Kid-friendly holiday rentals in 8th arrondissement

Quaint, quiet, comfortable. Everything you need is available on foot. Great restaurants and hidden gems nearby. Love that it’s close to the urban park and metro/train. Pull out bed was easy to use and was handy to have a washing machine as we happened to come during a heat wave! Recommend if you’re looking for something quiet and convenient. Perfect for one or a couple.

Perfect for getting to Groupama Stadium or LDLC Arena. 15-20 minute walk in quiet area. The apartment is perfect for a night with convenient parking space. Small downside for light in the morning, no blackout curtain on the small window on the bedroom side. So sensitive to light to sleep, we wake up to the sun. And no soap for the shower. This was our second stay here and the stairs are worth every step! It’s a beautiful and peaceful oasis. Already planning to return next year.

We had a lovely stay at Roland and his wife's place. The accommodation is clean, functional with lots of small touches (towels, soap, coffee, sugar, condiments, sunbed etc.). The area is very quiet (Auchan 10/15 min walk), bus nearby. The pool was lovely. The little thing to improve is just on the blind that covers the door, it lets in the light so when the sun rises, the room is no longer in the dark and difficult to go back to sleep personally.

We had a very pleasant stay in this tastefully renovated and particularly well-equipped accommodation. The environment is very quiet and allows you to recharge after the days of visiting the city. The bus is 50 meters away and allows you to reach the center of Lyon either directly or by transiting by metro. Communication with the host is excellent and the guide to activities to do and restaurants to discover that he has made is very useful. In short, if you want to spend a few days in Lyon, book this accommodation and you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emilie's, the outdoor space and the quiet. We were lucky to have summer weather to enjoy it, but we were too hot upstairs, where the bedroom is. Just a shame we can't get into the accommodation earlier than 5 p.m. But we highly recommend a charming address :)

Excellent! Very nice apartment, well decorated, with high quality amenities. It was a furnace outside, but the apartment was very cool, which is really a plus. Ideal for a couple with a small child like us, because it is easy to reach from Part Dieu train station. Close to two beautiful parks with children's playgrounds, convenience stores, bakeries and restaurants. Super responsive host. A great stay, thank you.

Nice place in a peaceful locality in about 30 minutes from.the centre of Lyon with bus and metros nearby. The place matches the listing and descriptions. Nana is a clear communicator and very responsive. We liked the apartment and amenities very much and will recommend this to anybody for a great stay in Lyon

Very good stay spent in this very functional, well-equipped and clean accommodation. Particularly appreciated the proximity of public transport, the possibility of free parking very easily, the self check-in/out, the unobstructed view. The star less for points in the description to review: rooms not on the courtyard side as indicated so tram and traffic passage (but quite bearable noise), no TV in the room as indicated. Nothing serious in the end, I recommend the apartment 😉

New studio, well equipped, we had everything we needed there for 5 days. Its quiet and soundproofed from the other apartments. About the neighborhood - situated between a tram and metro station, bus stop just in front. The Tacos down the building is open until 1 am, a nonstop shop just 300m saving lives if someone is arriving after 10pm like us ;) For a fine dining at least 2 options just 10 minutes on foot. Would stay there again.

Had a nice stay in this studio. The instructions were very clear, the host welcoming and available! Perfect accessibility by tram, 2 steps from the apartment. The bed and bedding are very comfortable, and the necessary facilities are there. I would recommend this place to future guests!

Very good stay with Hélène. The apartment was big enough for 2 people and very bright. Everything is clearly stated and simple. Hélène is very responsive to messages. It was perfect!

PERFECT stay! The accommodation is very beautiful, functional and very clean. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the rooftop given the thunderstorms and rain! Next time I hope because it is very well equipped! Thank you for the warm welcome, I recommend it 100%.

I really enjoyed staying at Marion's Place, the instructions were clear and the apartment was as described. Marion also gave me some recommendations about the city as it was my first time and I took all the recommendations and it was super nice. The apartment is just about 5mins walk to the metro station so it was easy to navigate and there are great restaurants around. Would def come back.

Stylish and well located. It worked well for a week stay and connected easily to other parts of Lyon. The Bocuse market nearby was a plus. Guillaume the host was super responsive.
