There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

This house was designed mainly for foreigners.　

The owner lives outside the prefecture and uses it as a vacation home. We cherish the extraordinary space by decorating with paintings and furnishings that give you a taste of Japanese culture. I will welcome you as a valued guest who can come to my private home, so face-to-face check-in and common sense conversation and interaction are required. Wifi is available. A parking lot is also provided. Transportation is not convenient in the mountainous area, so please go out by car if possible.

In front of the guesthouse is the beautifully clean Niyodo River. Relax with your family in this peaceful location. We have an open space which makes BBQs and campfires possible. You can also join one of our paddle board tours (host is a professional guide who speaks English too) suitable for all levels. We have a cafe onsite serving both Japanese and western food like pizzas. Walk the river area, check out the local area. ※ we get Insects during the summer season.

A 150 years-old Japanese traditional house was built in the Maiji Era, reformed more comfortable. The house is surrounded by nature.The Niyodo river (the most beutiful river)runs near the house. It is a great place to relax, feel the Japanese culture and enjoy beautiful nature. The house has a Hibachi : Japanese hearth grilling. would you like to broil mochi(餅) and warm up your body and mind??
