Peaceful Retreat on the Bourbon Trail

KorrieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Tony was excellent about recommendations and had everything needed to cook a meal and left things for us to cook for breakfast and left plenty of drinks for us. Everything was clean and well stocked. It was very peaceful. We had an amazing stay and I would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The Woodford House: 7 distilleries w/in 25 min!

MarthaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Everything at Emily's house was wonderful! It was exactly as described. We love the charm of older homes and loved the old brick fireplaces. The location was perfect for all they we wanted to do in the area. We attended a family wedding nearby, but were also able to do some distillery tours, visit some wineries and even stopped by a sculpture park on the way out of town. The house was the perfect size for our family. There was plenty of room at the dining room table for meals and games, and lots of living spaces so everyone could spread out. The speakeasy room was a hit and it was nice to be able to bring the dog with us. We will definitely consider staying at The Woodford House the next time we visit the area.

The inn @Ninevah Springs- *Bourbon Trail *Horses

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
David’s place was very warm and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable. The decorations are beautiful as are the surroundings. The beds were comfortable. The friendly animals and hot tub made the experience even better. My only suggestion would be to add a little more seating in the living area. Everything else was excellent.

My Old Kentucky Home hosted by Shane was a wonderful place to stay! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The amenities on site were amazing. The hot tub and pool were all set and ready for our group when we arrived, which we appreciated greatly. Communication was great, and Shane was on top of everything. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to come back for another visit! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area.

Get Away From It All

JessicaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
It was a cute place. The hot tub made it worth while. The area was adorable and everyone was friendly. It was a nice romantic getaway that was needed. The only issue was the TVs kept kicking us off the internet. I messaged Jared about that and he responded quickly. The internet isn’t through him it’s the resort. So the only downside was when it was storming outside we had to watch stuff on our phones using our cellular data due to the internet. I suggest bringing your own internet just in case. But. We can’t wait to go back!

Kristy Rating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our stay was amazing! All accommodations were outstanding. It was our home away from home with our family for the entire weekend. Very peaceful, very clean, and a great view! Jeremy, our host, was very helpful and had a quick response to any questions we had. We have already planned to get this beautiful home again when we come back to the lake!

Matt’s place was centrally located for distillery hopping. Taylorsville lake is a great destination for outdoor recreation. The house was well furnished and very comfortable. The gated community is quiet and off the beaten path. We had a great week and highly recommend.

Four Roses/ Wild Turkey/HOT TUB/3 acres

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were very pleased with the accommodations and the layout worked well for us to have our own space. The home was charming, well-kept, and fulfilling for our needs. There was a comment made about the openness of the windows, but we did not feel this was of issue as the neighboring homes were distant and the remote vibe did not lend any safety concerns so I wouldn't give it concern as you may read the reviews. Toni was responsive each step along the way during the trip. The location in proximity to Four Roses was a stone throw -- and getting to Frankfort to enjoy Buffalo Trace was a short distance away -- as was getting to Woodford Reserve. The hot tub was a signature offering, as some of the guests have one so it was nice to enjoy away this amenity while on the trip. All the essentials we needed were there. The only opportunity would be making the guest resource book more clear and visible, as it was somewhat tucked away and inconspicuous. Overall, highly recommend.

Bourbon Trail Cabin on the Farm

RandyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Not far to restaurants and most importantly the distilleries. The metal roof was amazing during a thunderstorm, reminded me of my grandparents house in Missouri. The sound of the rain put me in a deep sleep, of course the Bourbon may have contributed. Thank you for a soft place to land. Highly recommended.

Countryside On the Bourbon Trail, 22 Quiet Acres

MartinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This week provided a wonderful opportunity for relaxation and exploration, particularly with the chance to visit the charming bourbon distilleries in the area. I was genuinely excited about my visit to Lawrenceburg. From the moment I arrived, David proved to be an incredibly accommodating host—responsive to my inquiries and ensuring that all my needs were met with care. The property itself was a true gem: impeccably clean, meticulously maintained, and tastefully decorated with an eye for detail. Its central location made it convenient for my adventures while offering a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. The surrounding area exuded safety and tranquility, creating a perfect atmosphere for unwinding. While the distilleries were just a short drive away, I found it hard to leave the house, as the breathtaking scenery and serene ambiance were simply too inviting to resist. The check-in and checkout processes were seamless and straightforward, adding to the overall ease of my stay.

Barndominium on the Bourbon Trail - **HOT TUB**

LeighRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We visited Kentucky for our 25th wedding anniversary. We wanted to stay somewhere rural with animals but very comfy. And we chose this area because we were touring various distilleries in this region. This checked all the boxes: horses, dogs, cats, a beautiful farm, comfortable sleeping, and very close to everything we wanted to see. Watch out for pets Rexy and Karl--they will steal your hearts! The space is exactly as pictured. And it is well insulated, so it is very quiet inside. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking meals with plenty of space. Thank you to Nicole and TJ for opening up their farm to us, being extremely responsive, and being a pleasure to get to know. We'd love to come back!
