Holiday rentals in Abbateggio

Catia and Andrea's house was perfect! Everything was super clean, there was everything you need to cook, I could wash clothes, the whole time I felt right at home. The location is stunning, with a huge private courtyard with a view of the mountains and the sound of the river. There are walking trails nearby and only 30-60 minutes by car, there are multiple mountains to hike up if that's your thing. I recommend Monte Amaro (difficult) and Monte Mileto (moderate). Above all, Catia and Andrea were two of the nicest hosts I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Catia was extremely communicative before my arrival and when I told her what time I would arrive, her and Andrea suggested to meet them at a bar near the airbnb. Of course I accepted and I was met with beautiful hospitality, they bought me two beers and let me practice my Italian with them. And to top it off, they personally escorted me to show me the airbnb, and they also left some beer and two bottles of wine. Best experience yet!

We spent our final week in Italy with Jacquie, at Majella Garden, and what a lovely place to end our long days of exploring! Jacquie was a gracious host and always made herself available. She went above and beyond to help us when we needed a few things from the local market on our first day. She knows the area extremely well and made some wonderful recommendations, including restaurants and a local leather shop. The apartment was extremely clean, fully equipped, and comfortable, with a great view of the garden. If you're interested in experiencing authentic Italian country living, go see Jacquie!

I can't say enough about the house or the hospitality! Kevin's family made sure we were taken care of. They even helped us locate family in the area and that lead to finding the house where my father was born. I was able to be in touch with my family history which was the reason for my visit. They assisted with transportation and helped us greatly.

Biancofino è un’oasi, non solo per la pace di cui si gode ma per la cura dell’accoglienza di cui si gode: non c’è nulla, NULLA, di cui si possa avere bisogno cui Paola -ospite eccezionale- non abbia pensato e pensato con gusto e stile piuttosto rari nelle strutture destinate all’affitto. La casa è pulitissima e curata, e le colazioni sotto il gazebo esterno e davanti allo scenario delle montagne abruzzesi rimarrà a lungo nei miei ricordi. Spero davvero di tornare presto!!!

ottima esperienza

È la seconda volta che siamo ospiti di Emanuele (e, se ci vorrà, non sarà l'ultima) e credo che questo basti per far capire quanto ci siamo trovati bene. L'alloggio è perfetto e ha tutto quello di cui si possa avere bisogno, è in una posizione strategica per raggiungere una serie di posti da visitare assolutamente ed Emanuele è di una gentilezza rara.

Io ed il mio compagno abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana, la casa si trova in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa, è completamente indipendente e tutta recintata, ottimo per noi che viaggiamo col nostro inseparabile rottweiler che ha apprezzato molto (anche noi!)il grande giardino. All' interno gli spazi sono giusti, noi eravamo in due ma ci sarebbero state tranquillamente altre 3 persone, non ci è mancato nulla. Buona la posizione per visitare l'Abruzzo sia verso il mare che verso le zone più interne. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e tra le cose che abbiamo apprezzato di più la tranquillità, il silenzio, la giusta privacy, la natura che circonda la casa con un bellissimo panorama, i tramonti spettacolari, le lucciole la sera in giardino. Ovviamente un ringraziamento particolare a Francesco, è stato un host disponibile e premuroso, sempre in comunicazione con noi e ci ha dato innumerevoli consigli su luoghi e ristoranti, è stato come essere a casa di un amico. Esperienza consigliatissima!

Notre séjour à San Valentino a été excellent. L'endroit est idéalement placé dans la région, permet de rayonner et de varier les plaisir. Nous avons changé nos destination chaque jour alternant mer (la Costa dei Trabocchi et magnifique), montagne (Faggeta - foret de hêtres - de Lama Bianca, magnifique / valle de l'Orfento / Roccacaramanico / Campo Imperatore / Rocca Calascio), lac (excursion à Scanno et son célébré lac en forme de cœur), rivière (balade en canoé sur le Tirino). Bref, on ne s'ennuie pas en Abruzzo ;) Le village est charmant et les locaux très accueillant. Au mois d'aout il y a des animations avec des fêtes locales, des spectacle de musique et des concerts dans le Duomo, juste à coté. On a essayé deux restaurants, très très bon rapport qualité prix et le glacier local. On recommande. L'appartement est propre et ventilé (la nuit on dort très bien, très silencieux) garde le charme d'antan. On s'y sent vite comme à la maison.
