Family-friendly holiday rentals in Aegean Islands

Nektarios’ place was the PERFECT first place to stay on our honeymoon. The place is private but still close to the main city in Naxos, which made getting around easy. We had some flight issues and he was so flexible with our changing arrival times. Nektarios picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the port at the end of our (way too short!! Book more than 3 days for sure!!) stay. He had a ton of restaurant recommendations, which we took, and which did not disappoint. On arrival, he had some fresh fruit from his family’s farm for us, and on our second night he brought up some dessert and raki that his wife had made. It was delicious and such a kind and welcoming gesture. The place is exactly as pictured, and the view!! Amazing. We enjoyed taking in the subset from the hot tub on the balcony. I will absolutely book with Nektarios again when we come back to Naxos. Worth every penny!

Great from start to finish. Harry was so helpful and offered to transport us if we wanted to go to the beach or to get shopping etc. Angelo the driver is also wonderful.

Katarina is a fantastic host! She made things so easy by arranging transportation, recommending restaurants, arranging the tours and activities that we were interested in. Breakfast was brought to us every day. Can’t say enough great things about her, the location, and the house! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Spectacular place in the heart of Oia! The views were incredible! Hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. They assisted us in booking a catamaran tour and in finding a private chef for an evening. Truly an unforgettable place!

Beautiful house with incredible view and wonderful hostess

Maria was excellent host. Communication was very fast & extremely helpful. Staff that met us to carry luggage down & serve wine & snacks at sunset were friendly & much appreciated. The cave house is unusual and beautiful. Quiet at night but in the middle of everything. So much to do and see. Will definitely be back!

The views are out of this world beautiful! We spent a lot of time on the patio or in the hot tub just overlooking the town and sea. It’s walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Only downside was walking through the tourists taking pictures by the blue dome. We were quick and just kept walking and had no issues. The quiet town after dark and first thing in the morning with the views was worth the crowds! Bed was comfortable and we booked in Villa massages which was so cool!

The appartment is great, very comfortable, specious, very well equipped. The view from the tarrace - probably the best we have ever had. And of course the hosts - Yota and Dimitires are wonderful, very helpful. We really enjoy our family stay! And we will come back :)

THE VIEW is priceless. A great place to recharge and just enjoy the sea. Location is the best - so peaceful, but the taverns & marina are a 5 min walk away. We would come back.

We absolutely love Nikolas’ apartment. It felt like a Pueblo from the SW United States Native Americans. All the small doorways and high ceilings make it so unique. We love the little village near the apartment. Quiet during the day but full of life at night. The acoustics are wonderful. By the time you walk to the apartment from the little village in the evening, you can’t hear the music or people even though it’s very close by. We loved this. I like the little neighborhood because there are no cars allowed so it feels very safe walking around at night. Nikolas gave us recommendations for food and we loved the restaurant Argos. We would recommend this place highly. Nikolas was easy to communicate with, very responsive and kind. Thanks for letting us stay Nikolas!! Yamas! April & Ian

Really nice stay, taxi service was very helpful and the villa views were beautiful. Only issue is there aren’t any enough sun beds for the number of guests if all the villas were full.

We loved our house. A beautifully decorated, peaceful house in a very quiet village. Every detail was wonderful. Evangelos gave detailed information about the house before we arrived. Although he was in Athens, he was always in touch with us. We had no problems. If I come to Chios again, I would like to stay here.

We were already warmly welcomed at the airport and accompanied to the accommodation. Everything went smoothly. The place is simply a dream come true, it can't be better described! Kostas showed us everything right away and was always accessible for questions or even stopped by in person. A big thank you for these relaxing days and this incredibly beautiful place to stay.

Our family of 8 had a glorious stay at Stuart’s. this gorgeous home and setting fit exactly matched our Cycladic dream! Stuart was proactive in his communication, created a group chat in advance to connect our group with the manager Katerina, sent a car to pick us up, & cleaned the place mid-stay. There’s a binder full of recommendations and Katerina is quick to respond to queries and send along Sunny the handyman for a repair the one time we needed something fixed. Town is a 15 min walk- though not super stroller friendly. On calm days we loved swimming off the rocky outcroppings out front and snorkelling. The home was equipped with everything we needed for family beach days, from water shoes to floaty toys. The kitchen also had everything with could wish for from a blender to Bundt pans.

Wonderful accommodation, charming touches on arrival, great communication with the host, we had recommendations for the whole stay and he checked in with us every day. The cleaning was done regularly. We were both calm and enjoyed the space outside and the possibility of parking while being close to everything. No noise, very pleasant stay. Everything was decorated with great taste. Well done!

This was such an incredible stay, while we were initially nervous that we were a little bit out of the town, it ended up being perfect because of the late night crowd. Our family enjoyed a quiet time by the pool and easy walk to Vera and whenever we needed something George was available to either help drive us or give us a recommendation on what to do. Our flight was actually delayed by an hour and a half, and because we were going to be getting in so late he had stocked the fridge and ordered pizza so it was waiting for us at the apartment incredibly thoughtful.

Perfect stay for my group of 5! 🤍 the Villa is absolutely stunning. Moshoula and her entire team are the absolute best! Service 10/10. Highly recommended!!!

This was the loveliest Airbnb we have ever stayed at! Serene and beautiful, the best part being Katerina (Anastasia’s mother). She was the sweetest woman ever, made us delicious fresh breakfast and was so nice to be around her. Definitely recommend staying here!

Best honeymoon place in Platanias ❤️ We thought the accommodation was perfect. A peaceful retreat in an excellent location. Shops, the beach, and great restaurants were all within walking distance. Despite this, the place offered complete privacy. A nearby restaurant also delivered food directly to the property upon request. The terrace area with the pool and barbecue was excellent. The kitchen, living room, and bedroom were beautifully decorated, and the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable to sleep in. Both the living room and bedroom had air conditioning. The accommodation also offered books to read as well as some board and card games. The owners were very easy to reach if needed. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone, and I hope to return again soon myself.

We had a very nice time at Koni. She was super nice, warm and always helpful – you immediately felt welcome. The pool was a real highlight, as was the breathtaking view. The accommodation was very clean overall, which is particularly important to us. However, you can see that some corners are already a bit outdated. A few renovations would really do the whole thing good - especially in this price range, that would be a nice bonus. Nevertheless: The atmosphere, the friendliness and the location make the stay absolutely recommendable. Thank you, Koni!

It’s hard to decide which is nicer: the apartment, the sea views or the owners. All are excellent. We were staggered at how lavishly Artemis had laid on groceries for us for when we arrived. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean and well appointed. The AC units in every room work really well, and the netting on the windows kept unwanted bugs to a minimum. The pool is kept spotlessly clean as a matter of honour and (warranted) pride by Illyrios. The showers in the bathrooms are powerful and have plenty of hot water. The fridge-freezer is spacious and works well, as do the other quality appliances such as washing machine, kettle and microwave. The views are soothing and the area quiet. The hosts live downstairs and are very respectful of guests’ privacy whilst at the same time being available to give help or any extras you might want in the kitchen. The beds are comfy and the linen spotless. Location is great if you have a car. Don’t give it a second thought: just come!
