Great place, wonderfull chalet, wanted to stay longer

The view from the balcony pays for the place! So peaceful and the sauna was great. Wish the weather was more cooperative but there’s load to do at this cottage.

We stayed at this place for two nights and had a good experience overall. The cottage was modern in design and was given to us clean and tidy. However, we encountered two issues. First, the house did not have laundry detergent and paper towels, which could be easily addressed. More importantly, the cottage does not have direct access to the lake. It is located on the upper side of the road, while the lake is on the lower side. To reach the lake, you need to cross the road and go through another property. This was not what we expected based on the photos, as the road was not shown in them.

The cottage is really well situated on a waterfront lot with direct access to the river and lots of privacy. Everything is very functional and clean. There is no need to bring anything from home for your stay, which makes it a great easy getaway. The host Julie is very organized and responsive. We'll be back!

Perfect getaway for a little family rest and relaxation!!

We wanted a place to stay that was relatively close to Antoine Mountain, and a place that was peaceful and private. We were so lucky to find Alan's place, 15 minutes from Antoine Mountain, and only a few minutes from Mattawa (which had any food and supplies that we needed). We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cabin. Alan was very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out - always respecting our privacy. The cabin had all we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful perk after skiing each day! We look forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to take advantage of how close the cabin is to various canoe routes and hiking trails. Thank you, Alan, for making it a great mini-vacation!

The cottage was amazing for a large group of friends travelling with their kids. The water was beautiful and the kitchen/ eating area was amazing. The only “issues” we had were that there is another cottage very very close to this one, and the hot tub is not directly at the cottage it’s spaced away making it not as comfortable to use. Otherwise, we loved out stay and we are already planning to come back next year!

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. Paul's repsonsive and helpful behavior lead us to this spot, 16 of my friends gathered here and had a wonderful time, it was beyond my expectations as there was a peacefull beach and the staff was really accommodating, will be visiting soon in the coming future. I'm very thankful for paul for suggesting us the place. much appreciated and would encourage people to visit here, if they want a peacefull time with nature and an outstanding view and helpfull staff.

The accommodation offered by Andrew is great! Everything is as advertised! We had enough wood for our 2 nights on site! Communication with Andrew is really simple and he is very responsive! There are neighboring cottages but there is no one opposite when you are on Andrew's property! We were amazed by the beauty of the place! It's very quiet, very relaxing, nothing better to spend a weekend away from it all! We didn't miss anything in the chalet either! So thank you again for everything Andrew!!

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

We celebrated our anniversary at Jen’s Shamayim Cabin to disconnect and enjoy some winter activities. With no cell reception, we used our devices only to capture photos and videos. Jen greeted us, gave a brief tour, and recommended activities. It was the perfect winter getaway, with plenty of snow for outdoor activities. The weather was great. We cooked dinner on a campfire, relaxed in the sauna, and ended the evening by the fire with hot chocolate. The next day, we tackled two trails. One involved snowshoeing and trekking up Little Mountain to a scenic lookout. After taking in the views, we made our way down a steep slope, using ropes to assist with the descent. We also crossed a creek along the way before completing the loop. Later, we visited the frozen Bang’s Bay and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The area is huge, with more trails and activities we didn’t have time to explore. Jen and Tzach were wonderful hosts, and we highly recommend their cabins. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay and Francis's place. The cottage is well maintained with lots of seating and is well stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. The river is just in the back accessible from the back porch, has bbq and outdoor dining area. The place is at the end of the dirt road, so very private! Will be back!

Great little cabin for our short stay while travelling through. Easy check in, was very clean and comfortable. We met our host Lynn who was very friendly, and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Their property was very unkept and inviting. As guests you a free to use the waterfront amenities and the cabin has its out fire pit with supplied wood. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and would definitely hope to stay again on our travels through if it’s available. Thanks Lynn and Moe.

Highly recommend the beach cabin for a relaxing getaway! The property offers a serene space to enjoy the outdoors, the lake and to grill on the beach side wood fire grill (so awesome )!! The host provided lots of water equipment to kayak, canoe and paddle board. The dock was a great spot to enjoy the mist on the water at sunrise and a picturesque sunset! The cabin was super cute, clean and offers a great space for rainy or colder times. Games and books were inside so we always had something to do. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and the covered patio offers another eating and hang out area. Great weekend and great memories were had here, come make yours!

Everything was fine. It an isolated remote community but that is fine with us. It was a little chilly the first few nights, but they turned on some heaters before we arrived, which was fine. You’re looking for peace and quiet. This is a good place.. I tried fishing by the docks, but they didn’t get any bites, but there is a bridge nearby and you can park and I caught a lot of fish in that location

We spent labor day weekend at the bunkie and absolutely loved it! It had everything we need with incredible views. The outdoor shower was lovely.

We are very happy with our stay. This is a calm and peaceful place. A lot of water activities. Very nice rooms and impeccable bedding. The cottage has all the necessary equipment for your stay. The lake is beautiful and the cottage is right at the edge of the water. We would definitely recommend this chalet. Mark is definitely a superhost.

A great place to visit and enjoy the outdoors right at your fingertips. Don’t be fooled by the decoy coyote. We fired up the bbq and sauna. Enjoyed our coffee and stretches on the deck. Communication was excellent. We will definitely be going back for a longer stay!
