This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Such a great place! We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at this charming country home! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease and welcomed. The house was beautifully decorated, had a hot tub and a pool, and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect for our family getaway—plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore, while the adults enjoyed the serene views and fresh air. It was one of the most relaxing and most memorable weekend getaways we've ever had. The host was also incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing great local tips that enhanced our experience. This country home was the ideal retreat to unwind, reconnect, and create lasting family memories. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming escape from the city. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was truly incredible, best Airbnb we’ve ever been too. There was so much to do around the home with all of the available amenities. It’s very cozy, we felt right at home. The home is super close to local restaurants and grocery stores. It was quite the experience. Scott is an amazing host, we highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making our first trip to Canada a very memorable experience. We hope to visit and stay again sometime in the future.

La maison était très belle et l’environnement très tranquille. Tout est bien équipé et bien aménagé. La seule petite chose qui nous a un peu déplu était qu’il y avait des cheveux/poils dans un des lits à notre arrivée. La vaisselle aussi était parfois sale, mais je crois que c’est la responsabilité des anciens locataires. L’emplacement est super, près des commodités.

Excellent séjour dans ce logement spacieux, confortable et très bien équipé ! Erin était disponible, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. L'emplacement est idéal. La piscine était propre et bien chauffée, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande quantité de serviettes mises à disposition. Je recommande vivement ce logement à tous ceux qui recherchent un lieu agréable pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis !

Exceptional Modern Accommodation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic property. The modern amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay truly unforgettable. The mud room area was a game-changer for storing ski equipment, and the foosball table brought endless joy to both kids and adults. The property was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with every detail considered. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, with basics like oil, seasoning, foil, and even ziplock bags - a testament to the host's generosity and thoughtfulness. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay.

I’m a local from Ottawa and stayed in this Airbnb for a month. The hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating, and checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly. The space was spotless, and the backyard garden was a truly beautiful. I highly recommend this stay to any medical students or residents rotating through the Ottawa General Hospital. It offers comfort, convenience, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Gee was a wonderful host! Her home was very inviting, hospitable and very well kept. We felt right at home. The location was easily accessible to shopping and amenities and not too far from downtown Ottawa. Given our very late arrival, Gee ensured that we had some starter items like water and snacks which was much appreciated after a long day of flying. I would certainly recommend as well as book again. It is obvious why Gee is a super host.

Wow!!! Stunning place! This host has gone above and beyond to make everyone feel so welcome and at home. The cottage is so well designed and there is so much thought and effort gone into designing g the cottage. Pictures don’t really showcase how beautiful this place is. Shallow and clear water. We will be back for sure.

Some places are just houses. Others hold space and pause. From the first moment we walked in, "The River Retreat" welcomed us like a warm hug. My siblings and I came here to honour the one-year anniversary of our mother’s passing, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. Peaceful, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. Every room, view, and amenity gave us a chance to breathe, reflect, and spend quality family time together. We tried all the amenities, including the hot tub, canoe, kayaks, fire pit, and pool table. But our favourite pass time and location was definitely the home cooked meals around the round table overlooking the river. We left feeling full in every sense. Thank you Marlene and Morgan for being such fantastic hosts! We’ll absolutely be back.

Absolutely stunning cottage on a beautiful lake. The sunken living room with custom couches had more than enough space for our group of 10. The floating party pad in the lake was perfect for lounging in the sun, the outdoor shower by the hot tub was a nice touch after an amazing soak overlooking the lake and views. Perfect cottage getaway, everyone loved it!

My family and I stayed here and we absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful and fully stocked with plenty of items. My family and I felt right at home from the beautiful furnishing to the fully stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very kind and responsive throughout. One of the things I loved the most were the snacks. I’ve been to many air b and bs and I rarely see added snacks and water so that was a bonus. Overall the hosts are very thoughtful and as a guest I really appreciate that. I would highly recommend this place. The only minor improvements I’d like to see is the doors were a little squeaky so WD40 will fix that. The location is a bit far from the city but nice if you want a get away from the hustle and bustle. 5 STARS ⭐️

What a place!!! We had a blast this weekend and the house is absolutely gorgeous !!!

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

If you’re looking for a very clean, comfortable tranquil place- this is it! Jennifer and Daniel have set the bar high for homes. Fabulous neighborhood with shops nearby. So helpful, friendly and communicative. I would highly recommend this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lisa's place! The spacious layout made us feel right at home. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large fridge, pots, and pans, making it easy to prepare meals. One of the highlights for us was the basement bedroom, which is perfect for those who prefer a cooler environment. Meanwhile, the upstairs bedrooms are great for those who enjoy a warmer atmosphere. The hot tub was another standout feature of our stay, providing the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The location is fantastic as well; there's a lovely path along the river for walks, and being close to the train station made it easy to visit downtown without the hassle of parking. Overall, we highly recommend Lisa's place for a comfortable and convenient getaway!
