breeze coming through. Easy uphill walk to the windmills and the resteraunts at the top, about a 15 minute downhill walk to the town below. Overall a very pleasant experience! Frosso is lovely too!
