Holiday rentals in Alhaurín el Grande

HEERLIJK, HEERLIJK, HEERLIJK. Het verblijf is gewoonweg fantastisch! Het domein en de uitzichten zijn prachtig in de dag en magisch in de avond. Een ideale plek om helemaal tot rust te komen. Ook de hosts reageren snel op berichten. Een gouden tip: boek die massage aan huis!

Lovely villa with swimming pool and hot tub. Literally everything is provided; e.g air fryer, towels, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, heaters and AC machines. Similar to other reviews, just only use a couple appliances in the kitchen at one time. Owner quickly told us how to switch back on the fuses when the electricity went off. Never used a hot tub before so make sure you warm it up hours beforehand. Only issue for us was the damp in 2 of the bedrooms. It meant that the bedroom behind the kitchen couldn’t be used at all as no one could be in there for longer than a minute. The other bedroom wasn’t so bad but still not ideal. My kids suffer from asthma and aren’t used to damp. However, after speaking to local residents they did say they had a wet winter and were also suffering from damp so this is not an issue with the villa itself but most probably the area. Highly doubt this would be an issue in summer.

I say this confidently, I challenge anyone to find a better deal, and find a more accommodating host, because you won't! Timo and his property were absolutely amazing. The location is surreal, you overlook malaga and feel completely tucked away in your own corner of paradise. The villa is truly magnificent, your own private pool, deep and shallow end, a jacuzzi hot tub, 2 outdoor showers, 1 overlooking the view and ocean in the distance. Multiple sunbeds and loungers across the rooftop leave you spoilt for choice of where to soak in the sun. The interior feels premium and the bathroom and king bedroom feel very luxurious. Small additions like the IPad that Timo provides along with a portable Bluetooth speaker, beers in the fridge, a bottle of wine and more are all just extras to this amazing place. You are a 10 minute drive from some incredible restaurants, and are opposite sunview park which has a 1350metre zipline! I cant wait to return. Thabkyou Timo!

Just back from a wonderful 2 weeks stay at the villa. The villa was perfect, we used the pool pretty much every day which was wonderful while having a bbq in the area just at the side. The rooms were a very good side inside and was perfect for us as a family of 4, with both boys (teenagers) being able to have their own rooms. Juan answered messages instantly and came and helped us when we managed to lock ourselves out - even coming back from his own trip away! We hope to return to the villa if not next year then the year after, as we loved the old town at Alhaurín el grande and surrounding areas, including Malaga city centre which was only a short drive away.

We wish we could give more than 5 stars. Our stay at The Casita was magical. The views are so beautiful and it was very special to be able to pick our own oranges from the tree each day. The accommodation is perfect, with plenty of spaces to sit either in the sun or shade. There were so many lovely little touches and it was wonderful to arrive and be greeted in person and to find a bottle of wine waiting for us. Mijas is within walking distance and we enjoyed being able to walk in to get food or drink or to have a walk along the city walls. Helene and Claudia were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely go back and stay again. We also loved getting to know their gorgeous dogs. We can't recommend The Casita, Helene or Claudia enough. Just wonderful.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Yelena en Marcel. We vielen op de foto’s van de buitenruimte maar het was nog mooier dan wat we hoopten! Het uitzicht is geweldig, de tuin goed onderhouden en het huisje heeft een prachtig, schoon zwembad. Het gastenverblijf zelf is niet heel groot maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om aangenaam te verblijven. Marcel en Yelena wonen om de hoek en zijn erg gastvrij. Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten maar zouden een volgende keer langer boeken. Alozaina is het dichtstbijzijnde dorp, ongeveer 6 minuten met de auto, waar je boodschappen kunt halen of uit eten kunt.

La estancia ha sido espectacular, tanto yo como mis amigos nos sentimos como en casa, luis es un anfitrión muy bueno y super atento y si vuelvo a ir de vacaciones tengo claro que volvería a coger la misma casa

We arrived at Tottam during the blackout but managed to find the place easily. Cesar and Esther are really lovely hosts - they invited us to share some wine and cheese and we had an amazing time with them, making the most of what could have been a complicated evening. The bungalow is quite big, comfortable and clean. The garden is really nice and peaceful. We definitely recommend the place. Thank you and see you soon!
