Holiday rentals with a patio in Adams County

we loved this place. very nice apartment, the location is great, close to hiking, close to Gettysburg, quite and peaceful, just great. Michael was awesome. Very friendly, and was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

This was a great apartment to rent for the class I was taking in Mechanicsburg. Roger and Mardell were very responsive and helpful, they seem very nice. The neighbors are quiet and it was the perfect size for me. The apartment itself is super cute, and looks exactly as the pictures show. I didn’t have a chance to really roam around the city, but everything you need is within a minute or so. All in all I would rent here again!

Beautiful air b and b - my husband and I spent the night of our wedding at this location and found it so relaxing with the hot tub, the bed was so comfortable and I fell asleep in an instant.

Fantastic spot in a great neighborhood. Clean and comfortable at a solid price. Strong water pressure is a real perk for me and this place has it in spades. Highly recommended

Christopher’s place was the perfect retreat for an overnight in Harrisburg! I honestly didn’t know what to expect having booked an apartment downtown on Memorial Day weekend, but since the reviews were good and I was only staying one night, I decided to take my chances… and I’m glad I did; you’d never guess that such a peaceful spot was just blocks away from the capitol and the hustle and bustle of the city! I was extremely pleased with the location, both its walkability to attractions (I especially enjoyed an authentic Mexican breakfast at Tres Hermanos!) and its proximity to the peaceful river walk! My one and only complaint is that the shower only ran cold water (it was communicated that we could expect it to get cold after 15 minutes, but it never got warm), but it was for me a very minor issue in the context of my overall stay. The water temp might be an issue in colder weather or for longer stays, but for a short-term rental, this location can’t be beat!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay at Ralph and Vera’s home. The home was spotless, comfortable, and the setting was so quiet and peaceful. Our children enjoyed playing on the playground area outside our space and there was also a beautiful gazebo on the property that could be used as well. The home was well stocked with any items you might need during your stay. I could not have asked for a better place to stay while stopping through on our way back home. Thanks to Ralph and Vera for a wonderful stay!

Nathaniel and Danielle are excellent hosts and the space is beautiful! Great communication and helpful neighborhood recommendations. We had dinner at Sturges, cocktails at High Tide, and breakfast at Yellow Bird. Our hosts went above and beyond when my wife left a personal item behind -- mailing it to us the very next day. Amazing! 10/10 would stay again.

The home was beautiful and is just as described. Great place to stay near Gettysburg. Ample of space for you and your family. Has everything you could possibly need. Definitely recommend!

Staying at the Sunset House was great. Exactly what we needed. Kelly’s communication was awesome and she was very easy to ask questions. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. She has snacks and local info that is included in the stay. The location is quiet and peaceful and we even got a beautiful sunset one of the nights while sitting outside on the balcony. The house is only a couple miles away from downtown Gettysburg and is very easy to get to. Our weekend went to quickly and we hated to leave. We 100% will stay here if we visit Gettysburg again. It was, by far, the nicest Air Bnb home we have ever stayed in! It is more beautiful than even the pictures can capture. The hosts have thought of everything. They go above and beyond in every category of hospitality. I highly recommend staying here. If someone is considering starting their own Air Bnb, this is the place to learn from. Wow, just, wow! I highly recommend this place and would definitely book here again. It was right around the corner and within walking distance to downtown Gettysburg. The parking garage is located right behind the property and extremely convenient. The home was immaculate and fit all 8 of us very comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of little extras provided by the owner. The muffins, scones, waters and various coffees were a pleasant surprise. The front porch and backyard patio were wonderful spots to relax and enjoy our favorite beverages. Everyone in our group had a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay! The home and property were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We didn’t have a need to contact the host during our visit, but everything was smooth and well-prepared. One of our favorite parts was the koi pond — such a lovely touch! We were a little bummed there wasn’t any food available to feed the fish, but it was still a joy to watch them. The water fountains were also a nice touch and did a great job masking any nearby road noise. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Where to begin with this review??? I don't know what Airbnb's standard is for hosts and homes but whatever it is, Tierra's place exceeds it. We will forever compare all short term rentals to this one because the bar has been set so high. The first few minutes of our stay, my wife and I walked around the home awestruck by the attention to detail of this home. Tierra goes out of her way with little touches that helps to enhance the experience at her home. I don't think there is anything Tierra hasn't thought of. If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind, relax, and feel at home away from home, this place is it. We can't wait to return!

Nancy and Jim were such gracious hosts. They checked on us throughout the week, offered to do a mid-week laundry update, and made our children feel right at home. Their property is absolutely amazing and offered the serenity we needed on an otherwise busy trip. We can't wait to stay again!

Amazing location in the mountains. Great location to everything we needed during our stay as we were back and forth to Gettysburg, Emmitsburg, Mount St. Mary and Thurmont.
