Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Aptera

Die Kommunikation mit Electra war super. Nachdem wir ihr gesagt haben, wann wir ankommen, hat sie uns an der Straße in Empfang genommen und zum Haus begleitet. Dort hat sie uns alle Räumlichkeiten gezeigt, zudem gab’s ein Gastgeschenk. Sie hat uns nützliche Informationen zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Elektra ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Vermieter. Das Haus selbst war sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Von der Dachterrasse konnte man das Meer erblicken. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen🙂

We spent a few wonderful days at Anastasia-Maria`s place around the Greek Easter celebration. Anastasia was so nice to prepare a table with different typical Easter things, like the red Easter eggs, the Lambades, some Koulourakia, the EasterBrioche and had prepared little notes to explain the easter traditions. That was amazingly kind !!! Whenever we had a question she answered within a very short time, always helpful and very friendly. The place is a beautifully calm place, where two adults and one teenager could recharge indoors and outdoors. It would easily fit another two people. We had regular cat visitors outside the kitchen door :) You will need a car to get there and to explore places like Rethimno, Chania, Elafonissi or Preveli. There are taverns in the surrounding villages and a Mini-supermarket 5 minutes by car down the road. We can highly recommend this place and will come back in the future. The location of villa Adriana is perfect for people who love the quiet country side. No neighbours, but some goats , sheep and a cat who can see you walking in pyjamas in the garden in the morning. Very comfy and really huge beds! The kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook. There could be more light above the (electric) stove. The one from the extractor hood didn’t work. Compared with the beautiful bathroom and bedroom downstairs the kitchen is rather outdated. It was fine to cook nevertheless , especially with the delicious olive oil Alexandros gave us! Unfortunately it was not warm enough -end April, start of May- to swim in the pool, but the view of the pool with the garden full of flowers and olive trees and, on the background, the mountains still covered with a bit of snow was stunning anyway! I loved the road to the house: first drive through the village with narrow streets and then through the olive yards. Last but not least: the host Alexandros is very kind as well!

Superbe maison, très bien située , endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maman de Gregoris nous a très amicalement accueillis et nous a fourni d excellents conseils. Je recommande sans hésiter.

We had a wonderful time in the villa. Manolis was always very helpful and provided us support whenever we needed. I would absolutly recommend the villa. Especially the view is outstanding

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! L’appartement est spacieux, décoré avec goût et très bien entretenu. Tout était parfaitement propre à notre arrivée. La literie est confortable, la cuisine est entièrement équipée (vaisselle, cafetière, four, etc.), et il y a même des petites attentions comme du café et quelques produits de base, ce qui est très appréciable. Le quartier est calme et agréable, tout en étant proche des commerces, des restaurants et des plages. L’hôte a été exceptionnel : très réactif, disponible pour répondre à nos questions, et chaleureux dans sa communication. On sent qu’il tient vraiment à ce que ses voyageurs passent un bon moment. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter et reviendrons avec plaisir si l’occasion se présente !

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig, urig eingerichtet und bietet 3 gemütliche Schlafzimmer. Es gibt einen großen ruhigen Innenhof mit Sitzgelegen und man kann gut draußen Essen. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen und aufzuhängen. Wir haben uns riesig über einen bereitgestellten Korb voll Orangen, Osterbrot, Kekse, Wasser und anderes gefreut! 😊 Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem kleinen Bergdorf und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen (wie Wanderungen) in der Gegend. Die Küstenstädte Chania sowie Rhetymno sind in ca. 40 Minuten erreichbar. Auch schöne Strände sind nicht weit (mit dem Auto!). Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: WLAN und Internet generell war eher schwierig.

Villa anasa exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice, the attention to detail in the interior is impressive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Gorgios was a gracious host and helpful in every way possible.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement très bien équipé, propre et conforme à l’annonce. L’accès direct à la mer est un vrai atout, idéal pour en profiter à tout moment de la journée. L’hôte, qui habite juste en dessous, a été très accueillant et disponible. À noter toutefois : la route proche peut être bruyante en soirée, ce qui peut gêner les personnes sensibles au bruit. Malgré cela, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Merci pour votre accueil !

Het was een perfecte plek! George en familie waren erg gastvrij! Onze dochter mocht zelfs even boven spelen met zijn kinderen! Appartement was mooi, ruim en erg schoon! Met grote balkons (met een fantastisch uitzicht) en een ruime tuin die perfect was voor onze 4 jarige dochter. Van de tuin kregen we sla, eieren, schapenmelk en olijfolie. In de buurt snel bij het strand, lekkere restaurantjes en wandelroutes. Voor herhaling vatbaar! Wij hebben genoten :).

