My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb as a surprise weekend away to celebrate our friend getting married. This Airbnb was the perfect spot for us, with lots of wonderful amenities on the property itself as well as a distillery and cider house within a less than 5 minute walk away. We were blown away by the attention to detail at this place, they are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including board games and outdoor activities. The entire property was pristine, inside the house and outside. The hosts were extremely kind and quickly responsive to messages. They even helped us with recommendations in the area. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. My friends and I are hoping to return for another visit in the future! Thanks Wayne & Carolyn for a great stay. :)

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

Amanda’s place was perfect for our girls’ weekend getaway. The peaceful location on the river was ideal and the house has so much space and is laid out well for a larger group. Lots of places you gather together or get away to a quiet spot on your own. The deck down by the water was such a nice spot to gather with coffee or cocktails. We’ll be back if Amanda will have us!

We had such a lovely stay at Cassey’s cottage! It was the perfect escape from the city!! Peaceful, charming, and beautifully set up. Just a short 6-minute drive to LCS, which was ideal for our Home of the Grove visit. Would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at Ashley’s cottage for three weeks during home renovations and had such a great experience! The place was so clean and beautiful, it genuinely felt like home to us. Ashley went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We couldn’t ask for a better host!

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. This was our second time at Blue Heron and it lives up to the expectations again! It was a lovely stay and we enjoyed every second of it. There are many activities to do in the property alone, the surrounding is peaceful with amazing view. Can’t wait to come back again.

Our group of seven adults were more than comfortable thanks to the spacious layout, with plenty of room to relax both indoors and out. The living spaces were open and inviting, perfect for group meals, or simply unwinding with a view of the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together, which made our stay feel so easy and homey. We especially loved the outdoor decks and the BBQ setup — grilling with a waterfront view was a highlight of our trip. The covered porch was another favorite spot, offering a peaceful place out of the elements. Check-in was seamless with clear, easy-to-follow directions, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Casey's home was beautiful and the effort they put into the small touches really shows.Everything was spotless when we got there and their instructions were clear and helpful. Their guide on things to do in the area were also great. We enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ, and the patio in equal measure and overall had an amazing time! Thank you Casey, we will be back!

Went with my daughter for a few days. Beautiful spot. Everything was as promised :)

Really great lake house for a larger group. Plenty of space and enough amenities for everyone to enjoy. The paddle boards and canoe were a lot of fun. It Raines one of the days we were there and the games room, with a pool table and foosball, really came in handy. If you have a boat this space is really convenient because it has a slip right in front of it. Great fishing as well, the fish were practically jumping onto the line.

We felt really comfortable at Caroline's place, it was in a very quiet area and a short drive to some fantastic scenic walks. It was easy to find and Caroline's communication was great. I'd recommend staying here and would like to visit again.

This was our second time staying here with the kids over Victoria Day, and once again, it was perfect. The place has everything we needed and felt like home from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well-organized, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We loved the beautiful view, swimming in the lake, making s’mores, and enjoying quality time together. A beautiful and convenient spot for a great getaway — we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
