Fransico is a very friendly host and guided us through during the check-in process. The house is located at a quiet place in the middle between Karuizawa and Kusatsu. The house is well furnished and clean and equipped with all necessary tools for a barbecue. We had a memorable barbecue night there.

If you are looking for a place to get away from the noise of the world, Yasuhiro's property is very private and surrounded by trees and breeze. Using the wood burning pizza oven takes some knowledge and Yasuhiro was there when we checked in to make sure we'd be able to handle it. He speaks very good English as well! Everything you could want is there, from board games for kids, to a kitchen packed with all manner of pots, pans, plates, skewers for BBQ, the outside deck for morning coffee, the picnic table for evening BBQ. Yasuhiro was very clear about how the house works and there are very clear house instructions in both Japanese and English. The wood burning oven is great for other things beside pizza, roast a chicken, some local veggies or bake some bread. If you plan on using the wood fired oven, bring lots of wood, depending on your length of stay I'd plan on one bundle of wood for every 2 days of usage.

I had a great stay.The interior was also lovely, such as handmade furniture and stylish dishes.They taught me how to use the wood stove, and I had a comfortable stay.We also appreciated that we had everything we needed and information in the room during our stay, so we were able to stay free without interfering.The stars in the night sky were very beautiful and I was impressed.The cat who came to play was also friendly and the children were happy.I would like to stay there again.