This place is truly special. We enjoyed our time here so much. George’s parents-George and Alexandra were the best! Always a warm and friendly greeting. They were so kind and helpful. Their dog was also super sweet. They really made us feel at home. The place was great. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The view was to die for!! Just spectacular. Every morning waking up and looking out the window made you feel such a sense of peace. The location was fabulous. Close to so many wonderful restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. In case you can’t tell, we totally loved our stay. You will not be disappointed with this lovely little gem. Highly recommend!

Words can’t describe how incredible this home is. Every corner you looked there was a masterpiece to be found. Beautifully decorated is an understatement, this Airbnb was curated over years and years of living. It was nested in the heart of the town. I will 100% be coming back. Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Petros était une hôte génial et disponible. Il nous a accueilli avec de magnifiques attentions et s'est montré ultra disponible pour la moindre demain. L'appartement était juste MAGNIFIQUE. Le service, les attentions et l'équipement ont fait que nous avons passé un super moment entre amis, dans ce qui est certainement le plus bel et luxueux appartement dans lequel j'ai pu résider. Et tout ceci en plein centre ville de la Canée. Je recommande fortement.

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

We had a very pleasant stay with our 4 month old baby. The hosts where very accommodating and overall the apartment is well equipped. Location wise its super close to nice beaches and to the lovely villages around Vamos. Also Chania is easily reachable by car. All in all very recommended. Only downside were the sheets, but its typical for greece. I guess we are spoiled with our egyption cotton/satin fitted sheets🤣

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful and convenient holiday with children. Wissam,

We had a wonderful, peaceful & relaxing week in this beautiful house. Amazing location, stylish, spacious, comfortable & very well-equipped. It’s 3 minutes from the small town of Sellia (3 or 4 nice traditional restaurants & small but useful supermarket), 10 minutes from the bigger (seaside town) of Plakias (many restaurants, 2 big supermarkets, butcher & baker), yet out on its own: utterly quiet & private and with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the sea. Cordula - who created this fabulous place, from ground up & with incredible attention to detail, is a perfect host. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful: at all stages proactive, quick & very clear communication and always concerned about our convenience & comfort. Our flight time meant we didn’t arrive until 8pm & Cordula offered to order & collect food from one of the excellent local restaurants & keep it warm in the oven, so after a long & tiring journey our holiday started straightaway. We would love to return.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and right at home. The space was open and comfortable, with plenty of room to unwind. The beds were super cozy, and everything was spotless and well taken care of. The view was absolutely stunning—hands down the best place to watch the sunset. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. And the pool? Truly what dreams are made of. We spent hours there soaking it all in. Our hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. They even left us a lovely welcome gift, which made our arrival feel extra special. Whether we had a question or needed a recommendation, they were always quick to help. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful, picture-perfect getaway.

This is a stunning home in a great neighbourhood with a host who is an absolute 10/10! The house was even better than expected as a couple more bathrooms were added recently so there are now four. Host met us at the property, showed us around and gave extensive recommendations for all things Chania and Crete! The pool is just perfect for lounging or a dip in the evening after a hot day exploring beautiful Chania & Crete. I’d suggest you must have a car to get to and from the property as it is in a residential area however I think for Crete in general you need a car. Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, top to bottom. Don’t even hesitate booking this place!

We stayed for 10 days at Alexandra’s villa and wished we could’ve stayed for more. It was a quiet and stunning location. The villa was really clean and had all the amenities we needed. Alexandra greeted us and had fantastic homemade and local food waiting for us which was well needed after our travels which was very thoughtful of her. Throughout our stay she was extremely helpful with any of our queries and gave us great recommendations for places to visit, eat and shop. We couldn’t recommend her enough. This is a gorgeous villa to rent for couples and smaller families looking to steal clear of busier stays on the island. The only thing we would suggest for people thinking of renting the villa is to not rent a very large car / truck / van as the roads are quite tight in places. Anything larger than what we rented (BMW X1) would struggle in the town but that has absolutely no negative reflection on our host nor Airbnb. All in all an exceptional host and a perfect villa. We hebben een top verblijf gehad! We werden erg gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaren. De koelkast lag vol met eten en de eigenaren hadden heerlijke Griekse gevulde groente voor ons gemaakt. Bij vragen reageerde de host snel en adequaat. Het huis was precies zoals de foto's doen verwachten.

We had a great vacation in this beautiful house. Manolis and his wife Katerina is very accommodating and helpful. We had a lot of questions during our stay and Katerina was always ready to answer and help. And even had a little present for the kids when we left. We felt very welcome :) The house is very clean and nice, so is the spa and the pool and the view from the terrace over the landscape and the ocean is stunning! Our best recommondations for Manolis and Katerinas house!
