Holiday rentals in Adair County

Susan is very nice and responsive, she was always willing to help and tell us recommendations in the area. The home was in a very quiet peaceful area. Served as a cozy retreat for our work group.

If you love a space that looks and feels vintage, while offering modern amenities, you will love this space! It is cozy, spacious, and charming, and having two bathrooms is a plus. The listing is up-front that the unit is not handicap accessible and involves a lot of stairs. It does. But, if you're able carry your stuff up some stairs, I think you'll really enjoy the space. Within one block, there is a showroom of vintage cars and within two blocks, a bowling ally and a movie theater. The town has several dining options Monday-Saturday, and some on Sunday. There are two small lakes that offer fishing, picnic areas, and walking trails just outside of town. Enjoy!

Home appeared to be freshly renovated with brand new appliances and furniture. Even the plumbing fixtures were new! Susan's place was immaculately clean, and she provided everything I needed for my stay. This place is perfect for couples or a small family wishing to explore Iowa's countryside. Susan was very responsive, usually in five minutes or so. I would highly recommend this lovely home if you're wanting to explore Iowa. I will definitely stay at Susan's home the next trip up.

We were surprised when we pulled up to a "garage" as the place we were staying for the evening. We walked in and were blown away by how lovely everything was. It is beautifully decorated and CLEAN, which is the most important thing to me. If I need to overnight in Adair in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

Adam was a wonderful host and extremely accommodating. I had zero issues with any aspect of my stay. Adam went out of his way to ensure that I was taken care of and felt at home.
