Cottage holiday rentals in Ardales

Vi havde en skøn og afslappende uge. Huset var skønt og det var hvad vi skulle bruge. Porten ville ikke åbne en dag vi skulle på tur. Vi kontaktede solymar Holidays, og vi fik hjælp i løbet af 20 min. De bedste anbefalinger herfra.

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Super mooie finca met prachtig zwembad. Ons huisje was top en had een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras en vanuit de jacuzzi!

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa was clean, the beds were comfy, the pool was great and the views were stunning! it was approximately 20 mins walk to La Joya and 35 mins to Hotel Fuente del Sol, so was easy to get around as well.

Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war schon vor Anreise hervorragend. Der Empfang herzlich - die Gastgeberin und ihr Lebensgefährte sind äußerst hilfreich gewesen und einfach besonders liebenswerte Menschen. Ich habe mich dort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Gleichzeitig bietet das kleine Haus in dem an untergebracht ist mit dem wunderschönen Garten totale Privatsphäre. Die Orangenbäume durften "geplündert" werden - frischer Orangensaft jeden Morgen. Der Blick in die Berge ist herrlich. Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Chillen und bei sich sein. Abends hörte ich die Glöckchen der Ziegen von den nahen Hügeln. Dazu einige Hunde, die fast wie Wölfe heulen konnten. Fand ich schön. Man hört zwar auch Flugzeuge - aber das habe ich bald nicht mehr wahrgenommen, weil ich mich so wohl gefühlt habe und dafür ist die Lage ja auch fantastisch. Der Platz ist authentisch - man ist wirklich in Spanien. Ich hoffe ich kann dort bald wieder hin. Unbedingte Empfehlung.

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende im Monte Naturivo! Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten wunderschöner Natur und ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Alles war absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt – man merkt, wie viel Liebe hier in jedes Detail gesteckt wird. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom tollen Pool, dem entspannenden Hamam und dem wunderschönen Yoga-Raum – ideal zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Monte Naturivo ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort, den wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können.

Just retuned from a 1 week stay at the Cassita! Lovely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and plenty to do if you’re happy to drive. Our two children loved the pool too. Kila was very responsive and friendly and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thanks again.

Nous avons passé une super semaine à la Finca el Cerro ! Lieu agréable et à l'écart de la ville, ce qui nous a donné un réel sentiment de vacances. La propriétaire est très gentille, merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueilli !

Wat een geweldig verblijf! We werden vriendelijk onthaald en voelden ons meteen thuis. Als je op zoek bent naar een moderne, luxe woning is dit misschien niet meteen iets voor jou. Voor ons was het alleszins perfect! De woning was proper en alles is voorzien wat er nodig is. De ligging is ideaal: rustig gelegen. Je bent op je gemak, privé. Het zwembad is een geweldige troef: puur genieten. Als ik 1 puntje kan zeggen wat misschien iets minder was is dat het toilet en douche buiten het huisje gelegen is. (als je 's nachts naar toilet moet ofzo) maar opzich voor ons niet storend. Wanneer we vragen hadden, kregen we ook meteen antwoord via bericht. We zijn zeer tevreden over ons verblijf en zouden niet twijfelen om terug te komen :-)

I cannot rate this place high enough. It’s a slice of heaven and a place of dreams. If you want to get away from the world but be close enough to be in Malaga within 15 minutes, I don’t think you can do better. The work and effort that Juan and Ana have put into this place is outstanding. It’s secluded, it’s peaceful, it’s surrounded by beautiful vistas. It’s only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Malaga, but you feel in your own, private world. From here I visited Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada. I also spent days doing nothing at all, just laying by the pool or swimming, relaxing in peace and reading. It’s such a wonderful place. May I please say a particular thanks to Juan, who is the most charming and friendly host you can hope to meet. The pride and passion he has for the home and the area is incredible. He was an absolute pleasure. Kind hearted and patient while I practiced my terrible Spanish on him. I look forward to returning and miss being there already.

Casa rural en entorno rural, acogedora e intima. Ideal para niños, mascotas y muy tranquilo. El lugar esta situado en la Sierra de las Nieves, en el campo. Es una casa de campo de 1900, reformada y con las comodidades actuales. La anfitriona (Belen), estuvo muy cercana para resolvernos un problemilla. Muy amable y atenta. si buscas estar tranquilo y desconectar te lo recomiendo.

