Guest house holiday rentals in Arrowtown

A true bed and breakfast in a sea of stale air bnbs! Sharon met me upon arrival and showed me to my private abode in the center of a working cherry (and other things!) farm. The fridge was stocked with eggs, milk, butter and bread, and there was a nespresso machine + a selection of teas. She also gave me a book of local wineries and their backgrounds which I greatly appreciated and used throughout my stay. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

Nice spot with awesome access to the lake, good parking and outside bath was great. Tidy cabin with good heating. Would recommend.

This place was amazing, only stayed one night and was planning to have dinner in the city, but once we saw the views from the front patio - we decided to stay in for dinner and watch the sunset from home !! Very clean place as well, and impressed by how many amenities they provided. Would definitely stay here again !

Very peaceful, private and sunny. Felt like it was brand new. Anita is so friendly. And the home made bread was delish! Would highly recommend.

Amazing house, amazing hosts, cool animals which you can feed! Setting is absolutely stunning, close enough to Queenstown but remote enough to feel the serene landscape, amazing night sky's too. Hosts went above and beyond and did everything with a smile. Great spot!!

Highly recommended. The hosts were incredible and very helpful. We travelled from Sydney with our 14 month old bub and we were able to check in 4 hours early to settle in. The place is beautiful, nice and tidy with great views. Definitely staying here again.

Suzanne’s property was the best decision we could have made for our trip. Gorgeous rustic design and a working ranch with deer stock nearby. Halfway between Queenstown and Glenorchy the location was perfect for a quiet retreat after a being out and about in town/nature. There are a few guest houses at the location and everyone was friendly and we had plenty of privacy while not being too isolated. Loved it and would stay again or recommend it to friends. This place is the “Four Seasons” of rural NZ. Located in a vineyard and a short walk to Lake Dunstan, this cute little cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts have thoughtfully designed the space and furnished it with all mod cons to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The stand out feature is of course the outdoor hot tub which we got to experience on a chilly autumn night after a long day of travel. Just ensure you let the hosts know so they can fire it up and have it ready for you to jump in. Can’t wait to tell family and friends all about this place so they can also experience this little slice of paradise.

We had an unforgettable four days here — it was so comfy that we ended up extending our stay! It truly felt like home. You’ll be amazed by all the thoughtful little touches Sharon and Brad have put into the place. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back again. We have to mention that Jet is the most friendly, adorable and gentle four legged fluffy friend we’ve ever met! We loved he’s visit and he definitely elevated the whole experience

This is a very new one bedroom apartment separated off from a house in a residential neighborhood about 15 minutes driving time from Queenstown. The space is very comfortable and the views from the area are really special. Emma and Paul were very proactive and caring, helping me with several issues that arose during my stay. The bed is very nice and the shower was great. Guests should know that as of 2025 Emma has an infant, so from time to time you can hear crying or playing inside the apartment. It's not bad, but you should have earplugs if you think that might bother you.

Very convenient location, just a few minutes drive from the town center! It was nice and cozy unit in a quiet neighborhood… Sandy was very responsive and helpful with addressing our needs. Great stay and would recommend!

The most amazing spot! Unbeatable views of mountains all around on a tranquil farm in Arrowtown. Truly a special place. So much better than paying a similar amount for something tiny in Queenstown. Our 2 kids (7 & 4) also loved having their own little ‘wing’ complete with giant soft toys, a TV, bathroom & wardrobe. Three small buildings are joined by a central semi-outdoor area, but you can mainly close this from the elements with two large doors. It made the stay feel like an adventure and we all loved it! The master ‘wing’ felt luxurious with beautiful views from the bed. Double-head shower was a nice touch. The kitchen/living space was stylish and really comfortable with everything you need. Looking out to a mountain range from the dining table was perfection. Weber BBQ outside was great. We loved the cats / dogs / cows - all so friendly. Close to Arrowtown and the 20 min drive to Queenstown was a breeze. Recommend the scenic drive to Wanaka too. Highly recommend this stay!

What a georgeous, quiet, spacious property for my husband and I in the final days of our NZ holiday - a perfect way to finish our trip. Everything was spotlessly clean and the private courtyard was perfect for morning coffee (thanks to the Nespresso Coffee machine). The most comfortable bed of our trip - it was so lovely not to wake up with a sore lower back and hips each morning and the temperature was perfect for sleeping. We loved that the bathrooms had underfloor heating and sensor lighting under the vanities once it got dark outside. Communication with Sandy was easy and her instructions were easy to follow. Overall 10/10 and can highly recommend.

Open space and very beautiful Surroundings. The house has high ceilings compared to other normal hotel rooms or studio apartments which makes the place looks super elegant. Nice green and mountain views from inside living and bedroom. The hosts are super friendly and responsive at all times. Strongly recommend this stay in Wānaka as the location is very peaceful.

Our stay at Mei's place was great. Very comfortable and cosy and has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, and felt quite comfortable. The accommodation was exactly as shown and nice and clean. The wifi was good which was really helpful for work purposes. We also really enjoyed the fire pit. Would definitely recommend it.

Cosy and beautiful apartment with a nice view to boot! Came with a nice little garden with a tree house and trampoline that kids will always want to jump in. About 8 min into the main town.

Loved the rustic cabin. You can't beat the quiet and beautiful surroundings. If you are ok with a little bit of a drive into town and willing to exchange that for a beautiful sunrise and seclusion with your host just a short walk away, this is for you.

Really lovely house with a sweet little garden at the back. We were travelling with two small children and it was perfect. A lovely distance from the town and really nice walks nearby. The house was spotless and had super comfy beds and an amazing shower. We would definitely return. Thank you so much for having us!

Everything was exceptional at Jaimee's: it is quiet, clean, modern (with a super-comfy bed!) and Jaimee is an excellent communicator. The unit is very well laid out and provides an ideal launching point for activities in the area. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Queenstown and the view was great. I don't hesitate to recomend Jaimee's place to others visiting Queenstown and the surrounding area.

A delightful place in a gorgeous part of the country with lovely hosts . Everything top quality and comfortable with little extras like fruit ,fresh milk delicious homemade Musli , Vogel’s and homemade marmalade. Thanks guys We would definitely stay again.
