Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Aqaba Governorate

Layla was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions or problems. The house is ideal for a group of friends with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces inside and outside. Layla's breakfast was lovely and substantial and was varied every day of our three day stay. Layla also cooked us a meal on the day we arrived which was very welcome after a long day travelling. The location is just by the rear entrance to Petra. This means you either need your own transport or use taxis to get to the main entrance (which you must do on your first day visiting Petra to get your ticket - even if you have a Jordan Pass) or to get to restaurants. Entering Petra by the rear entrance on subsequent days is very convenient, however leaving that way does require a long climb.

Wadi Feynan and Gregra are really hot in the summer, and as a geologist this is a tough place to do field work. Mohammed's place was perfect for us to escape the heat and have a air-conditioned room. Also, Mohammed's English is excellent, which really helped when we had truck troubles. The accommodation is modest, three single beds in a room and a bathroom, and there are no electrical outlets besides the one for the air conditioner. But, the place was clean, and was a perfect escape from the heat. Moreover, Mohammed is a great host and willing to help with anything you need.

Le séjour chez Atef à été vraiment sympa. La vue du logement était super et la communication avec Atef était très fluide. Nous y étions au moment de l'aïd et son frère nous a apporter un plat fait maison ce soir la ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécier. La maison est en hauteur et à 10 minutes du site de Petra mais l'endroit est paisible. Petit bémol pour le wifi mais à part ça au top. merci pour tout

The place was spacious and clean for our family of five. The beds were comfortable for a good nights rest. Some downsides were that the bathroom was small and water in shower wouldn’t drain quickly. There is also no microwave but we were happy that a washing machine was provided. The WiFi was very slow & didn’t really work until the last night when the host helped us. The host Yahya was very responsive, friendly and accommodating to our needs. Overall we had a pleasant stay! Thank you

J’ai passé 4 nuits chez Amanda. L’immeuble est très bien situé près des principaux axes routiers quand on a une voiture. Le centre ville est à 10 min en voiture et les plages de south beach sont à moins de 20 min. On trouve facilement de la place pour se garer dans la rue. Le logement est grand, très propre et fonctionnel même si je n’ai pas utilisé la cuisine. De nombreux canapés pour se détendre. L’air conditionné fonctionne très bien. La salle de bain est agréable. Le lit de la grande chambre est très confortable. Le seul petit souci est le voisinage qui peut s’avérer bruyant. Je reviendrais sans problème.

Akef est un hôte extraordinaire vraiment il est aux petits soins. Moi ami et moi étions bien accueillis, l’appartement est propre, fidèle à la description. Akef nous a proposé des services : repas, petit déjeuné….je vous conseille de les essayer, ça nous fait tellement plaisir de manger plats faits maisons et délicieux. Il n’y a pas une demande qui n’a pas été acceptée par Akef. Il nous a proposé aussi des transport avec des gens du village pour aller à Petra et cela nous a bien redu service. Il nous a même organisé notre voyage à Wadi Rum et Aqaba…. Donc je tiens à remercie Akef de rentré notre voyage merveilleux et de ce fait je le recommande sans aucune hésitation. Un voyage incroyable qui restera gravé dans notre mémoire. Akef nous a fait une offre pour rester un jour supplémentaire avec transport gratuits de Aqaba à petra malheureusement nous avions déjà des réservations mais cela vous indique à quel point il est très génial 👍

Ismaeel great host , An unforgettable rooftop experience! We enjoyed the panoramic view of the city and mountains and the sea . The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. I would definitely stay here again

From the moment we booked until checkout, everything was smooth, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly responsive, friendly, and always ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved spending time at the beach and swimming pool, both of which were clean and well-maintained. A special highlight was the **Beach Club breakfast restaurant**—the service was amazing, and the staff there went above and beyond to make our mornings delightful. Amazing location! I really enjoyed staying in Magic View apartment. The host was super friendly and helpful. I think I couldn't find a better place in Wadi Musa. And the view was really beautiful. The house was located a little bit further from the center of the city, but I didn't minde since I had a car. There was air conditioning so it was warm during chilly nights.

We had a fantastic stay at Tala Bay! The compound is beautiful, with access to all the pools and beaches — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The vibe throughout the place is vibrant and welcoming, and there are plenty of great restaurants to choose from. Although we arrived a bit later than planned, Jamal was incredibly generous and allowed us to extend our checkout time the next day, which gave us some extra time to enjoy the place — a gesture we truly appreciated. Highly recommended — not only for the location and amenities but also for the excellent service. We’ll definitely be back! Shukran!
