We had a great stay at this property. It is central to all of the beaches for the Normandy landings. The property was nice and clean felt spacious private area nice and quiet.Port Bessin is only a 10 minute drive with lots of restaurants and is a lovely place to walk around.

L’appartement est très fonctionnel, bien agencé et décoré avec goût et modernité. Philippe a eu à cœur que notre séjour soit le plus confortable possible et était très disponible. Si nous avions pu, nous aurions prolongé notre séjour.

Séjour très agréable dans un petit village superbe et présentant toutes les commodités à pied. Logement impeccable et bien agencé, décoré avec goût. Accueil des animaux possible : un plus pour mon chat. Seul petit bémol en période touristique, de petites difficultés pour trouver une place de parking à proximité mais il y a ce qu'il faut à 800 mètres et on peut se mettre dans la rue pour charger et décharger.

Le chalet de la mer est très cosy, très agréable et bien équipée Le jardin et la terrasse sont vraiment un plus nous avons passés un très bon week-end entre filles

Wie kann man es am besten beschreiben wenn man sich in einer Airbnb-Unterkunft wie eine Prinzessin gefühlt hat?🥰 Die 1899 gebaute Villa La Sapinière liegt ruhig in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Anne hatte uns vor unserer Ankunft schon ausführliche Informationen über die genaue Lage der Wohnung geschickt. In der Wohnung lag außerdem noch ein nützliches Handbuch. Beim Betreten der Wohnung stieg uns gleich ein sehr angenehmer Duft in die Nase und auch die Handseife hat sehr gut gerochen. Für unseren Hund lag unter der Treppe im Eingangsbereich ein Handtuch bereit was wir sehr geschätzt haben, da es gerade stark geregnet hatte. Im Kühlschrank warteten Orangensaft und Wasser auf uns. Das Appartement ist ein wunderschönes, helles Atelier mit farblich perfekt aufeinander abgestimmter, sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Es war alles makellos sauber und das Schlafzimmer mit dem Teppichboden war unglaublich gemütlich. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt sehr auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort❤ Danke Anne!

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. If you're looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, and truly welcoming place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophie’s place to anyone. Un logement pratique, bien équipé et à la décoration sobre, idéalement situé sur le port de Grandcamp, dans une résidence parfaitement sécurisée. Tout est accessible à pied, les restaurants, les commerces et la plage...

Un appartement qui permet une déconnexion complète. On s’est senti tellement reposé.. Se lever avec la vue mer c’est juste incroyable. On ne s’en lasse pas et on a élu l’appartement comme notre résidence secondaire de Cabourg! On a hâte d’y revenir! Merci à Karine pour sa souplesse, et l’accueil.

Agréable séjour au calme. Logement impeccable et spacieux. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et à l'écoute. L'espace piscine est incroyable à l abris du vent malgré des températures moyennes. Une sorte de micro climat s'oppere en ce lieu. je recommande

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely accommodation. Hosts very welcoming. Ideal location for visiting D Day beaches. Lovely breakfast each morning with homemade delicious cake. Dans la campagne normande, à proximité immédiate de la mer et au cœur des plages du débarquement, ce logement entièrement rénové et à la propreté irréprochable mérite amplement ces 5 étoiles! Les hôtes sont au petit soin, mention spéciale pour la bouteille de cidre. Nous y avons passé en famille un séjour mémorable, en souvenir de ceux qui sont tombés sur cette terre.

The perfect place to stay to experience the history of the area during D Day celebrations. Easy to access all that the town has to offer and imagine what it would have been like to live there. Right in the middle of everything, yet quiet at nighttime. Perfect space for a family of four. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, l’appartement était impeccable, la résidence sécurisée et à deux pas de la plage et de restaurants ; Olivier a été très attentionné et nous a conseillé des activités à Villers que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Location was excellent, both in the town... Steps from the water) and Arromanches (ah row monsh) itself. Apartment was wonderful. Bed was firm but comfortable. Comforter was too warm for the great weather we had... We exchanged it with the second bedroom and it was perfect. Very clean place. Shower was perhaps the best I've had in Europe, but be mindful... Hot water doesn't last forever. Limited amt of consumables. No kleenex, no body soap or shampoo, one roll of tp. Did come with a few coffee pods and sugar, but no creamer. Washer was a bit challenging to figure out but worked well when I did. Found no instructions in English lonline or in unit so trial and error. Great base for exploring Normandie. Parked in large pay lot just up the main road... Free from 7p to 9a, so for us just a few euros per day. Free parking was scarce. Best to explore town early or late. Loved it but wish we'd had time to visit bayeux also. Three days is not enough to really see the area.

Nous avons passée une excellente semaine dans ce logement. L'ensemble correspondait aux photos, que ce soit l'intérieur ou la vue reposante sur la mer. La literie est de qualité et le logement vaut le prix demandé. L'hôte s'est montrée discrète tout au long du séjour (sauf si nous avions besoin par message), nous l'avons juste rencontré pour la remise des clés avant notre départ. Elle est aimable et souriante. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement ou nous reviendrons si nous avons l'occasion de passer en Normandie.

The host was super helpful and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. The location was great — peaceful, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do.
