Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Armamar

The place was basic and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. I was shown around before handed the keys. Parking is free around the apartment but tight so be careful with hire cars (mine was scratched). It's about a 10min walk into the town area, there is a great family run restaurant to the right of the apartment and a few bars nearby. The nearest big supermarket is about 3mins drive away.

Excelente alojamento, perfeito para uma estadia mais longa. A facilidade e flexibilidade do check-in e check-out são um ponto positivo a apontar.

Place is great in a quiet location in the countryside with good ammenities including pool and outdoor seating. The third bed option could be a bit more comfy (pull out bed) but otherwise everything was wonderful. João is a really friendly host and allowed us to pick blueberries for breakfast which were delicious. Recommend staying here!

Estadia impecável, apartamento muito bem localizado, próximo às termas de São Pedro do Sul. Apartamento muito bem equipado, ótimo para passar alguns dias longe dos grandes centros urbanos. Anfitrião muito atencioso e amigável, explicou todo o processo de check in com recurso a vídeo e ainda nos indicou restaurante e locais a visitar durante a estadia. Sem dúvida uma experiência a repetir.

Excelente hospedagem no centro de Vila Real! O senhor Manuel e sua esposa nos recepcionaram com muita simpatia e cordialidade. O apartamento tem estilo no centro histórico. Nos sentimos muito bem durante os dias que ali passamos. Recomendo!!

An outstanding Airbnb in a beautiful location. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of several different places to sit in the garden and enjoy the spectacular views of the Douro valley. But it's the hosts that make this place so special. Casimiro and his son Manuel represent what Airbnb is all about; they personally welcomed us, offering lots of recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants, but were never intrusive. Casimiro's wife had prepared a tray of 'entradas' - a Portuguese starter of cured meats, cheeses, bread and olives - plus a bottle of local wine. A couple of days later Casimiro appeared with an huge bowl of cherries from their own orchard. This Airbnb wasn't just somewhere to stay for a few nights, but an experience to be treasured.

We stayed in Fernanda's apartment for four nights. The apartment has wonderful views of Amarante. The driveway is a little steep and narrow but it's worth navigating to stay in a compact but clean, comfortable and well designed modern apartment within walking distance of the town. Fernanda was a friendly and helpful host and we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Amarante. We highly recommend the apartment and would definitely stay there again.

Nunca nos esqueceremos dos mergulhos na bela piscina com o por do sol, das gargalhadas e danças que duravam o dia inteiro. Vocês criaram um verdadeiro refúgio, onde nos sentimos em casa. We had a wonderful stay at Quinta Vila Poucha. The location was amazing close to Regua but away from the hustle and bustle. You do really need a car to make the most of this location, we walked up the hillside to the Quinta de Barca vineyard (2km hilly walk) we also got the train from Caldas do Moledo a couple of times (35 minutes walk along a busy road). We were looking for a quite relaxed place where we could cook meals and enjoy time together and we got it! The Quinta is massive very comfortably would sleep 4 or 5 people. There was a large dining room that we didn't even use, most eating outside or in the kitchen. We helped ourselves to fresh limes and pomegranates, and bought and drank the lovely wines left for guests. We couldn't find a BBQ or Kettle, so bought them and left for future guests. Our only improvement would be some additional garden furniture, the terrace and balcony are real sun traps and I struggled to get comfortable. We'd love to stay again!

A Adriana é uma anfitrião fantástica, casa simples mas muito confortável, cozinha bem equipada com tudo necessário para ser utilizada. O único ponto menos positivo (não para mim), distancia de qualquer espaço comercial.

Superou as expectativas. No que esperamos de um espaço para desfrutar, encontramos além do espaço, pessoas que nos fazem sentir em casa. Da habitação tudo impecável; do espaço exterior, dispusemos para além do que nos seria confinado; do contacto, foi como estar com alguém que conhecíamos de sempre e com uma hospitalidade e honestidade, que só as melhores pessoas alcançam. Muito obrigado ao Sr Euripedes e esposa, bem hajam e até á próxima.

Was spacious, I actually ended up liking the location. About 25mins to the river. Authentic setting, cute little town. Along with shared but spacious gravel parking. AC works. Quiet location. Recommend i think for a few days in the area in general. Set back with one other accommodation feels private enough. Should have everything needed. Bed okay. Wifi ok. I think overall ok.

Casa muito bonita, com um jardim muito colorido e uma vista impressionante. Os anfitriões muito simpaticos e disponiveis para o que fosse preciso. Uma recepcao com um bolinho e uma limonada mesmo a calhar.

Um espaço bom para descansar. Deu para visitar Lamego, a Régua, Pinhão (restaurante Bufete 👌) e o fantástico Mosteiro de São João de Tarouca. Não perder a capela mais antiga de Portugal - São João de Bartolomeu. Tudo impecável.

La maison vintage est au milieu des vignes et dispose d’une grande piscine avec une vue incroyable sur la vallée !! La maison est confortable avec une petite cuisine, les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables et tout le jardin avec les orangers, les vignes et les arbres fruitiers appelle à la détente et à la contemplation. Manuel et sa femme sont adorables. Un bel endroit pour faire une halte et découvrir la vallée du Douro.
