The idea of this experience is to connect with Pacha Mama (nature), enter where pumas, tigrillos, opossums, orchids and birds live, especially the cacique candle and many more species that live in this natural reserve, just 40 minutes from the city of Medellín. The time and starting point is at 9:00 am in Yolo Hostel located in Provenza Crr # 7A- 77 we will go by private vehicle to the Arenales that is the starting point of the ecological hike, we will be back at Yolo Hostel, at approximately 3:00 pm. In a rustic, open and harmonious environment, you will get in touch with the materials and tools for your first sculpture experience. For approximately three hours you will learn the step by step necessary to transform a rough stone into a beautiful sculpture. Other things to note This will be an opportunity to have your first contact with sculpture techniques, creating or starting to create your first work.

What you'll do The first step will be to show you the ingredients that you can find in all Oaxacan homes, one of the advantages of our experience is that we have a garden with herbs and organic chilis. Baldo my son will share his knowledge in mezcal. We have an extend variety of agaves and homemade creations that you need to try. An open bar of mezcal is waiting for you. Snacks? Of course but you need to do Oaxacan style which includes worms, chicatanas and chapulines. Fist course we will offer chileajo tostadas and fruit water. Have you heard anything about the metate and how tortillas are made by hand? Here we will show you how to make tortillas, tetelas and memelitas. One of my specialties is salsas made in a molcajete, we will roast the ingredients over charcoal and comal. In every class we make 4 to 6 salsas depending seasonal ingredients. The mole is the emblem of our cuisine and we will make one of the 7 moles from scratch using a metate, you can’t leave our home without tasting our mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves and a delicious cake. Everyone will participate in the different processes, cutting ingredients from the garden, making sauces and of course eating. We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. We named it Black Legacy Experience, because it is definitely an essential place for our black history in Colombia. This town hosts a sort of spin off of Cartagena's history in timeline. This tour starts by having an introduction about the importance of emeralds for precolonial and colonial culture. We will go through the emerald and jewelry district to learn about the history of the precious metals and stones and its influence in Colombian culture. We will take a look at the emerald market to see the different minerals and qualities. Then we will work on your new ring, where you will decide all! the design, the stone and material, by the personal advisory of a orfebre (jewelry master) who teaches you how to do every single step.

Live a true El Yunque rainforest experience with a local. Excellent for foodies and adventure fans. We visit 2 waterfalls and the famous waterslide. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED. Having previous experience with horses is not a requirement, just love these noble and beautiful animals. Mystical Experience, Small groups (Maximum 04 People). After picking you up from your airbnb or hotel, the first step is to meet our horses, make friends with them, and learn the basic instructions to guide them along the way, remember to be one with your horse We will take you on a horseback ride through the mystical and hidden areas of the city, Inkilltambo (according to new research probably was an oracle on the inkas time), The Temple of the Moon or Temple of Fertility, places that were once inhabited by the Incas or were important religious centers, such as the Sacred Huaca of Amaru Wasi where formerly rituals were performed to mother earth. In the morning, a car will pass by you from your hostel or airbnb place and if you want also at the meeting point to take you to the sanctuary. We will share an unique and unforgettable time. We will have a beautiful day with native animals of the sierra and jungle area. We will see in their houses: monkeys, macaws, turtles, deer, deer cats, alpacas, bears, wild cats, foxes, condors among others. The purpose is to help and learn about our mission, which is t o educate, so we invite schools and the public in general to teach children to respect our nature and animals. Our goal is the free some of them to their natural habitats. The connection with animals is an unforgettable experience. After the tour, the participants will have free time because it is a tour only for the participants and we will take them back to their accommodation or to the main square of Cusco is flexible. At the end of the tour we will have a store of products made of alpaca that the sale 50% goes to the animals and 50% to peasant communities around the sanctuary these sales serve to make the sanctuary sustainable since we do not receive support from the government.
