Holiday rentals with lake access in Antioquia

I think I hit the jackpot booking this property! I will preface this by saying this isn't my first or 10th time in Medellin and have business in the country/city. Usually when I travel I bring friends and tend to spend it in Poblado, but was adamant about branching out of that area as I know there is more to offer than just Poblado. - El Poblado is about a 20-30 minute drive from El Poblado depending on location, traffic and weather. As I know the area, I came in knowing that was fine for me. Plan accordingly if you dont have a vehicle or a private driver. - The property did not have physical A/C units. However, it is in the mountains. It is naturally cooler in the mountains. Culturally, I needed a fan and got one upon request. I was beyond good. - Their team was VERY receptive to all requests via chat. They worked w/ my team and staff and their collaboration was phenomenal! - I will definitely recommend and stay here again. - P.S. The pool is indoors and heated, like the Jacuzzi!!

The place is great, just to rest and disconnect. The attention of the staff is very good and especially that of Mrs. Nohelia and her daughter, they were always very attentive to what we could need, a special thank you for them.

A very nice property

It is a quiet, spacious and very comfortable accommodation. Very good service from Carolina and Mrs. Mari who received us.

You will feel at home on the property with the very kind, helpful family who owns all of the land that the property sits on. They are very friendly and helpful with anything you need. There is a spa right next door to the rental where you can get massages. They have beautiful ponds where they grow fish, and if you want to catch some, it's every cast and you have dinner, and of course we received a lot of help from Mr. Carlos (our local fishing guide). The woman who runs the spa was super friendly and our gracious host. I would highly recommend you hire her for a massage or two! The place is designed very intelligently, from the lighting, to the spacing and rooms, kitchen, etc. We will be back.

Casa Colibrí was absolutely peaceful and unforgettable! This lake house in Guatapé has been hands down our favorite stay. The views of the lake were beautiful and swimming in the lake from the dock was a highlight for us and our 2 year old son. Along with Mona the dog, the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. We were there in rainy season, which was mostly sunny every day with rain in the evenings. So if you’re wondering whether you should come in rainy season, you should! The house itself was cozy, spotless, and fully stocked for a relaxing getaway. The artistic touches make the home one of a kind. We were especially appreciative of the recommendations from our host—we received massages at the house and took an amazing boat ride. Even though it’s tucked away in nature, it was surprisingly easy to get around, with quick access to the town and the famous Piedra del Peñol via motochiva. If you’re looking for a place to experience tranquility, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

One of the nicest, quietest and most pleasant places we have been, Luis, the butler always with a good attitude and very helpful, Daniela, the host very attentive to all the details.

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful Airbnb! The place was equipped with all the essentials, making it very comfortable and easy to enjoy our time there. Eduardo and Bibiana, the hosts, were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive to all our needs, going above and beyond to make our stay special. The pool was amazing and provided a perfect way to relax, and the family dogs brought so much joy to our 2-year-old—they were a delightful addition to the experience! Eduardo's guidance and recommendations were invaluable, leading us to discover some truly spectacular places nearby. We were also touched by their generosity. The weather couldn't have been better, allowing us to fully enjoy not just the pool but also the stunning waterfalls and river in the area. This was an unforgettable experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. Thank you, Eduardo and Bibiana, for your incredible hospitality!

We loved this place. Perfectly located 10 minutes from the center of Guatapé! If you ever need a luggage locker, it's not available in the accommodation but you can ask for it at the bus terminal! I recommend it!!

The place is as advertised in the photos, the place has a beautiful view and is also very comfortable; Daniela was always kind, attentive and very clear with the instructions. The experience was excellent 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Great spot , jaccuzi + great view , couldn’t ask for anything else , everything is perfect , communication was great , quick responses from Jonathan , very quick walk to the center of guatape , no complains , everything 10/10 , I was only here originally for 2 days , after a relaxing peaceful time , I had to extend my time 3 more days , if you like peace I recommend 100% , in my opinion I liked the area more than in Medellin .

A spectacular accommodation! The photos don't do it justice, it's much better!! Super spacious, pleasant spaces, a very large balcony where we could barbecue. The beds are clean, very comfortable, the blankets are delicious. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. We will definitely return. The hosts were very attentive and were very friendly with everything we needed.

Lovely quiet finca about a half hour walk from the town of Guatape. We had a nice and peaceful time here, waking up to the sound of exotic birds every morning. We got to see fireflies at night! The couple co-hosting the finca were friendly and helpful. They diligently cleaned the patios and the jacuzzi area every morning. The kids absolutely loved the trampoline and play area in the garden. Definitely recommend this finca for families seeking some quiet time, while also exploring Guatape and surroundings.

Possibly the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Came with a group of 6 friends for 5 nights and we were all blown away by the home, the location, town and the service from Elena. This place is unique and special — more homey than most places you will find, but still very spacious and luxurious. Internet connection was also strong enough for me to work remotely, including video meetings, which is hard to find outside of a city! I hope to return with my family and friends soon!

Great place for a big group of friends or family! They were very helpful with recommendations and helped us plan last minute water activities. They were very accommodating! Only recommendations are to get knives sharpened and mattresses are too hard. Other than that the place is amazing! We arrived and the hot tub was on and clean! I will stay there again!

For the second time I stayed at this cabin. Excellent cabin, super close to stone that can go even on foot if you like to walk, it is a super nice, cozy and comfortable place. It has a very equipped kitchen, board games, good blankets and the view is beautiful. No doubt it will continue to be my place every time you visit Guatapé 😻