Maravillosa experiencia. Javier estuvo muy atento en todo momento y servicial. La casa es tal como se describe y equipada al máximo. Nos hizo sentir como en casa. Gracias Javier por la experiencia, volveremos!!!

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

Walter y Sabina tienen una cabaña de ensueño. Es un lugar precioso y muy tranquilo. Los anfitriones nos recibieron y fueron siempre encantadores. Lo Recomiendo a todo el mundo que busque un ratito de paz. Nosotros ya estamos deseando repetir!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jarandalus for 5 days, looking for a peaceful home in beautiful surroundings, and we got exactly that. The house and gardens are amazing, and the views are breath taking. The home feels luxurious, and Salvador and Isabel were warm and welcoming when we arrived, and Salvador was available and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The barbecue was excellent, the pool was lovely, and we greatly enjoyed being in the grounds of the house. The location has fantastic views and is close to several small towns, and only 30 minutes from Ronda, so is convenient but is at enough distance to give a peaceful and quiet stay. This was well worth the money, we loved our stay, and hope to return some day in the future.

Een leuk huis op een prachtige lokatie. Het huis is goed uitgerust met alle benodigdheden. Het zwembad is heel privé en echt prachtig met het uitzicht erbij. We zagen wel 12 grote roofvogels terwijl we bij het zwembad zaten :) Heel gaaf! Een fijne plek als uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van bijvoorbeeld Ronda en Sevilla.

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Teresa and José’s beautiful villa and we miss it already. It was charming, authentic and spotlessly clean - it’s even better than the photos. We felt right at home and it had everything we needed. José and Teresa met us at the villa and gave us a warm welcome. The wine, milk, fresh fruit and bread from the local bakery was a lovely surprise. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries, José even came to remove a small wasp nest for us! We absolutely loved the swimming pool and the views were gorgeous. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, we wished we could have stayed for longer!

Julie’s place is lovely! Rustic in a beautiful way, up in the mountains and close to the land. Being an eco lodge, it’s solar-powered with some constraints around energy use in the evenings, but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, even as a group of 8 squeezing in. The outdoor area in particular is special - with a large dining table, grilling area, pool, and sports area, all with spectacular views of the surroundings. Julie is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. If you stay at her place you’ll be in great hands

Ons verblijf bij Odile en Jeepee was fantastisch, we voelden ons zeer welkom. niettegenstaande de vertraging van de vlucht en het late uur van aankomst. Ze zijn beiden heel warme mensen (dank je voor de leuke aperitiefjes samen), die altijd klaar staan voor een babbel, informatie over de streek, suggesties… zonder zich op te dringen. De woning zelf is en zeker de buitenruimte is veel ruimer dan je van de foto.s zou verwachten. Bij het huis zelf is er een ruim terras met buitenkeuken, maar bij het zwembad is er een nog veel groter overdekt terras waar je kan loungen, eten,… Het zwembad is fantastisch, heel privé met een prachtig uitzicht. De locatie is perfect om op stap te gaan in de regio: Cordoba (2 uur rijden via de Siërra de Nieves, heel mooie route), Ronda (1 uur), de kust met Marbella, Puerto Banyus en Malaga in de nabijheid. En dan natuurlijk de kleinere stadjes dichtbij Monda (met een prachtig Castello waar je lekker kan eten en van het uitzicht kan genieten), Tolox en Guaro.

A great place to spend time with family, surrounded by mountains. Parents will find peace, while kids can have fun in the pool. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong in the terrace. Inside the house, there’s enough space for two families. There are air conditioners in every room, although we didn’t use them at all – even when it was +30°C outside, the house stayed pleasantly cool. Arriving at the villa at night felt a bit extreme, so it’s important not to rely solely on navigation – pay attention to the signs as well, especially when you’re close to the villa. Jose is a very warm and friendly host 👌

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

We absolutely loved our stay in Atalaya. The house, the grounds, the view, the location - seclusion and good walks nearby: all divine. Did not want to leave!
